“Babe! Is this good?” By now Jisung had gone through all the outfits in his wardrobe and you wondered how he was still pulling some out. “Baby, aren’t you late?” You questioned looking at the clock. You were sitting there for nearly 2 hours now, trying to help Jisung decide on an outfit for Stay’s. They would have some FanCalls today and Jisung was anxious as to what to wear. He always was. He was a very timid person in real life, even though Stay barely saw that side of him. He always tried to appear cheerful and happy, but he got anxious fast. So you could completely understand his anxiety before FanCalls. He knew that Stay’s loved them and that most FanCalls were pretty chill and nice but he still wanted to show them his very best side. You never got annoyed with him, because you understood. Him trying his hardest to appear perfect was cute but also made you worry a lot. In your eyes he was already perfect and you knew this was the same for a lot of Stay’s, but Jisung still felt anxious. You finally decided on an outfit and he kissed you a quick goodbye before he left for the FanCall. He had been excited since yesterday. After they won the award, he wanted to thank Stay in person, which was one of the reasons he posted on Instagram but that wasn’t the same as talking with them on a FanCall. He knew that the topic would eventually arise and he wanted to let Stay know that it was mostly because of them, even though you knew it was also because of their hard work. Jisung, Chan and Changbin worked day and night on songs and beats. Hyunjin had joined them now as well, often being in the studio with them. You knew how often Jisung came home late, completely tired but always with a smile on his lips, saying that he can’t wait for Stay’s to hear the new song, always hoping they’ll love it. He was always happy when he saw good feedback in the comments and how much Stay loved their new album or songs. He was always so proud when he read those comments, feeling confident in his skills. The anxiousness never left him of course, but he still felt happy every time he read them. Even though Jisung often got overwhelmed, he still looked forward to every Stay he would be able to talk to on a FanCall. Sometimes however, there were also FanCalls that made him very uncomfortable and you hated that the most. He looked forward to these calls so much, that every time he got an uncomfortable one, your heart ached for him. He is a very anxious person, always blaming himself easily and thinking he did something wrong. So every time you tried to reassure him that it’s not his fault. Your fears came true when he returned home, looking slightly disoriented. He took his shoes off and went to change immediately without looking at you. He knew that if he started talking to you, he would rant it all out and he always worried if he annoyed you. Which he of course never did. You loved listening to him and you always wanted to be there for him, which you of course also told him every time you got the chance to do so. The moment he emerged from the bedroom you walked to him, giving him one of your softest smiles. “I’m sure you’re hungry.” You exclaimed, taking his hand and walking him to the couch in the living room. You had already set up the table in front of you two, with his favourite movie on the television. You two ate in silence while watching the movie. You felt Jisung feel more at ease as you watched the movie and figured he’d be more open to talk about it. After the movie ended you softly took his hands again and looked at him. “Do you want to tell me what happened?” He nodded but looked at your hands, softly playing with your fingers. “Is it about the FanCall event?” “Yes.” “Did someone say something mean?” “Not really… Someone complimented me but in a rather inappropriate way.” He sighed and finally looked up at you. You hated this. The fact that they had to endure something like that without being able to hang up or ignore them.

“I see… That was not very nice of the fan to do. But maybe that person didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable. Sometimes people say things without really thinking about it. Maybe that person intended for it to be a compliment but didn’t think about how you would perceive it. I’m sure it wasn’t meant in a bad way.” You smiled at him, softly kissing one of his hands, noticing how his tensed body got more at ease. “You think so?” “I’m sure of it. If that person really is a Stay, I’m sure it wasn’t meant in any way to insult your or make you feel bad.” “Thank you.” He smiled at you before hugging you tightly.

Felix:

Saying Felix was excited wouldn’t do him justice. He had been excited since a few weeks ago, when it was decided that the FanCall would be today. He was even more excited because they won an award just a day prior, so he could go into the FanCall with good news for Stay. He also wanted to thank them for helping them achieve these awards. Of course you always told him that it was also their achievements because they worked hard for it but he never listened. You could always see how much he loved Stay. Felix is a very sensitive person. Things easily get to him and he feels a lot. Which always makes you worry, because he gets hurts easily. Even though he’s their Sunshine and yours in particular, he often gets his feelings hurt. A lot of people love Felix, which also gets him a lot of hate. You remembered when he went on diets way too often, only stopping because you promised to go on them with him. He was way more worried about you than he was about himself but you let it slide, knowing it would only make him feel uncomfortable if you forced him to speak with you or if you forced him to change completely. It would make him feel like a burden or like he’s not good enough for you, which he often feels not only with you though. He often feels not good enough for Stay and always compares himself to others, saying that he still isn’t good enough. Even though his voice, dance and appearance are perfect, he always puts himself down, which breaks your heart. Sometimes you just wanted to wrap him in a protective bubble and keep everything bad away from him. The hate, the words, the world in general. You often felt as if the world didn’t deserve an angel like Felix but sadly you couldn’t protect him from everything. So seeing him so excited warmed your heart. You prayed that nothing bad would happen at the FanCall. You kissed him goodbye and he promised to tell you every detail of their FanCalls, knowing that you’d stay off social media so that he could tell you everything in detail about his and the boys Calls. While he was away you figured you could try and make his lovely brownies, knowing he loves them. He had already prepared food for later so you figured you could try and make them. You finished only a bit before he returned, still cleaning up the kitchen after the disaster you had made. You heard the door open and beamed at Felix when he entered the kitchen, however your entire expression changed when you saw his. He looked like he was about to cry and you immediately stopped cleaning up, as you basically ran over to him, wrapping your arms around him while he leaned his body against yours, hiding his face on your neck. “Lixie, what’s going on? Are you okay? What happened?” You bombarded him with questions, the worry taking over every part of your mind as you lead him to the couch, sitting him down. You wrapped a blanket around him while you went to get him something to drink and the brownies. You placed them in front of him and gave him his drink. “Lixie talk to me. What happened?” He drank a little sip before he turned his gaze to you. The sadness in his eyes still hadn’t left and you wondered what had happened. “I’m not good enough right?” His voice was so small and broken that you wanted to cry right then and there, but you held yourself together. “What are you talking about, Lixie? You are! You are a literal angel. Stay’s sunshine. Our baby boy, everyone loves you so much. How could you even say that, let alone think that? You are perfect just like you are. What made you even question your amazing self?” With every word you uttered he teared up more before he hid his face on your neck again, embracing you softly. You did the same, letting your fingers run through his golden locks. “Lixie, did someone say something to you?” He nodded at that and you sighed. This was one reason you hated FanCalls. Even though Felix often looked forward to them, you were more concerned than happy. It often happened that something mean was said or some jokes were made. 

However, not even the members made insensitive jokes with Felix, not even Minho, as they know that he is a very sensitive person, who gets hurt easily. “Really?” His question pulled you out of your thoughts and you cupped his face in your hands as he had leaned back to look at you. “Of course. You know I’d never lie to you. I love you so much and so does Stay. Anyone who makes you feel like less is not a Stay. You see the edits Stay’s make on TikTok? They adore you, Lixie. Don’t ever question yourself.” He nodded softly, finally munching on a brownies now as you two sat down on the couch, talking about all the other FanCalls.

Seungmin:

A lot of people would say Seungmin is a little menace and you could certainly agree. You two often teased each other a lot and made fun of each other. Of course you both knew nothing was meant seriously but that’s just how you both were. However, Seungmin was completely different when he was with Stay. He always tried to be soft and kind, wanting them to know how much he loved them. It was different with you of course, as he saw you every day, but he could only see Stay on certain events and FanCalls. So he wanted to make sure that Stay knew how much they meant to him and he always tried to show it through being soft and kind with them. He always tried to smile a lot as he knew that a lot of Stay’s loved his smile. He was rather insecure about his smile and preferred to not smile too often, but he always did so because of Stay. They just made him happy and you loved it when he told you about the FanCalls. The glimmer in his eyes when he did made you extremely happy and you loved every Stay who showed him so much love. Of course you always gave him love as well, but it was different with Stay. They were one of the reasons why they always tried to give their best with every song and every performance. They all wanted to impress Stay and it made them even happier when they could do that in FanCalls as well. Seungmin had gotten up rather early today and you got slightly worried. He had returned rather late yesterday after the Event. However, he stressed how important the FanCalls were to him and that he wanted to make sure that he was on time and ready for the event. He had left early and you had seen him off, loving how happy he looked. He wasn’t smiling as he was still slightly tired, but you could see his excitement in his eyes. Seungmin often conveyed feelings without having to talk. His eyes and smile often showed what he felt and you loved every second of his happy expression. You saw it often not only live but also on old edits Stay’s made and you loved it. Seungmin often got shy and told you to stop watching those videos or stop looking at him for so long, but you couldn't help yourself. He looked even more adorable when he got flustered like that, which gave you the perfect opportunity to tease him about it, as he also always teased you about stiff like that. However, there were moments when FanCalls also were extremely annoying. It had happened sometimes and Seungmin got extremely self-conscious afterwards, which you hated a lot. He always tried to shut everyone out when that happened and didn’t want to talk about it, as he felt that he didn’t deserve to talk about it. Thankfully, he often opened up to your or one of the boys at some point, which made you feel relieved. This being one reason you were often worried when a FanCall event was approaching, today was no different. Your feelings turned out to be valid, as Seungmin came back home, looking nothing like he did in the morning. He put one bag on the table in the living room before leaving to change. You peaked into the bag and noticed he had gotten food. Thankfully you hadn’t started making dinner yet. He finally came out of the room and sat down next to you on the couch. You were slightly anxious, not knowing if you should ask him about it or leave it for now. If you asked him about it, you were scared that he’d feel even worse than he already did, but if you didn’t ask, it felt as if you weren’t interested enough to ask. “I can hear your brain fuming from over here.” Seungmin broke the silence first, getting the food out of the bag. “Mh, is it really that loud? I should work on the volume then, shouldn’t I?” You turned to smile at him, which he returned a little. “Mind telling me, what your brain is making so much noise over?” “Not at all. I was wondering what happened?”

“What do you mean?” “You look really down and I really miss seeing your beautiful smile, so mind telling me where it went?” You tilted your head and he returned his gaze to the food in front of him. “Is my smile really beautiful?” “Excuse you? Is the question a serious one or do you just want to hear me compliment you?” He chuckled at that, but shook his head. Meaning he meant it serious. So someone had probably said something about his smile. “Minnie, I literally watch videos of you smiling for hours on TikTok… You know my screen time… Most of it is me being on TikTok and watching you smile when you’re not here… You know how many likes those videos get? Stay love your smile, how can you even question that?” You pouted and he softly smiled at that. “Really?” “Yes! You should watch the edits and read the comments. Stay’s literally adore your smile. Every time I see you smile I cannot help but smile as well, no matter what mood I'm in. Your smile is literally contagious.” Now he couldn’t help but laugh softly, leaning his head against your shoulder. “Thank you.” “Nah, that won’t do it. We will watch my favourite videos of you smiling for the next hours now.” “Next time I won’t ever tell you again…” “Too late!” 

Jeongin:

You really wondered somehow how Jeongin was able to wake up energised so early. After he came back yesterday after the Event you literally spent hours talking. He told you all about the event, the awards they won, the fun they had and you were sure he hadn’t left out a single detail. Jeongin was often very excited about stuff and always wanted to tell you every detail because you couldn’t be there with him. It was obvious that your relationship was still a secret and even if it wasn’t, it would be difficult for you to go on those events with them, so Jeongin always wanted you to feel included by telling you every little detail he could remember. Even the jokes he and the boys did at the table and the stuff they talked about. You loved him for it and you were grateful for it. It made you feel included in his life and his likes. You always knew what he thought of as funny, what the boys and him talked about and other stuff. It made it easier for you to know the Jeongin you can’t see live. However, they had a FanCall today, which meant Jeongin got up early to get ready, not only because of that of course, he was also overly excited for it. Even more because they had won an award yesterday and he was happy he could talk with Stay about it today and about a lot of other stuff. He had gotten ready as fast as he could, working now on a few details where you helped him with, wanting to impress Stay with his outfit of the day. You were probably as excited as him or maybe a little less, because you don’t think anyone could be as excited as Jeongin right now, sending him off with a soft kiss. You know how much he loved FanCalls. Even though is English wasn’t perfect he loved conversing with international Stay’s. He loved all Stay’s, so being able to talk with a lot of different Stay’s made him extremely happy. However, you also often got worried. Jeongin was often mischaracterised. Some Stay’s had told him once that he looked intimidating when he didn’t smile, which made him very self-conscious about it and lead him to smile often, which sometimes was also forced, just so he didn’t look intimidating to Stay. You hated that, because you didn’t think of him like that. For you he looked cute no matter what he did, cute or handsome. And a lot of Stay’s would certainly agree with you but apparently some didn’t. You never understood why it needed to be said. It made him anxious about something and that wasn’t nice. If there wasn’t anything positive to say, than it was better to say nothing at all, instead of making the other person self-conscious. Maybe it was meant as a joke, but it still hurt Jeongin. You just hoped that he wouldn’t have any bad phone calls today. However, your wish didn’t come true when he returned home. You could see that something was bothering him. “Innie, everything okay?” He only nodded before getting a glass of water and taking a sip. He didn’t look excited at all. Normally, he would have already started telling you everything about the FanCalls the moment he walked through the door, but apparently something wasn’t right today and you noticed it immediately. “How were the FanCalls?” “Good.” “Really?” He turned to you, finally looking at you. “Yes, why?” “Because if they were really good, you would be telling me all about them. Like you always do. If you don’t want to talk about it I understand. But please don’t push it aside as if nothing happened. That’s not good for you either.” Jeongin looked down, knowing you were right. “I know… But it feels stupid.” “Your feelings aren’t stupid. No matter what you’re feeling I’m sure they’re valid feelings and you shouldn’t undermine them. It’s always better to talk about something that bothers you, but if you don’t feel ready yet or don’t want to right now, I’ll understand. Just know I’m here whenever you want to talk.” This cracked him as he walked over to you, hugging you softly. “I’m sorry.”

“You don’t have to be, Innie. I just want you to know I’m always here for you no matter what. And I understand that you sometimes might just need a second before you can talk about something.” “Thank you for understanding.” “Of course. So, do you want to talk about it?” He nodded and you two made your way towards the couch, where you sat down and he softly held your hands. “It probably has to do with the FanCall right?” He nodded again and sighed. “A fan pointed out my smile again. Sometimes I just stop smiling, because I can’t do it all the time. And that person pointed out how intimidating I look and laughed afterwards. I know it was meant as a joke but I feel a little sad about it.” “Of course you would feel sad. I mean I think a lot of Stay’s already know by now that you feel bad about things like that. And you shouldn’t take it to heart either. I know that’s difficult because it’s normal to get hurt by stuff like this but remember how many Stay’s think differently.
