Super simple tip I came up this over the weekend on how to NOT waste sprinkles. . I only had little less then half a bottle of red sprinkles for over 3 dozen minis. So I poured it in a bowl and just DIPPED the cookies in it. . It really cuts down on sprinkles falling off after baking and all the wasters sprinkles when shaking over the cookies on the pan. . I'm about to start a new project that means a whole lot to someone else with a hook that means the WORLD to me. 😔 . Most won't read this and that's ok but you may not know but my grandmother taught me how to crochet 18 years ago and when she did she gave me the teal I-9 hook that's in the yarn. When I got it is was just as dull as it is now because it was the only I-9 hook she ACTUALLY used all the time and I used it all the time (red hook there to show the difference from the new and the old). Then she passed away about 6 years ago and I've not touched it since. 😔😔 But I've decided to use it with this project and I'm actually happy to do so. I miss her very much but this will be me putting my love for her into the love a mother has for the daughter she bought this blanket for. . Ok well enough with the feels and on to the crocheting. Just added ANOTHER mermaid to my daughter's collection. She's named it Ryleigh, after herself. It's what she asks for when gifts are involved. I made it a POINT to make this one look like her because some of her recent comments have been showing signs of a lack of confidence. So what's a mom to do...
