Thoughts on Steven Universe Finale

The finale of Steven Universe was good. It's not the most amazing finale ever since GF, Regular Show and MLP endings were all better and had me bawling like a baby but it's still a million times better than the finale of Star vs the Forces of Evil and Samurai Jack. I remember theorizing that Steven would end up leaving Beach City and while I had a small doubt about that happening, it turned out to be true and make sense for his character. Steven needs to figure out who he is and him leaving his home makes perfect sense. His goodbyes with everyone were very emotional, its nice to hear that he’s going to a therapist and he and Connie kissing each other made me squeal. I remember when Steven Universe came out back when I was a freshman in High School and its honestly crazy how the show has finally ended. I remember falling in love with the characters and how they’ve developed, the amazing music I’d listen to repeat and becoming invested in the story. Now it's not a perfect series, I have my fair share of complaints and there are things that I wish would have been done or explored more, but I’m mostly satisfied with how the series ended and I will miss it deeply. It will certainly go down as one of the best cartoons of the 2010′s and perhaps overall in animation history alongside other giants such as Gravity Falls and My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic.

Horse draws something that’s not a fan troll? why yes I can draw other things besides fan trolls :D  anyways, I made this SU oc for my gf silver, he’s a malachite, I decided to stick with the taur theme the cannon malachite has because, well it’s pretty cool xD But i decided to make him more sea dragon- esque because well dragons are awesome. She’s very happy with him and I am happy with the result so I’m sharing it here :D
