My partner and I took old sugarface Floyd to the beach

Floyd is a diehard swimming fan, and during this heat wave we knew he would be safe from getting too hot. We didn’t bring Zeke because he doesn’t reliably get in the water, and we didn’t want to risk him getting too hot.

Floyd swam so hard that he needed help getting back into the truck! He has been sleeping all morning 🥱😴

Hours of swimming for the old man was a lot of work!

I just saw everything youve been posting, I'm so sorry for your loss. I know the pain all to well and I'm so sorry you have to go through this. He lived a full and happy life that's more than some of our fur sons get. Know in 6 months time, you won't cry at the thoughts you have of him but your heart will always miss/love him. You will cherish the others more because of it and your heart will always have him. Again I'm sorry for the loss of a good boy. Maybe my son is running around with him to.

It’s been easier to endure this ‘goodbye’ than it was my Gibbys, probably for just that reason. Gibbs was so young and Mickey lived a full one. Talk about pawprints on my heart, though.

It’s very quiet around here without my “Brother Bear”. The other two good-bois are adapting as we all are.

I like to believe those of us who are connected (even virtually), our pets are connected across at the beautiful place. Your boy probably met him along with Harlee, Gibbs, a good good bacon boi Reggie, and his sis princess Mercy (some doggos I never met irl but grew to love), and so many other loves, to frolic joyfully.

On June 25 2023 Bubby also known as SugarFace celebrated her 17th birthday... On Tuesday June 27 2023 at approximately 4 Am SugarFace unexpectedly passed away. My heart is broken, my spirit crushed and my emotions shattered. I am grateful for the 17 years....I love you and I miss you Bubby
