Julian Moore might've been the most abhorrent character in Weep our Wretched Land but he was by no means the worst villain. Yes, he hates the people, yes he's a bigot about... Probably everything and yes, this sounds bad but hear me out.
He's pathetic
He's an idiot, a loser, a blowhard, and if he was really the worst villain in Weep our Wretched Land, he'd actually have done something worth while but c'mon, what he actually do?
He was passive aggressive, made some awful comments to Aurora and people around her (most in his head because he's a big ol coward) but like, I'm 90% sure he didn't leave a scratch on Corey the one time we see him fight. In fact, he probably helped Corey because of how much of a handicap he was to his own men.
Like, imagine your one of Julian's dudes right, you go out into the woods to find the Beast and your buddy in the Sickle Corp said the thing isn't even real but Julian goes out anyway!
So there you are, traipsing through the Amorian wilderness at night and the whole time, this wannabe hunter is either monologuing to himself or complaining about how the humidity is making his hair fluffy and he's complaining about the heat or the cold or the bugs and---
The Beast is real, he's fighting you and Prince Julian... Just fell off his horse into the mud and one leg is dangling in the stirrup and now he's flailing saying the Beast attacked him so you go to help him up and then he's looking at the Beast and you're pretty sure he's about to piss himself when boom!
He charges the fucking thing and his sword is *still* in the scabbard! So he's gonna die out there, you're sure of it but then, the fae (and oh yeah, those are a thing here apparently) talks to it or something and they go into the woods and you look around and...
Total shit show, your friends are dead, the heir to Grimm Keep is terrified and y'know what? Dumbass mcroyal fuckface McGee is squinting at his sword like "why didn't that work? I swung it and everything."
Anyway, dumb meow meow

NCAA Division II Tournament Notes
As I type this on Tuesday evening, March 18 (2025), we're less than an hour from the first seven NCAA DII Regional Championship games tipping off tonight. It's just such a wonderful time of the year!
Last night, the West Region held their Regional Championship game, and Cal State Dominguez Hills edge Point Loma Nazarene, 61-58, to earn a trip to Evansville, IN, for the Elite Eight. Adam Afifi was a stud, finishing with 23 pts, 13 rebs, 3 blks & 3 stls. Here's the game story: https://gotoros.com/news/2025/3/17/mens-basketball-toros-take-down-no-1-seed-point-loma-to-claim-ncaa-west-regional-championship-and-punch-ticket-to-elite-eight.aspx
Daemen, who was the only undefeated team in college basketball at 28-0, fell in the Regional Semi-Finals to STAC, 79-74. It was the fourth time that the teams met this season, with Daemen winning the first three, and STAC coming through in the NCAA Tourney to reach tonight's Regional Championship Game. While I know that it's tough for Daemen to swallow right now, it's been a wonderful, historic season for Coach Mike MacDonald and the Wildcat program, going undefeated through the regular season and conference tournament. What a season for the Daemen Wildcats! Here's the game story from Daemen's perspective: https://daemenwildcats.com/news/2025/3/16/no-1-2-mens-basketball-sees-magical-season-come-to-a-close-in-the-second-round-of-the-east-regional.aspx
While there are seven really good matchups in tonight's Regional Championship Games, much of the national attention will be on the Nova Southeastern vs. Alabama-Huntsville game. Nova is playing at home, riding an incredible 83-game home win streak (which broke the all-time NCAA DII record). The Sharks are 32-1 and have won 19 straight games. They are winning by an average of 23.8 ppg. They are coached by the legendary Jim Crutchfield (who is also an incredible nice, humble guy), and the Sharks are an incredible 131-5 in their last four seasons. The Sharks defeated Alabama-Huntsville by 1, in overtime, in the Chargers first game of the year. The Chargers haven't lost a game since, reeling off 32 consecutive wins, winning by an average of 14.8 ppg. They are coached by first-year Head Coach Mick Hedgepeth. This situation reminds me of March of 2021, when NW MO State faced Northern State in the Regional Championship game. They were two dominant teams in NCAA DII basketball, and the game was an absolute classic, with Northern State leading for most of the game.....until Trevor Hudgins hit a step-back 3 with seconds remaining to send the game into overtime, where the Bearcats won, 91-86. From there, the Bearcats just dominated in the Elite Eight, defeating West Liberty, 98-77; then Flagler, 77-46; then West Texas A&M in the National Championship game, 80-54. It was an incredible run for NW MO State.....and once again, many will question the NCAA DII philosophy of regionalization. For me, I don't necessarily like it, yet I understand it......and with this said, I'm just going to enjoy the heck out of this game, which will likely be talked about for many years to come....
......and by the way, all of the other Regional Championship games should be great, and I'll be keeping a good eye on all of them......and geez, I'm really looking forward to watching the Washburn-MN State Moorhead game......and the West Liberty-Gannon game (The Coach Jim Crutchfield Coaching Tree Game), and all of the others.
Side note: Five of the teams that played in the Small College Basketball Hall of Fame Classic to start the season have reached the NCAA DII Regional Championship game! Nova Southeastern, STAC, Point Loma Nazarene, Gannon & Lake Superior State.
#Nova Southeastern#Alabama Huntsville#NW MO State#Northern State#West Texas A&M#West Liberty#Daemen#STAC#Point Loma Nazarene#Cal State Dominguez Hills#Washburn#MN State-Moorhead

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X STAC-N1 Benchmarks : Breaking Records
Benchmark Results for AMD Ryzen 97950X Processor System using STAC-N1
This article analyzes the Strategic Technology Analysis Center (STAC) and the STAC-N1 benchmark, explains why AMD Ryzen 9 CPUs in servers are perfect for crucial financial workloads, and then goes on to detail the systems that were evaluated and their findings.
Concerning STAC and the STAC-N1 Standard
Leading financial institutions and technology providers form the STAC Benchmark Council, which STAC sponsors and which establishes standards for evaluating financial technology. To assess how network stacks function in a simulated market data environment, the STAC Benchmark Council developed the STAC-N1 benchmarks.
The STAC-N1 benchmark does not need additional applications like middleware or exchange feed handlers since it leverages standard financial services workloads across many network APIs in a vendor-neutral way.
The low-latency capabilities of a system are shown by the STAC-N1 findings. The Financial Services Industry (FSI), which depends on high-frequency trading applications where even milliseconds of delay may affect earnings, finds this especially important. The STAC-N1 benchmark yields comprehensive latency analysis, throughput, CPU, and memory information, and offers a degree of automated testing and analysis.
Processors from AMD Ryzen TM 9 7950X Are Perfect for the Financial Services Sector
Because of capabilities like these, AMD Ryzen 9 7950X processors, which are based on the “Zen 4” architecture, provide record performance for demanding applications.
Each CPU may have up to 16 physical cores and 32 threads.
CPU boost clock maximum of 5.7 GHz
Support for DDR5-5200 MT/s DRAM up to 128GB
A pair of PCIe 5.0 x16 (FHHL) slots (16/NA or 8/8).
The capabilities provide the high performance that makes AMD Ryzen 9 7950X processors perfect for the HFT use-case, where a few microseconds of extra speed may result in millions of dollars in profit, as well as for the FSI industry.

Captivating Practices you can follow in horticulture:
Horticulture is the cultivation of plants. Cultivating gardens, fruits, vegetables, and flowers is both an art and a science. Ensuring plants develop healthily entails planting, tending to, and maintaining them.
Horticulture involves everything from seed planting to soil maintenance, watering, and ensuring plants receive the proper amount of sunshine to support their growth.
It involves more than just growing produce in your backyard; it also entails cultivating fruits and vegetables on a bigger scale while maintaining the health and nutritional value of the plants. As an attractive plant valued for its alluring flowers and distinctive foliage, cyclamen is important to horticulture. In this post, you will learn beautiful practices:
Container Gardening:
A flexible method for growing plants in small areas is container gardening. This method works well in urban or tiny spaces and uses pots, hanging baskets, or boxes. Combining different plants fosters creativity and results in arrangements that are eye-catching.
Various container designs and sizes allow for a wide range of plant species to be accommodated, providing design versatility. Controlling soil composition, watering schedules, and sun exposure is convenient for gardeners. Being a plant that grows well in pots, cyclamenis a popular choice for indoor or balcony gardens.
Japanese Zen Gardens:
Japanese Zen Gardens, also known as karesansui, epitomizes simplicity and calm. Made up of sand or scraped gravel that symbolizes water and rocks that depict mountains or islands, these gardens provide calm areas for reflection.
To inspire balance and tranquility, every component has been painstakingly placed. The simple reflections of nature created by thoughtfully arranged stones, moss, and trimmed plants foster a peaceful atmosphere. Strolls across the garden are guided by paths, which promote awareness.
Based on Zen Buddhism, Zen gardens are spiritual retreats encouraging introspection and harmony with the natural world. They also create a calm environment that eases mental tension and fosters a profound sense of serenity and connectedness.
Seasonal Flower Beds:
An ever-changing variety of flowers can be seen in seasonal flower beds, colorful displays of nature's shifting color palette. A constant display of color and aroma is ensured by carefully selecting plants in these beds, which flourish in particular seasons.
Sunflowers, dahlias, and zinnias make colorful summer blooms, while tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths adorn spring gardens. Autumnal beds consist of ornamental kale, chrysanthemums, and asters; winter beds can include attractive cabbages, cyclamens, and pansies.
With their ever-changing views that captivate the senses and provide visually striking and varied gardens, these beds' skillful rotation of seasonal flowers infuses landscapes with vitality and dynamism.
Topiary and sculpted gardens:
Topiary and sculpted gardens are living works of art in which plants are meticulously shaped into elaborate patterns and decorations. They display carefully manicured hedges, bushes, or trees in geometric designs, animals, or abstract sculptures.
Often seen in formal gardens or opulent estates, these manicured vegetation landscapes display artistic sophistication. By fusing horticulture with artistic expression, they provide a refined and whimsical charm, turning gardens into dynamic exhibition spaces that enthrall with their well-thought-out and creative designs.
Bottom Line:
You can follow any of the above practices for an alluring garden. You can also follow the practices of STAC or Sustainable Techniques in Agricultural Cultivation because they conduct studies that investigate new methods to improve the sustainability of the environment and productivity of horticulture.

Plague On Hirta
Hirta is the largest of the islands of the St Kilda archipelago on the western edge of Scotland. Its last residents left on August 29, 1930, on the Harebell, having come to the sad realization that their lifestyle was no longer sustainable. Before boarding, the villagers left an open bible and a plate of oats in each cottage. The last former resident of St Kilda, who left when she was eight, died…

Some stuff about Spyro in my canon...
Spyro himself ends up moving to Magic Crafters after the whole Red and Sorcerer ordeals, which made him realize he enjoyed magic a whole lot. It's something that's more "free" in a sense, something he can apply when out and about on adventures, too.
Cosmos wasn't the one who chose his mentor, Spyro did that himself (he was VERY adamant on this), and He chose the ever so enthusiastic Jarvis, who has a vast knowledge of magic across all fields. The PERFECT dragon to teach someone like Spyro.
One of his biggest reasons was because Jarvis is a user Dark Magic. The wizards on Mountain of Magic kinda snitched on him to Spyro when he brought up the possibility of learning in order to use it for good LMFAO. Luckily, they don't spill to beans to just anyone at the drop of the hat as Dark Magic is forbidden and...well. They're pretty buddy buddy with Jarvis.
Spyro is still an Artisan at heart. After all, they were the ones who saved his egg from a thief and raised him! Unfortunately, the Artisan lifestyle wasn't doing it for him, but at least he visits often, something I'm sure Nestor appreciates.
