Benjamins big day

Dear diary,

My daughter Ann is already a teenager. She is such a spirited young girl blosseming into a young woman. I love to see the development in my girls when they go from child to woman.

My son Benjamin got married. We were all happy for them to get engaged but soon after we heard devastating news. His fiance, Mary, is pregnant! I couldn't believe it but I had to face it. I'm going to be a grandmother way to soon because he has been seduced. No good can come from wearing pants. (AN: Yes, she blames the pants for all of it)

All my boys, Roger, Matthew, Marco, Benjamin, Stephen, George, Charles and William. And me and Marco with the bride and groom. Ofcourse she couldn't wear white anymore.

It was a lovely ceremony but it hurted so much to see her belly. But so thankful to know they are married now and this baby will be cared for.

our 25th anniversary

Dear diary,

We have been blessed with a granddaughter! And Evangeline named her after me! Lianna Faith Carlson. It's so precious to hold this little baby girl. Especially after all those grandsons.

We also celebrated our 25 wedding anniversary. I feel so incredible blessed to have live all those years with Marco and we are still going strong. We had an idea, a wonderful idea. We renewed our vows. I had tears in my eyes watching Marco promes me all those things all over again. I can't wait for the next 25 years.

We have been blessed incredible with our 19 childeren and 7 grandchilderen with another one on the way.

A family with 19 childeren (part 3)

Part 3 of the artikel of 'baby sims'. In part 1 we covered the whole family and the parents, in part 2 we covered the first 10 childeren of the family. Now it's time for the remaining 9 childeren. (AN: The ages are from my spreadsheat, not the ones in game. The photo's are the 'in game' ones so they don't match their ages)

11. Florence Rosa Doyle, age 12

Florence is the second one of the second set of twins. Where George is very serious and by himself, Florence is very active and loves to be around people. Especially her twinbrother. Just like her twinbrother, she is very creative. She is the best in playing the violin in the family.

12. Benjamin Robert Doyle, age 10

Benjamin is very smart for his age. He loves to learn everything his older brothers already know. He is always asking questions to them about what they do and what they are learning. Sometimes Benjamin can be a bit sad. But when he has spend some time by himself he does much better.

13. Ann Hope Doyle, age 9

Ann is very self assured. She is leading the younger ones in every activity they do. She loves playing music and is always happy hopping around the house looking for someone to play or chat with.

14. Stephen Frederick Doyle, age 8

Stephen is a normal eight year old. He loves to play outside all day long. On the monkey bars, the pirate ship or in the swimmingpool. And he probably brougth his cousin David along to play together.

15. Clara Alexis Doyle, age 6

Clara is a very sensitive little girl. She loves going to one of her big sisters and play with them or just hang out with them. Especially Aimee is her favourit. But she also loves to be part of Ann's club and follow her on a mission around the neighborhood.

16. Olimpia Fulvia Doyle, age 5

Olimpia is such a cheerful little girl. She loves everything and goes along with every project, idea or activity. As long as she is part of it she will be alright. She had Clara are very close. Olimpia knows one thing for sure, she wants to be a mommy just like her own.

17. Harriet Beecher Doyle, age 3

Harriet is still a toddler. And a very active one. She was very fast with learning how to craw and walk and by now she has mastered climbing on top of everything too. With her beautiful brown eyes she is the sweetheart of the whole family. She gets everything done with just a sweet look.

18. Phillip John Doyle, age 1

Phillip is the youngest son after a string of three girls. His parents where very happy to recieve a 8th son. Phillip is an angel and his parents wouldn't mind having another dozen of little Phillips. That's how easy he is. Phillip loves his blocks and his cars.

19. Lilias Corrie Doyle, age 0

Lilias is just a couple of months old and still mommy's little buddy. The family didn't thought Lilias would join their family since their mother was about to turn 40th years old. They where overjoyed with the pregnancy and arrivel of Lilias. She get's lots of hugs during the day of all her siblings. She sure will be spoiled growing up.

A family with 19 childeren! (part 1)

A family in sulani recently had their 19th child. All the childeren are biological childeren of Marco and Elianna Doyle. They have two sets of twins and 15 singletons in their family. Mom and dad are 40 and 47 years old and already grandparents to two boy's. We visited the family to see what life in a big family means.

First of all we have to learn their names: Charlotte, Lucy, Evangeline, Roger, William, Aimee, Susanna, Charles, Matthew, George, Florence, Benjamin, Ann, Stephen, Clara, Olimpia, Harriet, Phillip and Lilias. They all have names after important christian figures in the present day and from years ago. Above are Charlotte and Lilias not pitured. Charlotte is on a mission trip with her husband and son. She is expecting the couple's second baby and third grandchild for Marco and Elianna. Lilias is still a little baby and therefor not pitured.

Charlotte isn't the only one pregnant, her twinsister Lucy is also expecting her second baby later this year.

#16 of the family, Olimpia, recently got engaged. So another member will be added to the family in just a couple of months.

But why 19 childeren? Elianna and Marco both don't have this many siblings. Marco is the second of two childeren, Elianna is the fourth of seven childeren. But they both grew up in church and got the conviction that childeren are a blessing from the Lord and you shouldn't try to prevent having childeren. So when they got married at ages 25 and 18 they left their family size up to God. He blessed them with 19 childeren in their 22 year marriage.

Elianna thow is not the only one in her family with such a big family. She has both a sister and a brother with 10 childeren, and both a sister and a brother with 9 childeren. Elianna's parents have more then 60 grandchilderen! Elianna and Marco are hoping they will end up with such a great number of grandchilderen too. They are enjoying their current two grandchilderen and are looking forward to meeting another two in about a half year.

In such a big family their is always something happening. There is no dull moment. The family also loves music, they have a piano, mutiple violins and a guitar. All the childeren where taught to play an instrument from a young age and they are all pretty good at it.

The house has only three bedrooms, a masterbedroom and two childerensrooms. The two rooms are divided between the boy's and girls. Except for toddler Phillip who sleeps in the girlsroom. When Marco and Elianna started their family they didn't have much money so the childeren had to share a room. When the family grew and Marco started making more money the family upgraded their home but the 'only' two bedrooms stayed because the childeren loved sharing their room.

There are lots of places to play around the house. In the bedrooms, in the musicroom, the livingroom, the porch but also in the yard. The family has their own playground with monkeybars and a pirate ship. The family also has a swimmingpool since a couple of years. All the childeren are encoured to work out reguarly and stay fit. Their parents are a great example in this area. They both work out reguarly too.

Stephen's big day

Dear diary,

My daughter Clara is already a teenager. I'm so proud at her. She is so sweet and sensitive. She reminds me of myself all the time. So sweet and special to see her grow up to a young lady.

We had the weddingday of Stephen and Pamela recently. They are now happily married. So sweet. My youngest son is a married man taking care of his wife now. Seeing all my sons and my husband lined up was so special! And then me and Marco with our son and his wife. It's a blessing to be a part of this special day of Stephen and Pamela.

The ceremony was so beautiful to watch, I had tears in my eyes watching them together.

Stephen adores his Pamela and she adores him. Nothing better for a young couple then this.

And afterwards, my daughter Charlotte had something special to tell me... And I had something special to tell my family, I'm expecting again! Baby Doyle #18 is on the way! We can't be more thrilled about this sweet blessing coming in nine months.

An engagement

Dear diary,

My son got engaged! I'm thrilled for both him and his fiance, Pamela. They are such a great match for eachother.

Stephen is my youngest son. This is a little bit hard for me. To see my youngest son go and starting his own family. I'm hoping to have another son sometime soon. Since Stephen we only had girls.

We have been hit hard by the latest storm. We had two lightning stikes on our property. The childeren where a bit scared afterwards. And Marco didn't like buying new stuff because the old ones burned down. But I told Marco we now have enough money to pay for it. We have had hard times with money but we are not only fine but good right now.

Two birthday's

Dear diary,

We had another two birthday's. In a big family like ours birthday's are a constant in our home. There is always someone celebrating his or her birthday. This time it where Stephen and Harriet celebrating their birthday's.

Stephen is such an active young man. Always slim and fit. And always looking around to help someone. It's no wonder that he already is courting. Her name is Pamela Alexandra Holden. They are a very sweet couple together.

And my baby girl Harriet is no longer a baby. She is an active toddler running around the house, or, trying to run around the house after her older sisters.

Two birthday's

Dear diary,

We had two birthday's recently. In a big family like ours we have birthday's all the time. We love those and each one deserves a party.

This time it where Stephen and Ann who grew up. Ann has always been a spunky child but she really grew up into a self assured woman. She loves music and is always cheering up everyone around her.

Stephen is very active, always working out. If it's raining it doesn't matter to him. He will work out inside or in the rain.

Since Ann is an adult now, she started courting recently. His name is Derick Edmonds. He is a real man and loves to work out just like Stephen. That's how Ann and Derick meet.

I'm just enjoying my time in the nursery and girlsroom. There is always so much activity over there. Someone is making homework, the toddlers are talking so cute during their play and the girls love to make crafts on the table.

Two birthday's

Dear diary,

My son Stephen and my daughter Clara are already celebrating another birthday. Stephen is such an active little boy. I love him so much. He is always running around after his big brothers.

Clara is such a sweet sensitive little girl. And she has such beautiful hair. Now that Clara is a toddler it's time a real playdate with her cousin Rebecca. She is the daughter of my twinssiter Fiona. Clara and Rebecca are the same age. Fiona and I have been looking forward to having our little girls play together.

I also have something to share with Fiona. I'm expecting again! Baby #16 is on the way. We are so thrilled to be blessed again. I'm almost 35 and I know my baby years are coming to an end faster then I want. But at the same time I'm so thankful with the 15, soon 16, childeren I'm blessed with.

Stephen's birthday

Dear diary,

My youngest is already a toddler. When my baby's grow up I'm always looking forward to get pregnant again to full my heart with baby cuddles. Those baby's are so sweet, soft and cute. But ofcourse Stephen still holds a special place in my heart since he is my youngest for now. Since I'm not expecting.

In the periods of time between pregnancy's I love to work out on a daily basis. My mother always taught me it is important to look good for your husband. Marco and I are almost 15 years married and I still want to look good for him when he comes home from work.

Since it's fall, my garden is a bit empty but I planted some new seeds. And the garden still needs some work I want those flowers, vegatables and herbs to come back next spring to give more of their produces.

Matthew's weddingday

Dear diary,

My dear son, Matthew is a married man. He and Lana are happily married. We are so happy for them. Matthew is our 9th child and 4th son. We will miss him dearly.

All my sons together except for baby Stephen is a wonderful sight. From left to right: Roger, George, Matthew, Benjamin, my husband Marco, William and Charles.

The ceremony was beautiful in the outdoors with all the fall colours around us. Matthew and Lana picked a beautiful season to marry.

At home my daughter Florence is developing a real heart for childeren. I found her many times with baby Stephen in my bedroom and she loves to read to Ann.

Baby Doyle #14

Dear diary,

We have been blessed with our 7th son! I love to have an equel amount of girls and boys. Now we are equal again! Our seventh son is named Stephen Frederick Doyle and he is named after Stephen Frederick Olford.

My 9th child and 4th son got engaged. I didn't got to be part of it this time because I was just postpartum but I loved hearing the story of Matthew and Lana. They are perfect for each other and I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for them. (AN: this is like the 9th time I have wrote that, she can't say anything else when one of her childeren is getting married)

And like it hasn't been buzy enough, the twins got to celebrate their birthday. I'm actually very relieved to have another teenager daughter to help me. George and Florence love to spend time together as twins but also apart. George loves to be just by himself while Florence goes out and about to meet people, always putting herself second. They are both very active and they work out together all the time.

In all the business of life, there still needs to be time for homework. Taking care of toddlers, changing those newborn diapers, cooking, cleaning, and so much more.
