POEM : AREWA IS BLEEDING

The Sun hid in the blanket of clouds

The Air was clothed in smoke

Hearts died to the choir of gunshots

Architectures were assaulted of their histories

Many oceans of souls fled away

While others bled a sea

My eyes were stabbed by the entire scene

As I watched souls melt in despair

While our Leaders blew winds of silence
