It was something that had happened countless times since they'd been together. Really he probably should take a little more care, but at the same time he had grown a little attached the action. Only tonight it felt different. Actually recently a lot of things felt different, and he didn't know why. Until recently he had thought they had much the same views on it all, now he wasn't so sure. "Well, maybe you shouldn't" Sabine was especially glum today. She'd made so many mistakes in her life. She didn't consider herself the best person. She had lost a lot of confidence, one she started her Jedi training. Sabine didn't have a strong relationship with the force, but she did come a long way. she deserved credit for that. "But I appreciate your belief. I'll try to be the person you believe me to be."

"If I'm not sitting next to you in prison, of course. I have several in case of emergency plans sitting in the back of my head." Pike tapped her temple, "Almost all of them involve prison breaks on varying degrees of crimes. They have to be tweeked more and more cause prisons aren't quite the same here as back home but i'm certain I can make it work."

aragorn leaned into her touch, allowing her to gently massage his shoulders. he should have known that she would have been able to sense that he was feeling tense. not at one hundred percent. it had been a while since he had worried like this about gondor. but he still longed for middle earth. reaching up, he put a hand on hers. "thank you."

zuko glanced up from the frying pan when he heard the key in the door, a soft smile spreading across his lips. they'd been living together for some time now - dating for even longer. he adored her in all the ways that counted, but as his memory started to return to him he'd started to pull away slightly -unsure if she remembered him in the same way he remembered her. it was a touchy subject and he didn't know how much to push or discuss with her - without her thinking he'd lost his mind. when the door pushed open he waved. "evening sunshine - how was work?" he questioned, continuing to stir the frying pan in front of him. "dinner is nearly done."

makkari instantly rolled her eyes at her friend, pulling her knees up under her, as she turned to look fully at kate. she was able to read the womans lips to get most of the full question, but the question did make makkari roll her eyes in a loving way. "it's bold of you to assume, i wouldn't be right there next to you." she signs with a small laugh. "i think we're going to need either a backup plan, or an escape plan. which one should we plan."

Hope should know better, she knows that she should know better, and yet, when the blonde sees her mom down the street, it's like she's a little girl again, wanting the comfort of her mother, so her feet are the first thing to respond as she jogs her way over. "Mom!" She yells, only stopping right before she collides into her. "You have no idea how happy I am to see you, but I'm not surprised after seeing Neal and papa her-wait." All the blood rushes out of her face as she frowns. "Do you remember Henry or Storybrooke?"

Ella had only really been doing this outside because it was a nice day, she hadn't thought that much about fixing the skirt in the park. It was a nice distraction from her usual thoughts, the memories swirling round in her mind, and no idea what to do about any of it, if she could even do anything. Hearing the statement, she snapped back to reality, smiling softly, "oh, thank you. It's just practice, and clothes being expensive. Easier just to fix them".

Leaving behind the aromatic atmosphere of the cafe, Padmé held the coffee cup for warmth. The chill of the morning was still present but there was no time to waste. Her other hand clutching the bag with important paperwork for a job she once had in her false life. Honestly, she didn't know why she was still there, only that the work kept her distracted well enough. Nearly bumping into the other woman, she almost laughed at the response from this stranger. " I tell myself that every day. Perhaps it is something of a habit for everyone. " she said, not wanting to truly stare at her. They had never met, she would've remembered. Something haunting within her eyes that Padmé couldn't look away from.

" Are you from around here? " she asked, clearing her throat at the implication she was looking deeper. Perhaps they had met in another system, in another life. " I mean, what are you supposed to be doing? "

Jason smiled at her as she spoke, turning back around to face her. "There won't ever be a time where I would prefer to go somewhere alone over having you come with me. If you're busy though, I wouldn't wanna take too much of your time." he really did want her to come, wanting to spend as much time with Piper as he could while he could. However he was also trying not to be clingy, Jason knowing she likely had other things to do and other people she wanted to hang out with sometimes. "I'm always happy to have you with me."

Fjord came out of the water, hair glistening in the sun. An early morning swim at the beach. A habit to help clear his head, that for the past couple months has seemed to do the exact opposite. He had made it toward his towel when a moving figure caught his eye. He found himself staring at her and how she moved, a strange sense of knowing. A flash of a smile, the scent of sweet clinging to his nose. Like his dreams but he was awake and standing. He found his feet moving closer to the other without his brain truly computing he was in motion. "Excuse me." He called out, closing the distance faster then he should as he reached out toward the other. Another strange flash of a memory featuring the same blue beauty, except this woman was unmistakably human. "Do I know you." He questioned, his breath catching as he caught her eyes. Eyes he could stay lost in if she left him, it took a second for him to shake himself back to his senses. He wasn't dreaming, this was real and he needed to play it cool.
