On my ascend to Mt Stok Kangri on 10th September 2016 I found this card posted under a stone some 100 mtrs below the shoulder and clicked it and started moving on after some 50 mtrs ahead one of fellow trekker asked what I found there and I showed him the pic on my camera and he read the beautiful words from a daughter to her father who was going to summit the mountain. The first reaction from James was " Oh this is sad " on hearing this sad word I quickly took off my backpack started running down back and took the card and then posted it on the summit. It was quite a good feeling to post it on summit even though I did not call out the words as written but still I was happy to post it there for little Sahaj. Nimalan is a hardcore trekker and traveler. The biggest bucket list in his life was to become a professional mountaineer. He has climbed almost all the trekkable peaks in South India. He covered the entire Western Ghats during his travel and trekking. Since the highest peak in the Western Ghats is just 2695 meters, none of these climbs was a challenge for Nimalan. He wanted to summit more challenging high-altitude mountains, and after some research, he decided to go for the Himalayan peaks. As a big fan of Reinhold Messner, a legendary mountaineer, he wanted to do the climb independently, carrying own food, tents, and without a guide – Alpine style, since that is more like testing himself. The search for the trekkable mountain for beginners ended up with Stok Kangri and Kang Yatse 2.
