Guys I’m going to tour a boarding barn tomorrow morning and meet a rescue horse tomorrow afternoon, what is happening, what am I doing
#personal#nothing! is going according! to plan! i fucked up!#i saw his cute little scraggly teenage picture online and it was instant stupid simp heart eyes#do I have the size of savings that I wanted to have when I started looking for a horse? no! COVID took 3 grand out of me last month#is this part of my six month plan to begin barn searching in fall and horse shopping in winter? also no!#does this horse fit my goal of a 7 to 15 ye old well broke registered Icelandic four gaited endurance prospect?#hell fucking no!#this is a grade half broke gelding not gaited possibly backed too early. surrendered and/or abused. at least 1 yr til ready to ride normally#total opposite!#maybe that’s the attraction. sometimes the best laid plans etc…#still very much hoping that we won’t gel in person or the rescue will approve someone else before me or he’ll fail a vet check#so that I can go back to the plan and saving money and settling into things
