Thanks so much!!! I loved loved loved Moonlight Drawn by Clouds, and I never thought I'd love another drama again until I came across Princess Weiyoung and General and I. And then I felt the same way looking for new dramas, so bless you for the recommendations!!!

No problem, Anon! I’ve watched more historical Cdramas than Kdramas though, so I cannot exactly offer more recs on the latter [my favorite historical Kdramas are Queen Seondeok, The Princess’ Man, Empress Ki, and we all knew what happened with those three haha]. Sungkyungkwan Scandal has a happy ending and it has my favorite actors Park Min-young and Song Joong-ki, but I hate Park Yoo-chun with a passion so it’s not exactly a favorite of mine. On Cdramas, I think many Jin Yong novel drama adaptations have good versions? I liked the The Legend of the Condor Heroes (2008) with Ariel Lin and Hu Ge, but maybe that’s just me, though I haven’t watched The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber [the Condor Heroes trilogy novels are good though]On Jdramas, I’ve had enough of watching Japanese history in anime/VNs so I refrain from watching Taiga dramas as much as I can. I haven’t finished this yet (I haven’t finished getting the eps) but Yae no Sakura is a great drama [I loved Moribito better though] though I saw Haruka Ayase’s versatility here as an actress :)

I'm a fan of Park Min Young since Sungkyungkwan Scandal and though I haven't seen all of her works, she's one of my favorite Korean actors. I love how she has chemistry with almost anyone. I am watching FLaW even though I don't like noona romance because she has chemistry with Song Kang who's about 7 or 8 years younger.

But FLaW is really pushing the boundaries of her likeableness. I'm very close to hating Hakyung. I spent most of episode 1 and episode 5 being annoyed with her character, so much so that I wanted to drop this series. My love for PMY is the only thing that kept me watching. Yes, eventually they try to redeem her character by having someone else explain her POV, like what the previous director and Seokho did. But really, all it did was make Hakyung look like a bad leader. She can't communicate her intentions properly to her teammates. It's so bad that she looks like a power tripping director most of the time. They established Siwoo as this genius forecaster and everytime, Hakyung does the opposite without explaining things properly, that it feels like she's just pulling ranks. Maybe senior forecaster Donghan is better for the job.

I really enjoy watching the techincal side of the weather forecasting and I also love watching the romance bloom between the leads. But I really really don't like watching Hakyung's bossy scenes.

I think I saw a clip of PMY's interview saying Hakyung did a lot of things wrong. I couldn't agree more. Just the fact that she's dating a subordinate is already a big NO in real life. HR should be notified IMO. With the power imbalance, their setup could easily lead to abuse or favoritism. One of them should at least transfer to another team.

Maybe that's how this story will end, one of them leaving the Team or the Bureau. TBH, if they're gonna give us a happy ending (which I really hope they would), I'd rather see Hakyung and Siwoo working separately. (That's the issue that I had with WWWSK. I wish Miso left her post as a secretary of Youngjoon and had her own career away from her boyfriend/husband.)

Anyway, I hope tonight's episode is better (though the trailer looks like they're gonna split up.. it's earlier than I predicted lol. But then again, I didn't expect they'd sleep together on the 2nd episode and started dating on then 4th. I guess it's not unreasonable to see them break up on the 6th).

Healer

Starring Ji Chang Wook & Park Min Young, this 20 episode KDrama gave me a roller coaster feeling with mixed emotions of action, comedy and of course, romance. My friend Nikki, suggested this drama a long time ago, since she is a big fan of Ji Chang Wook, but I didn’t pay attention to it since number one, I don’t even know who Ji Chang Wook is, and number two, the title itself “Healer” gave me an impression of doctors, aiding sick people, etc. But I proved myself all wrong while getting myself swept away watching it on a marathon mode, even on a weekday, office day. Hahahaha

As I was scrolling through Viu, searching for something interesting to watch, while lying on a hot Sunday, with dysmenorrhea attacking my whole body, I remembered what Nikki kept on suggesting me to watch. It is the Healer. I searched for it, and for the first episode, I was not impressed at all. It was boring, which made me pause the video, and went to sleep since I was not able to appreciate it. When I woke up, I decided to give it a chance, saying that I would just finish one episode, and if I won’t enjoy it, I’ll message up Nikki, and say it’s not worth my time though. But before the episode ends, there was a scene that finally got my attention, the characters of Ji Chang Wook and Park Min Young finally met!! And this was the beginning of my addiction to this Kdrama.

Power. This is where the drama revolves to. Being powerful, that will give you all the fame and money, but will make you forget the most precious things in life.

Honestly, I want to skip the morals since what I really want in this drama is the coolness of Ji Chang Wook. He’s so handsome here being the “Healer”! I swear! That is why I regret not listening to my friend a long time ago! Hahahaha Of course, I also adore Park Min Young, making me realize how lucky she is, being partnered with the great actors in the industry. Lee Min Hon (City Hunter), Song Joong Ki (Sungkyungkwan Scandal), Yo Seung Ho (Remember), Park Seo Joon (What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim), and this, Ji Chang Wook (Healer). Please also do note how Seo Joong Ho is a clingy boyfriend here, which gave me just a slight turn off, well because I just like him to be his cool side of being the Healer. Hehe

This drama is indeed, superb! I might be watching it when the time comes that I miss Ji Chang Wook, but for now, I have many dramas that are lined up: Suspicious Partner & K2. All starring Ji Chang Wook oppa!!

Bus Scene - this is where I gained my interest in this show.

Rooftop Scene - right after their disguise, they had a mini date in a rooftop where Park Bong Soo confessed his feelings to his sunbae, but Chae Young Shin rejected him in a nice way, saying that there’s still no room left in her heart, of course because of Healer, which is also him. I was watching this scene while I’m in the CR of our office, during CR break. The feeeels.

im not Big into kdrama but i LOVED sungkyungkwan scandal (historical, girl dresses up as a boy to go to school/save her family, rooms with two guys who go to the li shang school of Oh Shit Im Gay Now, Plot Happens) all of these sound very good, i’m gonna have to check them out!

Tenka! I am here to rec some drama. Sungkyungkwan Scandal - historical, gender bender, romcom My Girl - romcom classic and lee dongwook stars on this one Playful Kiss - It's one of my faves Master's Sun is also good. It's romcom with a mix of horror. Reply series but I personally like Reply 1997 bec I'm a kpop fan. I want to recommend some movies too. Miracle Cell No.7, Werewolf Boy, Sunny (you should check this one out), Hello Ghost, Windstruck I HOPE YOU'LL FIND THE KIM SHIN IN YOUR LIFE.

Cool! I’ve seen My Girl (years and years ago tbh, friend loaned it to me on DVD! LOL) ! Will check out Playful Kiss (though I tried watching a bit of the taiwanese one when I was a kid and didn’t super get into it??? but will keep it in mind!) and Master’s Sun :o  Never heard of the Reply series so thanks!  As well as the movies, I defs will watch Werewolf boy because so many kind anons have been raving about it to me.Reverse rec, have you seen My Sassy Girl ! (Old movie, I watched it many years ago but it’s stuck with me) and The Classic (This is the movie my korean dormies rec’d me and literally sat me down and forced me to watch, -_- for some reason, anyway, has a sick OST , very famous, very acoustic, very guitar wow, and that infamous rain jacket scene haha ), Pieta (actually maybe don’t watch this one it’s really dark) and Dodookdeul! (Korean oceans 11, fun movie, again, watched this ages ago with dormies - all these recs are a bit old but memorable!)
