Okay so subsiding my pure hype for BATDR, I really really wanna talk about the whole thing with Prancer because things are SO ROUGH rn

Pretty big Spoilers for BATDR obviously inbound, so watch out-

So. Bendy. Ink Demon. Same peep?? Sort of?? But not really- it’s confusing as hell honestly- Like who Prancer is is specifically the Ink Demon and not Bendy. But Bendy is a complicated vessel of sorts that contains the Ink Demon within, like a brainwash of sorts? It also ain’t clear one bit (unless I’m missing context clues which. That is all on me.) that the Bendy we know is just the Ink Demon putting on a childish facade

And theres THAT whole thing (that I will not mention because it’s literally at the end) so that’s another wrench in my previous characterization…

I think I know how to deal with it, however- and in a way I can keep.. a relative amount of what I’ve done to the lad! Not all (which is a personal bummer) but it is what it is-

Also it may be fun because it may bring some very fun interactions!

Prancer is very much a novice, but he did like to be a dj on occasions!

The reason this Bendy likes to go by Prancer is because “Prancing is a lot more… specific! Than bending. Like how I’m somewhat different from those faces on the posters.”

Prancer had grown a tail as the ink demon, unfortunately it kept getting stuck in machinery that he ultimately stopped regenerating it.

Prancer in terms of personality is… quite vague. They hone great skills of acting, so it’s incredibly hard to pinpoint what he truly is like is he timid and a scaredy cat? Is he dubious and snarky? Vile and heartless? It's hard to tell without taking him apart to the fullest.

His love language is physical affection

Many Dewey things because I needed to cave

Hmm.. how about i spill some things! I think that would actually help-

If you know me you already know this, but this Dewey and Bendy/Prancer are siblings! Both were designed by Mr. Henry Stein and produced out of the ink machine at the same time (through a mishap). Clearly, despite being the technical older one, Prancer has a bit more mischief in his gallops

Dewey was not shaped as well as they look now. They had many flaws, from a damaged eye to deformed and nonfunctional legs; Not to mention their voice was quite weak even before being clogged with ink. The second image shows their look before a cleanup!

Just like the first point, if you know me you know that I place Dewey as the identity of the Giant Hand in Ch5. The bottom left is them summoning said hand, also a sneakie to how they ARE the hand
