I loathed Veronica and starting when I was eight I wanted to take her pearl necklace and strawberry soda and shove it; she was rich, they lived in a mansion, poor Betty didn't stand a chance. Betty was the only one I felt deserved mercy. How could Veronica stand Archie? How could he stand her? Why didn't he like Betty who was a regular person? Where did Jughead spring from? Where was the America that had soda fountains?

Jason never got to be 16. makes me sad.
Not to deny that Jason not being able to make it to 16 in his first life is sad, but I mean he did technically end up making it, and he made it to 17 and 18 and 21 and so on and so forth, it just happened "in round two" so to speak.
What I think is sadder though, is that depending on whether he was 15 or 14 years old when this happened:
There are one of two ways he would've spent his sixteenth year.
Option 1 (if he was 15 at the time of his ressurection):
(This is 1 year post initial hospitalization)
Or Option 2 (if he was 14 at the time of his ressurection):
(And this is 2 years post initial hospitalization, 1 year post escape from that facility)
Happy sweet 16th, Jason John Doe #265 :)

Would you ask Emmet and Ingo out the same way as the other residents of the Valley or would we have to ask them out/ask to marry a different way? Since they don't come from the Valley themselves.
With how Stardew Valley is coded I believe it follows the same formula as any other resident. (Would have to double check with my Co-Conductor on this. But I believe it is lock behind hardcode - aka - can’t use or change anything within the Framework of the game itself - with how you approach the residents in terms of asking out and marriage)
Tho Ingo story wise has dedicated his time in-between the railroad and running daily errands to learn about the culture of Stardew Valley. Or in this case the culture of the Ferngill Republic.
He just dragged a begrudge Emmet along to also learn about the valley.
They are of course being open minded about the customs and culture.
Ingo a bit more than Emmet but thats because Emmet has trust issues with the residents due to first introductions behind the scenes/off screen - not going as planned or well. But that doesn’t mean he is outright ignoring or disrespecting there views. He just doesn’t agree with some. Like their behavior towards Pokémon. Or how the Flower Dance is preformed.
But things like giving flowers and mermaid pendants. They really do try and understand and you will most definitely see this play out in Emmet’s upcoming heart event.
Though that is still being drafted and refined and the assets are currently in the process of being made.

I have a big google doc thing where I keep track of media and stuff (putting everything in loosely ranked categories), which is mostly just for my own reference so I know what tv shows I've already seen before, etc. and I never really look back through it, typically just a quick "okay, watched two movie in the past 8 months, need to quickly slap them somewhere in the lists. okay. done. save document. exit". But today I was actually reading through some of the old notes and there are like... MULTIPLE places where my comment is basically "It would have been good if it were about elves" or "I wish there was a fantasy show made in this same style" or "It's well made, but I just keep thinking about how I would like it more if everyone was an elf or was in old 1700s costumes" or etc like...... lol.... Most biased media ranking system on earth blatantly made by someone with an extremely hyperspecific range of narrow interests. It'd be like if a food reviewer only had 5 foods they actually liked, so they'd just go to a pizza place and be like "eh, the pizza was okay, but I just think it would be better if it was cereal instead. :/ ...2 out of 10"

@love-killed-the-superstar Following our recent discussions, I just need to point out again that Shredder burned down April's whole ass shop in the first season of 2k3, and after she rebuilt it identically, brick by brick, he is STILL like Hm. I wonder where I may be able to find my enemies now. Such a mystery. Alas.
Meanwhile, Karai is like "I need to deliver a threat to Leonardo. I'll just leave it with April" and breezes into the shop pretty as you please.

fob @ fanfest recap, post-my living vicariously through people's live updates since i cannot get over my last minute resentful decision of not being able to pull off the (admittedly 650+ total mile) drive 2 philly today and perhaps feeling devastated over having missed
- patrick: "so! i'm patrick and i know nothing about sports" and also just MASSIVELY feeling the show based on all the videos i've seen!?
- pete making a warped comparison (!?! could it get more wavernot4love coded than this)
- joe chant that he successfully heard :]
- i don't care debut of late (finally!!)
- pete being self aware about the tennis new york incident (calling fobbies "monsters" in a vaguely affectionate way... HELP)
- honestly such an expansive setlist for an event like this?? FIFTEEN SONGS!? sixteen candles? fake out? grand theft autumn? headfirst slide? HELLO
- pete doing his saturday thing??? i honestly didn't think that was a thing they did @ these sports event kinda things w shorter sets
- you could really tell they Knew they had hardcore fans there
and man i wish i could have made it but here's to hoping leg 2 comes next year because i will 100% be traveling for multiple shows again <333

I LOVE going everywhere by bike. Don't need to wait for a bus. Don't need to cram myself into a bus with (urgh) people. Or even worse, what feels like every single student in town. I still get home in about the same amount of time. I'm so so flexible including with places. Like yeah sure, let's go there! I don't care if the next bus station is far away. Doesn't matter to me.
Stayed out late with friends recently. Two of em had to get their family to come pick them up because that's too far to walk and it was too late for buses. A different friend lives like 30 minutes away but always walks and their way goes through a small park where literally no one is at with few lanterns so it's pitch black and I could literally just walk them home and then take the bike which is faster and has its own light and feels and probably is safer than walking those dark ass streets at night alone.
Like. I can just do all that. And yeah, sometimes when I'm not doing too well I feel like collapsing afterwards and yeah, maybe my fingers feel like falling off a lot at this time of year but that's like. SO worth it. I have no idea how people can live and NOT go everywhere by bike. Like if it's more than 20-30 minutes maybe but even with hills.... I fucking love my bike.
