Some kind of small, minimalistic, snag free, row counting stitch marker has been on my wishlist

Do you mean like 10 stitch markers labeled 1 through 10? Or something else?

So in the effort to make sure the sweater actually fit her I ended up not making it long enough. Go figure.......

But! It’s finished, she so far has two moods with it, I hate it and it’s one of my children I must feed it dry kibble.

Why is her tummy naked? 

Any ferret owner has probably experience or at least been aware of the possibility of their ferrets getting adrenal disease.  This past Friday, we found out that this is the cause for Vala’s symptoms--including her nakedness.  An ultrasound performed at my sister’s clinic revealed that her right adrenal gland was much larger than the left, and due to that one being affected, surgery is too risky of an option.  

So what does that mean exactly?

It means that due to a tumor on the gland it wrecks havoc on her estrogen and hormones.  She loses fur, her attitude changes, she has abdominal pain etc.  It’s not immediately life threatening, but it is a slow but progressive disease.   

Because we don’t know if the tumor is malignant or benign, we won’t know how much time we have with her but we can keep our sense of humor, it’s a defense mechanism (and sweater fashion sense) about ourselves.  

We’re currently waiting to hear back about hormone implants to see if we can’t help the symptoms and make her comfortable.  Until then, she gets a knitted sweater or two and Cotton candy Dum Dums (within moderation) if I can find any in this town.

Hello! Can’t say I’m that cool to come up with a pattern, as it’s a tube with arm holes.  Well currently 2x2 rib stitch and some ss. I was having an issue with coming up with one as one Vala is small, and everything is so large on her.  I’m using one of my smallest needle sizes I have (size 2, 1 ended up being too small which I’m thankful for) I ran into a problem with the arms though and had to see if anyone else figured it out and I found this pattern the concept was just like how I started mine but I figured I would go ahead and use the rest of the pattern since they figured out the arm hole part of it. I hope that helps!
