rage quit watching a TV show tonight which was a first. louis litt was genuinely getting like. the misogyny was showing a little too clearly . and nobody was doing shit about it. so we left it in the middle of like 4.11 or something we will come back perhaps tomorrow. season 4 is really not doing it for me at all

I've still only watched the first 2 seasons of suits but brooke your suitsposting gives me LIFE. Like this is not the kind of show I watched and was like "yeah, tumblr would love this" but your posts are my favorite part of suits and you're right about everything

since ive been suitsposting for the last few days its time for a confession. when i was in middle school i thought suits was the same show as how i met your mother. im not good with the faces of white people to whom im not emotionally attached so whenever i saw anyone watching suits i just assumed that it was a scene from how i met your mother. i thought jason segel was harvey and neil patrick harris was mike ross. this was an assumption that went uncorrected for two years.

lets rank suits 2011-2019 seasons like theyre taylor swift albums. i think my ranking is season 5, 6, 1, 8, 4, 3, 2, 7. i havent seen s9 yet but im guessing id put it over s7 lol

season 5 is the best it just is i think my favorite episode ever is tick tock (harvey breaking down in donnas apartment saying "its my goddamn fault...... might jsut be my favorite moment in the whole show) plus it has 5x10 faith and the tension of will mike go to prison? and the trial

season 6 mike in prison arc my beloved. plus 6x12 the painting harvey mommy issues episode!!

season 1 so fun so cute theyre all young and the show is still that fun monster of the week format they had in the early seasons

season 8 im not done with yet BUT i love it!!!!! i really really like the addition of alex and samantha

season 4 loved the fucked up love square between mike and rachel and logan and harvey. and 4x15 intent CRAZYASS episode! "you know i love you donna" OHHHH

season 3 bookended by my one of my favorite opener + finale pair ... it starts with harvey yelling about mike betraying him and ends with mike screaming in an interrogation room hed never give harvey up .... chefs kiss

season 2 tbh i dont remember much if anything that happened in s2 but i remember thinking the show hit a bit of a sophomore slump. but 2x10 high noon obviously iconic episode!

season 7 was boring . did anything happen in s7. OHHHHHH but donna kissed harvey cus he was with paula that made me shake and cry and go what the fuccccccckkkkk that was dope

saddest thing about season 8 is that mike is gone and harvey is. mostly unaffected by it. he misses him sure but he’s not falling down on his knees. harvey in season 8 is lonely of course but it’s not that wretched all encompassing grief you’d expect to see if someone watched the love of their life marry someone else and then move 3000 miles away. it’s more just like, he misses his friend and it’s a bummer. because like before, mike quits to be an investment banker and harvey completely freaks out, donna moves DOWN THE HALL and it causes panic attacks because it triggered his deep seeded fear of abandonment, but mike moves ACROSS THE COUNTRY and harvey basically shrugs it off. and yeah, harvey’s healthier now and he can deal with things better but i mean. harvey had a bigger reaction to LOUIS having a baby and being afraid it will mean louis will leave, than he did about mike actually leaving. and its just sad. AND DONT GET ME WRONG, I THINK ITS COMPLETELY IN CHARACTER things are just different now (and mike irrevocably changed ruined things between them with the prison case) but it’s just sad to watch. they’re barely even friends any more, and definitely not lovers. the love was there, but it just stopped at some point. how did it end indeed
