[Twitter] Twitter Doesn’t Care

So, several months ago, a very lovely artist by the alias of “Starbirbz” tried to log into their Twitter account and Discord only to find that they no longer had access.  Apparently, someone brute-forced it and stole them out from under Star.  Not sure what happened with Discord, but as of the time of this post, Starbirbz still doesn’t have their original Twitter account.  It’s not for lack of trying, though.  They and their friends reported the account as hacked / stolen, but nothing ever came of it.

In early April, someone started using the original Twitter account – or rather, they redecorated and renamed it.  Star warned users not to follow that account and that person replied with “lol, w rizz” before offering to negotiate a price for the return of said account.  On top of that, they actually admitted they bought the account from a website.  Even with this new piece of the puzzle… a literal confession of buying stolen goods… Twitter continues to do nothing.

This is a travesty.  It’s been two months, almost.  Why isn’t Twitter doing anything about this?  They have proof that the account was stolen, for God’s sake!  What more do they need?!

Let this be a lesson to you, kids: No matter who owns the site, Twitter just does not give a ███ about your account unless you’re multi-million-follower “influencer”.
