Solidarity
I've been rather busy between work and also working on books, etc. In saying this, however, I wish to show my solidarity with the people of California during the current invasion that you, as a state, are facing from a fascist government. I feel (even before this) for the people being abducted by ICE, and although I am Australian, I wish I could be there on the front line. It's fucked to see so many families torn apart for simply a skin colour. It's fucked to see those fighting for fundamental human rights being hit with rubber bullets and tear gas. All I can say is—at least on a personal level—those on the front line deserve nothing less than honours for standing up for the downtrodden.
From the land down under, know this: we, as a country (yes, even the conservatives here), see this as fascism, plain and simple. Stay strong, and if you ever need someone to talk to from the outside, to validate your contributions to the betterment of society, tell me, and I'll rush to remind you of what you are fighting for. I might be asleep, but I promise I'm here to steelman you where I can.
Stay strong, resist fascism, and protect your people.

A reminder that House and Senate will be back in session this coming week, we need to look out for bad bills like HR 9495 in case they do go up for a vote.

Angry protesters from New York to Alaska assail Trump and Musk in ‘Hands Off!’ rallies
Thousands of demonstrators took to the streets across the United States on Saturday, voicing their frustration with President Donald Trump's leadership. This marked the largest wave of protests to date by an energized opposition movement aiming to rebuild momentum after the turbulent early weeks of the Republican administration.
The "Hands Off!" protests were coordinated in over 1,200 locations across all 50 states, with participation from more than 150 organizations, including civil rights groups, labor unions, LGBTQ+ advocates, veterans, and election integrity activists. The rallies remained peaceful, and no arrests were immediately reported.

My first post ever, gang! And I'm doing it to support the small farm community of which I am a proud member. So here's the deal:
We have a crisis on our hands, and we need your help!! Five year old Gray Fox Farm in Washington State is at IMMEDIATE risk of displacement, meaning the land and farmers will be separated, unable to continue the vital work of rejuvenation and food production!! They raised thousands of dollars for legal fees and have begun a new fundraiser to help the farmers buy the farm outright. Donate and spread the word - together, we can keep a native-run, small-scale, regenerative, amazing farm thriving. This is YOUR chance to change the future. Don't mess it up.
Here is the link, with a greater description of the farm and their needs: https://gofund.me/73c2be52

Protests erupt in Los Angeles against immigration policies that tear families apart. As rubber bullets fly, we ask: Who protects us from the ones who are supposed to protect? This is our America: living under systemic racism and oppression. Stand up. Speak out. Silence is not an option. Are you listening?

I Remember | Boycott Family Business Beer Company
Today, I remember.
I remember that my place in this world is to stand, body and soul, between the innocent and vulnerable and those would do or wish them harm. Those who would take away their freedoms and rights won with untold suffering and loss of human life. Not just our own soldiers currently serving and veterans.
The lives taken in the cause of Democracy were no less valuable than my own, or yours. Today we remember the tragedy of their loss, too. No decent human ever delights in taking the life of another.
Today, I remember that my grandfather's brother was gunned down in cold blood on a street in The Netherlands trying to escape from Nazis he fought. An entire branch of our family tree cut off at the roots because of facist dictator
Adolf Hitler. Hitler, whom commanded Generals the likes of which
@realDonaldTrump will appoint to serve him.
I remember that on D-Day and up until the end of the Battle of Normandy, over 18, 000 Canadians died paving the way for The Allied Forces into Europe. Over 200, 000 good, selfless men from countries around the world gave their lives for Democracy at Normandy alone.
If that many human lives disappeared from the world with the snap of a finger, my entire city, and one larger neighbouring city would be EMPTY of human life in an instant.
Today I remember the horrors of war, and solemnly vow to use my vote and my voice to oppose and stamp out facism and autocracy whenever and wherever I find it.
To NEVER allow the horrors of WW1 & 2 to be visited upon humanity again.
To NEVER allow facists to rule anywhere in the world ever again.
I ask you, join me in ensuring this man, and those like him, who voted for a facist, never sees another dime of any decent human being's money, ever again.
On the 11th Day, of the 11th Month, at the 11th Hour, we remember.

This man is terrible beyond words, and has for YEARS reaped untold amounts of money from the SPN Fandom. He has liked posts from Joe Rogan in the days since the election. His response to criticism was to try to weasel his way out of it. As seen here:
