YFF Hosted Annual Christmas Event in December 2023

The Yob Family Foundation (YFF) is a charitable foundation created in 2012 to help people in need by connecting them with essential services like housing and nutrition. It partners with organizations such as Metropolitan Ministries to collaboratively tackle community issues and optimize results.

Metropolitan Ministries has a mission to care for people who are homeless or at risk. It serves millions of hot meals annually while providing shelter to countless families.

On December 11, 2023, YFF partnered with Metropolitan Ministries for the 10th anniversary of the YFF/Metropolitan Ministries Christmas event. YFF held the event at ZooTampa. The event benefited children from the Patricia J. Sullivan Elementary School and the Sulphur Springs YMCA. The children explored numerous ZooTampa exhibits, enjoyed nutritious meals, interacted with mascots, received gifts, and played together.

YFF also used the event to increase awareness of issues relating to homeless families as well as children that time out of foster care. In 2023, it introduced the Jonathan Yob Foster Care to Success Scholarship as one of its initiatives. The scholarship benefits students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Supporters for the 2023 Christmas event included The Chris Godwin Foundation, several Tampa Bay Buccaneer players, the Straz Performing Arts Center, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Florida Aquarium.

If you're a foodie an avid fan of culture or just an average walker There's something that will entice you on the Tampa Riverwalk. Numerous museums and parks are found along the route. There are also stores as well as restaurants and rental of watercraft along the way. It's free to walk along and has lots of parking. It's a fantastic opportunity to enjoy all the sounds and sights of the city of Tampa.

The Tampa Riverwalk was first proposed by Mayor Bill Poe in 1975. It's an 2.5-mile-long path that is paved with a scenic design. It traverses several parks as well as hotels and restaurants. The trail connects with the Channelside District and the Tampa Heights neighborhood. You can go to many museums along the route such as The Tampa Museum of Art, the Glazer Children's Museum, and the Tampa Bay History Center. You can also hire canoes and kayaks or enjoy the scenic view from the luxury of your own boat.

It's a great place to visit. Tampa Riverwalk is a great location to explore during the daytime however, it's also a great area to enjoy during the night. It is a great place to listen to live music, take in sports , and feast on delicious Florida food. You can also rent a bicycle or scooter to take a ride along the area. The trail is also a popular jogger's trail. It is possible to catch the sunset while walking along the path.
