You walk in Hermitcraft

Imagine you are walking through Keralis’ city. You live there in an apartment close to where some superheroes with hermit heads are fighting. If you look in the distance, you may be able to see the Toon Towers or even Xisuma’s bee towers. 

You walk a little more; there is a ravager head in the ground where you know, if you enter through the mouth, you can play decked out. You ignore it for now. 

You walk a little more; there is an Odea shop where you are the only customer to have ever brought something. The owner has a cool mustache and his Swedish is very Google Translator-ish, but you find him a delight. 

You walk, passing through the middle of a mansion cut in two; it smells of gunpowder and bedsheets.

You walk a little more; you fall in a sewer. There are some cats playing poker surrounded by stolen builds and radioactive waste. 

You walk a little farther into the sewer and there is a hole. You don’t fall through the hole, but it goes to the void and for some reason it smells like candy bars and crippling purposeful dead. 

You keep walking; there is a door labeled among us and you find it very sus. 

You walk some more and a bearded stranger covered in blood offers you cards; you accept it. You got a Wels, oh the joy. 

You keep walking; you find a chest full of light gray stained glass. It makes your blood boil for some reason; at least it's free!

You walk a little more; you find another bearded guy accompanied by a guy with a bandana. They want a paper with your name on it; you give it to them so they let you go.

You feel like you have been walking forever. Is that sheep looking at you? You enter a cave; it is full of machinery and, for some reason, golf equipment. 

You go outside; there is a lady giggling maniacally flipping cows upside down. You ignore her.

You walk some more. Everything was fine, but for some reason you are in Star Wars now. Better ignore it.

You walk past a sign. “Gem is great!” it says, and you can’t help but agree.

A newspaper flies and hits you in the face. “Who is the Jangler? Is the Jingler rebranding?” 

You think that as every year passes these names get stupider.

You look up; a giant eagle is flying through the sky.

You keep walking before it thinks you are food.

You walk by a man that is haggling for leaves. You walk faster before he notices you.

A man is reading nonsensical haikus while a slime and a zombie fight for their lives. You stopped questioning this a long time ago.

You keep walking; you find a giant set of tea cups and a nice lady offers you a drink.

You hear someone singing “Never Gonna Give You Up” and you feel yourself glitching through the floor. You fall into a highly decorated room; you feel the urge to call it a monstrosity even if it is beautiful. You walk through it and find a door. 

You enter the door and a very nice drowned called Amelia offers you an elytra and an aviator helmet. You accept it. You put on the aviator helmet and you look stupid. 

You walk through the open wide door; you find yourself in a zoo. There is a crooked glass rainbow and the streets are full of cod headed children. 

You sigh tiredly; time to go home. 

You grab your elytra and try to fly back to your apartment. You bonk your head on a base that yesterday was one block smaller, you swear to god. 

You glitch through the ground again, falling into TFC’s strip mine.

You wish you had a drink. Bdubs offers you milksog.

Burrito’s Guide To Survive Coronavirus Quarantine

We got to keep social distance (1 or 2 meters each other) or stay home during coronavirus outbreak so I thought I can share with y’all some things I’m gonna watch or do doing quarantine (this is a very long post, REBLOGS ARE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!).

BUT FIRST SOME RULES:

Wash your hands: do it for 20 seconds or a while, but ALWAYS do it. It prevents the virus from spreading. If you don’t have sanitizer, water and soap! The cheapest and best ally against the disease.

Buy everything you need: if you can, try to buy stuff so you can stay some days at home. If the place is crowded, go back home and come later when it’s more empty. Same as medicine.

You can go for a walk: stay at home all day can be overwhelming for your mental health, but unless the goverment puts a curfew or gets strict about it you can go walk outside for a while always respecting the 1 or 2 meters from other people and without making contact (chatting) with other people. This ain’t my rule, a CDC professional says. DON’T go visit your friends or to crowded places such as bars, restaurants, shoppings, etc. If you want to buy something, ask for delivery or take away.

If you have coronavirus sympthoms (high fever, diarrhea, cough, feeling tired, breath difficulties) DON’T GO TO THE HOSPITAL YET, CALL TO YOUR PUBLIC HEALTH ORGANISATION OR WHATEVER YOU GOT AND THEY’LL TREAT YOU.

SO YOUR LIFE IS ON QUARANTINE

Let’s say your boss or your school told you can stay at home. Okay then, you gotta prepare for some days inside *Isolation by John Lennon plays in the distance*. The first thing you think is you have to prepare a batch of series and movies to watch in order to kill some time. I’m gonna recommend you some you can find on VOD or cable, if you don’t have it don’t worry because I got you covered!

Infinity Train: a yet two seasons saga about people who got to face their problems aboard an endless train. The protagonists are joined by creatures who have different nature and help them, or not, to acknowledge their issues and leave the train. It’s on CN, it will continue on HBO Max.

The Owl House: a teen girl who daydream a lot was going to be sent to a down-to-earth camp but then she crosses a portal to the Boiling Isles, a magical world where she is taken care by a powerful Owl witch/saleswoman and her adorable demon. Lots of fantasy, some action scenes and many many puns. It’s on Disney Channel, it’ll be on Disney+ in some weeks.

Primal: Genndy Tartakovsky delighted us with the alliance of a caveman and a dinosaur, two rivals in a wild world who ally after facing a devastating event. It IS brutal and beatiful, has no dialogue and keeps you watching closely. Five final episodes are set to premiere this year. It’s on Adult Swim, maybe on HBO Max.

Tuca and Bertie: for the critics, one of 2019 best shows. For Netflix, a show that had to be cut off because the studio unionized. Two friends in their late 20s face changes in their lives: from living with a boyfriend and plan a life to look a way to stay sober and get a job. Deals with trauma, ptsd, anxiety and more harsh moments very well. In fact, the creator is a vital part of Bojack Horseman! It’s on Netflix.

Aggretsuko: red pandas are cute eh? But what about a antopomorphic red panda who releases her anger and frustrations by singing at a karaoke? This awesome comedy by Sanrio & Netflix is one of anime’s big hits lately. Like T&B, has a good handle of adult problems but not going too deep just to not break the comedy. You can watch it on Netflix.

Regular Show: yeah-uuuuhhhh! Eight seasons, a movie, five Halloween specials and some others. The adventures of a racoon and a blue jay with their co-workers/friends that relies on psychadellia and 80s and 90s nostalgia. It begins good, gets better, then lowers the quality (they were producing the movie at the same time tho, give some credit) and with and after the movie ends awesome. It’s on CN web, dunno if on Hulu (US only) and proably on HBO Max.

Evangelion: it’s a classic at this point, but addictive to me because I end rewatching the series or the final movie many times. A post apocalyptic future where the world has to deal with strange creatures known as the Angels and a boy with lots of traumas has to get on a mecha to save the humankind. All the characters have traumas and issues, the interaction between them or the action makes it worth. The End of Evangelion is a movie that ends the unfinished series. Warning: at some point it becomes very twisted and there are scenes which are too much violent. Viewer disclosure etc. It’s on Netflix worldwide.

Steven Universe & SU Future: this is the tale of the gem boy who ends a galactical tyranny and brings democracy to the universe. A acclaimed show that broke through many topics like gender, identity, ptsd, relationships and many more. Besides it’s got the best scores of the Milky Way and beyond thanks to the talent of Rebecca Sugar, Aivi Tran and Surasshu. And the actors and acrtresses! I don’t forget the movie, a musical that is an introduction to the epilogue: Shippuden Future. The show is available on CN and will be on HBO Max. Worldwide? No news.

Adventure Time: something that began as an innocent boy and a magical dog having adventures in a post apocalyptic world turns into the journey of Finn Metens from childhood to almost adulthood. There is a lot of fantasy and comedy you enjoy, but there are dark moments and serious ones through S6 that find a balance with early seasons form S7 to the finale. It also has great music, memorable moments and colaborations. And guess what? There is going to be a special set to premiere on HBO Max in some weeks! You got plenty of time to catch up or rewatch before that on CN or only (!!) S5 on Netflix.

Final Space: a dude tries to save the universe with their friends, where we can find his love interest, a cat-man and his kitten son, a intersexual alien, an AI then robot that is the best of them, two particular siblings and an annoying bot that prevents insanity that makes you insane. Crazy adventures in space, lots of situations, sadness, an evil smol bean who is a space emperor, a dude who looks for revenge, space deities that can destroy the universe. Is this a lot or info? It is not, because there is more and you can watch it on TBS, Adult Swim and Netflix (the world except US).

Rick and Morty: the most powerful, smartest human in the universe has adventures with his grandson. It’s awesome, but has a very toxic fanbase. Anyway, you can enjoy it on Adult Swim or Netflix (which is up to date!) and the rest of S4 is set someday.

Bojack Horseman: a Hollywood satire about human relationships, fame, traumas with a pour of comedy. Alongside the previous series, the best adult animation of the decade. Sadly cut by Netflix because the studio unionized (see T&B), said by both the creator and Aaron Paul. You can watch the six amazing seasons on that platform.

I’m not an animated movies guy, but here are three I really like and you can watch:

Porco Rosso: a handsome Italian combat aviator turned magically to a pig has a face off with an American pilot hired by pirates to get rid of him before WWII in Fascist Italy. It’s entertaining and, like every Ghibli movie, nice to watch. It’s on Netflix and will be on HBO Max for US.

Lego Batman Movie: Batman is depressed and has to get over it. It’s wacky and has lots of comedy. Plus Will Arnett is top 3 Batman. On Netflix (Latinamerica).

Spiderverse: Oscar winner movie about your friendly neighbour Peter Parker Miles Morales. Miles sees Spiderman die and feels bad after being transfered to a private school. Then a radioactive spider from a Fisk compound bites Miles and he’s Spiderman... among other dimensions’ Spiderpeople: Gwen, Peni, Peter Parker, Noir and Peter Porker. It’s visually amazing. On US it’s on Netflix (I guess), on Latinamerica on HBO.

Some interesting live actions I watched lately

Atlanta: Donald Glover is Earn, a dude who struggles to find a job for her baby girld and sees an opportunity when his cousin, Paper Boi, has a hit and uses him to make his cos famous. Sometimes a comedy, sometimes a social satire with touches of drama. And all protagonists are now big shots, like Zazie Beetz, Brian Tyree Henry or Lakeith Stanfield. There are two seasons and two seasons set for 2021 (2022 possible beacuse of coronavirus). It’s on FX, Hulu (US) and Netflix (world)

Avenue 5: this is brand new. On 2060 space cruises are a thing, and one cruise (the Avenue 5) has an accident that leaves the crew and passangers stranded for years. The captain (Hugh Laurie) has to solve this shit with a bunch of incompetent crew, bosses like Judd (Josh Gad), except one female engeneer who is very smart. Lots of crazy things happen in this series from the creator behind Veep. It’s on HBO (it’s free in the US!).

Peaky Blinders: it has some years but damn it’s epic. A gang from Birmingham makes their way to the top during the late 1910s after the Great War and extends through the 1920s. S5 is right in the ascension of fascism in Britain. ALL THE CAST acts spectacular, names like Cillian Murphy, Tom Hardy, Anna Taylor-Joy and a long etc. But my fave is Paul Anderson, that ultra violent junkie Arthur Shelby is splendid, then is Tommy and aunt Pol, the baddest badass woman in Britain. Blinders is going to have seven seasons, there are two left. You can watch it on BBC or Netflix.

Sex Education: speaking of Britain, excellent teen comedy. Horny, doubtful teenagers going through those hard years. Stories of sex (duh!), abuse situations, abortion, there are gay relationships either, Gillian Anderson! It’s on Netflix, go go go!

Watchmen: despite not having Alan Moore on board, Damien Lindeloff did a tremendous job with the comic. Way better and less misleading than Zack Snyder’s 2009 film, Watchmen is again at the gates of the world’s end (like today) and handles the problem of racism and white supremacy quite well. Just 9 episodes, but worth to watch. On HBO.

CAOS: Sabrina the Teenage Witch is over. Warner and Netflix made a revival of the Archie Comics character and brought her to XXI Century. But gorier, hornier, dark and magical than the nice 90s sitcom. Sabrina Spellman goes from a doubtful teen who has to decide if she has to be a witch or a powerless woman to rule Hell. How she does it? Find out on Netflix! Note: S1 and 2 take some episodes to start properly. Don’t get bored too easy.

Introducing Stremio. It’s an open source platform where you can watch shows, movies or even live TV on Windows, Linux, Apple or Android. You create an account, install some addons and start looking for what you want to watch.

Stremio is based on torrents, you should install addons from many known torrent sites. So maybe you find an old show, but there aren’t many seeds to watch. And it could be frustraiting, so make sure there are people sharing so you can watch it.

Cheeseball Cake

Ever wondered how you too can make a cake with cheeseballs on it?

I mean, no, you probably didn't, because a) who thinks of these things and b) it's pretty obvious that you can just...get a cake and put cheeseballs on it. But never fear! Just in case you wanna do things the hard way, I've got a recipe for how to make your own!

I love baking and wanted to make something cool to bring to my friend's house for when we watch the Wanted special together, but I’ve already made most of the obvious choices.

And then I decided. Remember when the most bizarre Gem Fusion we'd seen was Alexandrite? Steven was making a CHEESEBALL CAKE while on the phone with Connie planning the dinner with her parents.

So I did it.

The thing is, you can honestly use ANY cake recipe, and the cake is essentially yellow cake with vanilla frosting, so this is basically going to turn into a basic baking lesson. But follow along below for a detailed tutorial!

Equipment: 

Three round 9-inch cake pans, a small bowl and a large bowl, a fork, and measuring cups. Hand mixer optional. And you might want to have some wire racks for cooling.

Ingredients:

You will need flour, baking powder, salt, butter, sugar, vanilla extract, eggs, and milk.

If you hate yourself and want to make your own frosting (more on this later), you will need something to pipe frosting, an icing knife, slightly more butter, and some powdered sugar.

And let's not forget the most important ingredient.

CHEESEBALLS

Directions:

First, let's make the cake. You will want to grease and flour three round 9-inch cake pans.

If you don't know what that means, it means you spread shortening or butter very thinly into the pan (the sides too), then sprinkle flour in and tilt it around over the sink or a bin until the surface is coated. 

Do not skip this. Your cakes need to slide out of the pans after they cook, and if you don't grease and flour, they WILL stick.

Next, mix dry ingredients together in a small bowl.

☆ Flour: 2½ cups / 11.25 ounces

☆ Baking powder: 2½ teaspoons / .3 ounce

☆ Salt: ½ teaspoon / .1 ounce

Set that aside and get a larger bowl. Next you'll need these:

☆ Unsalted butter: 2/3 cup / 10.5 tablespoons / 5.5 ounces

☆ Sugar: 1¾ cups / 12 ounces

☆ Vanilla extract: 1½ teaspoons / .25 fluid ounce

Mix the butter. 

Whip it until it's fluffy and add in the sugar and the vanilla extract.

You can use a mixer, but a hand mixer isn't recommended after fluffing the butter because the mix is thick. Use a fork to whip it once the sugar goes in.

Add two large eggs, mixing the first in before adding the second.

Then you'll be adding the dry mixture you set aside ALTERNATELY with milk.

☆ Whole milk: 1.25 cups / 10.5 fluid ounces

This means you add a little dry mix, mix it completely in, and then add some milk and mix THAT completely in. Then a little more dry, and a little more milk, until it looks creamy.

It should be thick and not runny, but thin enough to pour.

Distribute it evenly into three pans. You can use the back of a measuring cup to spread it in smoothly--you want it flat when it bakes, so if you spread it AWAY from the center toward the edges, it will bake flatter.

Preheat your oven to 375° Fahrenheit / 190° Celcius / Gas mark 5. Put the cakes on a center rack and bake for about 30 minutes. (Check at 25 to make sure they aren't burning.)

Now, while they're baking, you could make the frosting, or just do your dishes and clean up your mess, you slob. Don't lick the batter bowl. Raw eggs can hurt you. It's rare but it's not just an urban legend and I know someone it happened to.

When the cakes are done, turn them onto wire racks to cool. If you are a lucky little butt they will slide right out, but you may have to run a knife around the edges.

Do not leave these cakes where they may be disturbed by pets, bugs, or evil siblings.

Frosting:

Now. I will say here that you probably don't want to make your own frosting. Seriously, it is a pain. Just buy a freaking can of frosting. Steven's cake looks like plain white icing, so unless you are vegan/have food sensitivities or you need to flavor it, making frosting at home is unnecessary and it's lots of work for little payoff. There is no reason to make your own unless you want to hate your life.

Like me.

Ingredients:

☆ Butter: 1/3 cup / .33 cup / 5.33 tablespoons/ 2.7 ounces

☆ Powdered sugar / Confectioner's sugar: 4½ cups / 20.5 ounces

☆ Whole milk: ¼ cup / 2.1 fluid ounces

☆ Vanilla extract: 1¼ teaspoons / .26 fluid ounces

Directions:

Beat the butter until it's fluffy.

Then sift the sugar into the butter.

Let me tell you something. Do NOT skip this step. Frosting with unsifted sugar is lumpy and gross. When I was a wee foolish baker who thought skipping steps was cool, I found this out. Don't be me.

Just go buy frosting, seriously.

If the sugar measurement sounds like a lot, THAT'S BECAUSE IT IS. There is a HUGE amount of sugar in frosting. That's practically all it is! You can use a specialized sifter--I have one, it was dirty--or just use a mesh pasta strainer. I recommend using a spoon to rub the sugar through instead of jiggling it. It's WAY less messy. If static builds up, that's normal!

Sift about half the sugar in, mix in the milk and vanilla, and then stir in the other half of the sugar.

It should be creamy and not runny. If it is too thick, you CAN add tiny amounts of milk to thin it, but think hard about whether you need to before you do. If it gets too runny YOU HAVE TO ADD MORE SUGAR AGAIN and you do NOT want that.

The option is always open to buy a can of dang frosting.

Finishing the cake:

Now. The moment of truth has come. DON'T RUIN IT BY TRYING TO FROST THE CAKE BEFORE IT IS COOL. It must be COMPLETELY COOL when you frost or the frosting will RUN. You do NOT want that. Refrigerate the cakes to be sure if you have to. I swear if one of you makes this and jumps the gun to frost too soon I WILL FIND YOU

Put a (COOLED) cake layer on its presentation plate. It doesn't have to be fancy, but I wanna be like Steven.

Put a THIN layer of frosting. Just enough to taste good and stick it together with the next layer.

Now pipe some frosting right around the edge. If you have a pastry bag then use it, but you can actually do this with a plastic bag jammed with frosting and a corner cut off!

Then squiiiish the next layer on like a hamburger. You want frosting squeezing out like Steven's.

Then repeat. Frost the second layer, pipe around the edges, and add layer three.

Now! If you notice on Steven's, there is no frosting coating the top layer. There's just a ring of frosting he appears to be sticking cheeseballs to. So you need to just do the frosting ring on top.

Cheeseballs:

And then the fun part. Put cheeseballs on while you talk to your best friend on the phone about how your guardians are magic, not radioactive.

But I mean...are we done? Is this all?

We never find out. Steven never finishes his cake decoration.

But it cannot be JUST A LONE CHEESEBALL, can it????

I decorated mine assuming I know where he might've been going with this.

If the snack sushi with cheese puffs and the together breakfast with popcorn are any indication, this will taste way better than people anticipate it will.

Guess my friend and I will find out!

PURPLE KYBER

(On one hand I felt it’d be a bit cheap to just make a Jedi a kyber, especially since it’s not a real ‘gem’/’crystal’, but the only other canon purple gems are Amethyst. Aside from our lovely lil girl, Amethyst soldiers are supposed to be tall and beefy (like we saw in the Famethyst episode). Braig’s in good shape, but he’s not tall, and he’s not a body builder, so.)

So, I have some headcanons for kybers! 

- They can come in a whole range of colours. Some can even be more than one! Bi-coloured Kybers are a little less common, but they do happen. Usually the older they are, the more likely to be multi-coloured, or to change colour! That’s a possibility, too, due to the chemical nature of the stones! The most common colours are green or blue, so green-to-blue or blue-to-green are the most common colour changes, and green-blue are the most common combos for bi-coloured (So, Luke and Obi might be colour changers, Krell would be blue-green bicolour, etc). Possible kyber colours are blue, green, purple, red, white, black, grey/silver, gold, bronze, orange, yellow, pink, and brown, with multiple shades of each colour.

- Kybers are technically pretty rare, as they can only be formed out of specific planets. They are pretty high on the clarity scale, but they’re usually higher-ranked soldiers or strategists in Homeworld’s armies. 

- Kybers are more likely to have some kind of -kinesis than other kinds of gems– Like Ruby’s pyro, Sapphire’s cryo, Peridot’s fero, Rose’s floral, and Yellow’s electro? It’s not ‘all kybers have powers’ but it’s pretty frequent. Especially when they get older. 

- Kybers are very very VERY energised gems (probably call them radioactive, if that was more of a thing in SU), but freshly-formed Kybers have very hard times controlling this at first, which, while it makes them pretty savage warriors, might also cause them to crack if they exert themselves too much. To prevent this, Kyber soldiers are given stabiliser collars - like the opposite of destabilisers - that stop them from splintering themselves, and are usually paired with a more experienced Kyber to coach them through learning how to keep their excess energy under wraps. It is this energy which eventually might manifest as a ___kinesis, but not necessarily. Usually, it just means they’re very strong, with heightened reflexes, even for a gem. By the first century of kyber life, they’ve usually had the collar off for a little while, if not by the first 50 years. They can be turned off by the HUBs the Diamond’s pearls have, and it sucks for them, but, hey, it keeps the Kybers in line :)))

- Kybers can come in a couple of cuts, but star-cut is pretty common. 

- Red kybers have MORE ENERGY THAN NOT (and it is possible to age into a red kyber), but it makes things harder to control and it HURTS esp when the diamonds shut the collars off (and also a lot of ppl don’t like the red kybers because they are usually angry and possibly more violent due to the excess suckage in their lives)

- ENERGY WEAPONS. Kybers can vent that excess energy by summoning energy-weapons. Sort of somewhere between lightsabers and the electrified whip Holly Blue Agate summoned. This purple kyber? He summons an energised three-piece staff (I didn’t want to give him another sword-based weapon, since Pearl and Rose both use swords, even if they’re not their summoned weapons, so, three-piece). 

- So I was wondering how to explain the fact that this Kyber is male-presenting, even though Rebecca Sugar confirmed that gems, being space rocks, have no concept of gender, but present as female; This lil’ guy popped on over to Earth, and thought to himself that being a ‘man’ looked pretty neat. He asked his mentor to poof him and came back as the form above, so. In this verse, Kyber is transmasculine agender, uses he/him/his pronouns. 

- He absolutely joined Rose and the Crystal Gems during the Gem rebellion. He fell in love with Earth, too. I don’t think he’d run into them after the war - he’s scattered somewhere else. Not shattered, wanna make that clear, he’s just in a different part of the world. Don’t know if he’d even know them well. If anything, he’d only know of them because he vaguely knew Rose, and, like Bismuth, wouldn’t know who Amethyst is (but he’d probably think she’s dang rad, if they met). 

- He reformed after the war, where he got poofed and somehow managed to avoid being shattered, and went from tiny little puff (full body) to the mildly bitter older soldier who just misses his mentor. 

- His mentor also cut his collar off to prevent it from being used against Kyber in the war; Kyber’s mentor had ditched his millennia ago when he got his energy under control as a younger Kyber. 

- I was wondering how to incorporate his scar into the mix, when gems can choose how their body works, when I was wondering what would happen if there were superficial scratches on gems - not cracks, like Lapis or Amethyst suffered, but just a little nick - would that affect the light-projection of a gem’s form? So I was gonna just draw the scar in as some kind of like, glitching? But when I was scribbling it in it kind of looked like a geode, so I just ran with it. (So yeah that scar is on pretty much any form he’s in)

- I would also like to mention that the scratch on his gem has oxidised; It’s not nearly as dark as I drew it up there, but it is a bit darker than the rest of the gem. I just wanted you to know where it was :D

- Bottom right: Kyber post-war pretty much doesn’t care, like, well. Fight me. I might die. Might not. Whatever. But pre-war, he was scared of many things without his mentor. With his mentor, he’d be fine; but without him, he would be scared. D: He was smol and Earth was strange and CORRUPTED GEMS WERE AWFUL PLEASE HELP MENTOR KYBER IT’S DOING ME A FRIGHTEN

- He’s not a healer in this verse. Lapis seemed genuinely shocked Steven could heal, Eyeball Ruby said that Rose Quartz was the only one who could heal (though given that she was trying to convict Steven/Rose, that’s a grain of salt right there), so I’m guessing it’s a pretty rare, special thing. So until we know more about that, I’m saying it’s too rare a thing, so Kyber here can’t heal. Also, if he could, he’d heal his own gem, probably. (Rose’s healing seems to be a lot less mentally/physically draining than Force Healing, so.)

They ran to find rose quartz but when they found her, they were turned away. Rose did not understand their nature and was afraid they would hurt the planet she was fighting to protect. Andi was furious and now holds a hate towards Rose. Hali was healed in secret by Rhodinite and when Rose learned they were not dangerous unless they lost stability, she offered an apology. Andi still hates Rose but hates the diamonds more for almost shattering Hali. Okay, this has been bugging me for a while, and I need to weigh in. The way the SU team handled Bismuth was atrocious, but the takeaway wasn’t the “fighting back makes you just as bad as bad guys uwu” dreck that I see a lot of people repeating. (You’d think the fact that they still justified a thousand-year *war* would’ve been a hint).

For starters, shattering a gem isn’t the same as killing a human. Remember that whole arc with the shards? Gems persist beyond shattering in a fate objectively worse than non-existence. It doesn’t kill them, it sprays them with *radioactive fallout*. The writers didn’t make Bismuth want to kill the Homeworld Gems to get justice for her fallen friends, they made her want to vent anger and seek *vengeance* for them in the most horrific way imaginable.

Go ahead and hate what they did to Bismuth (I sure as hell do!) or hate *them* for it, but for fuck’s sake, do it *for the right reasons.*

A gem colonized on the rebel Earth is more likely to feel resentment towards Homeworld. A gem created on Homeworld will be pushed to despise Earth and the Crystal Gems.), the Moon, Darkness (This list is so far unacceptable. Go sit in a hole and think about what you’ve done.), homeworld gems, etc. (Adding “etc.” to your OC’s list of liked things is incredibly vague. We as the readers have no idea what this could possibly mean. Does she like these things and everything else? Are there a few things you didn’t mention? We might never know.) Species: Gem Bio: I was created at the same moment as the universe itself. (die.) 5 gems, made in unison, fused instantly. (”fused instantly” If the first 5 gems ever created were fused instantly, then Homeworld would not have banned the concept of fusion when not in battle. Cross-gem fusion would not be frowned upon. This completely clashes with the show, and that’s not good because this isn’t an AU.) Nobody knew what futures lied ahead of them, as they accepted true fate. Black Spinel, Black Onyx, Black Diamond, Black Jade, Black Sapphire. (All of these are black. Why? More color would possibly mean a brighter, more original design. No one needs your dull sadness here, shoo shoo.) They were not 5 gems anymore, but a single entity. Moon. There are held secrets of Black Spinel that keeps Black Onyx up at night, a damaged heart that Black Sapphire prefers to keep hidden. A warm smile covers the deepest memories in Black Diamond's mind, The prettiest eyes have cried the most tears, shed by none other than Black Jade. Black Spinel... As soulless as she is... Is somewhat the most pained of them all. Her past haunting her at all times, trying to maintain balance, as all attempts of finding herself end in vain. Underestimated, thrown away, a quintette of destroyed voices. (I love how the creator is trying to sound deep and meaningful with their dark backstory, but their writing is just garbage. They are a fusion, and they have been since their creation. Why is it that each one is completely miserable again? Black Spinel’s secrets can’t keep Black Onyx up at night, they’ve been one and the same since birth. When you share a body since the day you were created, you can’t have secrets or haunting pasts that others don’t know about. You’re contradicting yourself.) Through all their pain, they remain strong. Brave. Nobody stands in their way once they fuse together, into the powerful Homeworld Leader you see today. (The Homeworld leaders are all singular gems. None of them are fusions.) Nobody currently knows of her real past.(Giant diety, created at the same moment as the universe itself, yeah, that’s a real easy secret to hide. No one may ever know.) (This all seems pretty overpowered if you ask me.) Friends: The River Snake , I call her River (Again, this makes little sense. So the River Snake is a person? A gem? I can’t figure it out.) Fusion Dance Style: Graceful, probably has spins included, hard to explain. (No, as in what’s the dance style. Fusion dances take after dance styles. You’re just lazy.)
