Wondering about Chihiro…in your au….🙏

Ohhh Chihiro! Well they were one of the characters that I really liked designing, I thought the artificer class matched her a lot, Chihiro is a programmer in canon so I tried to make them still have that technology going on

One thing that is really important to Chihiro's character is how she thinks herself to be weaker than the others, they have all that inferiority complex going on and it's still very important to their character in this au. I made her a very small and fragile character regarding to psychical strength, she thinks that makes her out to be useless comparing to the rest of her party but it's just not the truth. The problem is that Chihiro needs to understand where her strengths really are

Sorry just looking back at it, I really do think G3 sacrificed having good fashion in order to have good character design. Which like, if it was just the cartoons they were rebooting, then like sure. But all I'm saying if any other doll brand in the year of our lord 2023/2022 come out with tye-die shorts with frills we would have laughed them off the market but it's Monster High so it's fine

I think it succeeds a lot at times, for example, no matter how much I don't like G3 Clawdeen, not gonna lie, they really got that 'quirky protag girl' vibe incredibly well with her. Or how the G3 Werecat Twins personalities show so strongly though their designs, but dear god WTF is Meowlody wearing.

But on the other hand it's not like good character design and fashion are antithetical to each other. Like not only was this the reason G1 Monster High got so popular (that and it's gothicism) but G3 HAS put out nice looking fashion pieces before!

You know I love PET and am extremely excited for what they are doing for this season but halfway through drawing designs for the, I realized I could not include parts of the theming of their bases into the postal office outfits I wanted to give them. Or more so I could, I’m just a coward

A while ago I was persuaded by my friends with epic steampunk references to draw Ozpin in steampunk! This one is a collab with @theangelofangst, and @bowl-of-shortness , who both colored my lines with their own interpretations of a color scheme! Because I was curious I made an attempt at a combination of their color schemes, which you see in the first pic. Anyways, this was super fun, and a few more are coming along the way 👀
