Who could have figured that me and my grandma would be able to go to a norse themed market that was suggested by a very nice neighbor, who heard I was interested in old norse culture! :D
It was very cozy and beautiful there, making you feel like you truly went back in time. So many were dressed up in appropriate clothing and the children too! They had wooden weapons, it was adorable seeing them run around fighting each other 🥺
They had many stalls that offered things they had actually made themselves! From jewelry, pocket knives, to wooden toys, clothing and kitchen utensils. Apparently this is a tradition they kept alive and they even had a few storytellers but we weren't able to be there for it sadly. Which was a shame because I could have gotten to experience what Bragi does for a living! 😭
Though I did manage to get my hands on a green overdress I plan on using for my Sigyn cosplay and a silver bracelet, along with a freyr statue crafted after actual archeology finds (quite the heavy fellow in my hand!) and the ladies in the pictures were the ones that sold them to me, so sweet! It was the last day too, I was lucky to have attended✨
My husband, one of my besties, and I went to Japan, and while we were there we went to go see the Himmel statue before it was taken down. We handmade our costumes, and had a lot of fun going around the park in cosplay. We got asked for a few photos, and received lots of friendly waves. I even got called Frieren sama a few times! So happy we were lucky enough to be able to have this experience!
Me, fondly remembering my playthroughs of FFVII, VIII, IX, X, X-2, and XII: I don't need more blogs I don't need more blogs I don't need more blogs I do --
Though if I did RP as anyone, it'd hands-down be Beatrix from IX.
