But these couple of years it has been a bit difficult to even go out grab a quick bite safely. So when me and my cousins met the other day on the occasion of Ganpati festival we had a small rebellion and went out for a quick snack. Couldn't had much due to the heavy lunch including of course Modaks but it was a really good change for all of us as a group. Shev Puri 🤩😍😋 🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹 Street food is always love, accept it. One can simply deny love, believe me even I can't. We'll spend hundreds or thousands in restaurants for quality food throughout our lives but we are hardly satisfied with the food. Of course with some distinct exceptions. I feel it's the rush and risk of eating while standing at some not so tidy corner on the street. Irrespective of the ambience we tend to consume tons of street food each year. Even on the lockdown there was a huge scarcity of Puries of Panipuri in the areas around us.🤭 Ohh yes, we cannot deny our love for a nice well decorated plate of spicy and sweet. Its not in our nature to ignore the aroma, you will stop at a street food vendor irrespective of your doctor's advice and the health safety concern. I know, I do it too every now and, I simply cannot resist it. I have felt alone, anxious and depressed because I couldn't get a decent plate of this while traveling, believe I have. Its not always about the cost but it's always about satisfaction when it comes to food. It is easy for some people to buy expensive super cheesy and well presented food items but believe me you guys when it comes to hunger satisfaction every one will choose Vadapav or simply home made roti-sabji over anything !! Food blogging has also been hit by this hypocrisy since the beginning, people are so busy shooting reels that they have forgotten the taste of the food in front of them. Steamed & Roasted Peanuts 🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹 So there is this 50-55 years old uncle near my home who sell these steamed and roasted peanuts. Most of the time we don't understand what he is saying, I think he is high on weed all the time. 🤭 But he always gives some awesome advice 😅. Yesterday me and my father were returning home from the city and we stopped for some, I didn't understood a single word what he was talking with my dad as I was waiting a bit far to maintain social distance but while heading back my dad was just laughing. A few seconds with someone can change your mood, can reduce your anxiety or can also change your life. I still don't know what they discussed but my father seemed pretty energized after that conversation. It doesn't matter who you are or what to are doing or what your net worth is, the only thing that matters is how you communicate with everyone. The purpose of communication might be or might not be business related all the time but it must change the thoughts in other's minds. Its located in the heart of Pune city near the Municipal corporation office. Very fee people know about this place as it's located in the basement of a residential society and a newbie might not find it in a first go. They have a pretty sorted menu which includes Chicken Tandoori/ Barbecue, Chicken Kebab and Biryani which you must preorder. One of my dearest friend who is doing really well in Australia right now introduced me this place to me a few years back. This joint was nothing but a meat shop which they later transformed into a takeaway food center. A couple of years back it was easy to meet our friends. The day is not so long when you will have to bribe police officers or maybe some government officials to just step out of your home. Believe me it's not a joke but a fact for many. People are suffering to score their daily bread and butter which has been completely at the mercy of government officials and our elected representatives. I don't what can we do about it till the next election but something needs to done immediately to save humanity moreover human life. Its difficult for foodies to stay away from certain goodies just like we can't stay away from some people on our lives. They are most valuable and important to us.
