The Sign (Sat YT) ep 8 of 12 - Tharn in Phaya’s too big clothing is the cutest thing in the world.

I gotta to say something about Babe's acting really quickly. I love the way he’s inhabiting the personality of his naga character with reptilian eye and body movements and (I don’t know how to put this) a certain reserved, elegant, slithering- ness. He's very good this new boy of ours. (He come from something physical like dance?)

I adored them doing the walk of shame and being teased.

ALSO I enjoyed the way they handled Tharn’s gender in the past with his costume (the pha chung hang is gender neutral but that green top is a kinda combo m+f) and pronouns et al.

Language corner:

They are using ancient pronouns. I *think* I heard: daow (3rd), khun/jao/tan (2nd), kaa (Ist) - all pronouns in use are gender neutral - to the best of my understanding.

Last Twilight (Fri YT) ep 10 of 12 - Ooo. Day comes out to fam. Also his maa legit took his phone away and said

“I don’t mind you being gay but you can’t date a poor.”

Still, these 2 do kind of make the best secret boyfriends ever.

Also I begin to love Night: “that’s my baby” indeed. You special ain’t ya?

For Him (Thurs iQIYI) ep 7 of 12 -  I’m starting to find this pretty boring at this juncture. Bummer, because for a while I was enjoying it.

Twins the series (Fri GaGa) ep 11 of 12 - The stuff with the spy on the team is super boring. I’m not wild about the side characters either. So most of this episode was a bust for me. I did like First’s ex. 

Pit Babe (Fri iQIYI) ep 9 of 14 - Charlie & Babe = honeymoon phase. Jeff & Kim = forgotten. Pete & Way = riddles wrapped in alphas but actually enigmas. Everyone else = gang bang phase…. Apparently. Trash watch happening here.

Cooking Crush (Sun YT) ep 6 of 12 - Loved that this was a mutual kiss. (Also how comfortable are OffGunn kissing now? Babies!) I’ve moved from indifference to absolute loathing of the side couple tho.

Oddball LIES from the script = the gayest bridge in Bangkok isn’t lit up after 9pm.

Meanwhile, very important kicky kicky feet and Doc is a dork about flirting now that he’s all in. Looks like we get the official boyfriend ep next week.  

You and My Stars YT 2of 2(?) - Couldn’t find it. Not fussed. 

Time the series (Thai Gaga) ep 1 of 10 - Okay so there’s a gang and someone named Chris is killed and his boyfriend, actor Foam, is jumped back in time to save him? NO SINGING. Between Chris’s death and that time-slip there’s some kind of accidental murder, a pink pocket watch, Chris being alive again but also a different person, and a make out scene. Are you also confused? Actually, the real question is: Do we continue watching? Remember we (the collective BLorg) do not trust MFlow. 

My Universe (Sun iQIYI) ep 21 of 24 - The acting has been pretty terrible all along with this series, but this one is the worst. I just can’t. I may tune in for the last installment but this one is a DNF for me.

Although I Love You and You AKA Sukiyanen Kedo Do Yaro ka (Japan Gaga) ep 1 of 10 - It’s utterly adorable. Very manga, but so far not grating on my nerves. They so cute! You know I adore a hyung romance. Add a v gay sauna scene and an OUT gay boy and just... YES. All the married breeder regulars being overly invested in their pretty cook’s queer drama queening, it's so good.

AND THEN a confession in the first episode? Japan sure loves to mess with the pacing of plots drops.

Also, how much do I want to eat every single piece  of food in this darn show? 

Sahara-sensei to Toki-kun (Japan Fri Gaga) ep 5 of 8 - Man I wish this were better I enjoyed this more. Sigh. I do LOVE the stepbrother sides. Of course I do. But how can this feature 2 of my favorite relationship types (age gap, stepbrothers) and not be my favorite BL airing? Japan, how do you ALWAYS do this to me? 

VIP Only (Taiwan Fri Gaga) ep 9 of 10 - I don’t know. I just wish this were better. Also shorter.

Playboyy (Thurs Gaga) 14 eps - Dear Playboyy, it's not you, it’s me… I hate you. You’re about as deep (and as palatable) as a shot glass of cum. While I'm sure you’re someone’s kink, you're my weakest link. Goodbye. I DNFed this at ep 5. Frankly I'm impressed with myself for getting that far.

Night Dream (Sat YT) 6 eps - It’s a pain to track down and I really didn’t like the first episode so… DNF  

The Whisperer (Sun ????) 10 eps - Thai horror BL that ALSO involves cheating (what joy is mine). I don't think even the perfect single dimple can motivate me to watch. Word is... it's terrible.

7 Days Before Valentine (Weds WeTV) 10 eps - Giving me Luminous Solution vibes. I'm waiting to binge if safe.

∙ Multiple Carats asked about her reaction to Wonwoo's GDA outfit. She had to look the outfit up on her phone, because she couldn't remember it. She called him handsome and said that many Carats must have liked it.

Do you know what the most common bird is in your area? We have many species of sparrows that you’ll find regardless of where you are in the country, but we only ever use the collective term ‘maya’ for all of them.

What last made you feel ecstatic? Yoongi’s tour. My friends and I have been planning our game plans to fly out to Bangkok, Jakarta, or Singapore in the last 24 hours – it’d really depend on where we’d manage to secure tickets, and if we get to secure tickets. We’re also considering Seoul as an extreme last resort, but I want to avoid it as much as possible because visa work is too much work that tbh I’m not willing to go through at this point. In any case...why on earth did they not book a show in Manila :/

What would make you feel happiest right now? Magically getting slots for Yoongi’s concert.

How many teeth have you had extracted? A couple. I have a third one also due but I’ll save that for when it starts hurting.

Do you ever read magazines? I never buy physical copies anymore but if I come across an online article that I’m interested in, then I do read it from start to end.

What is something you've been reflecting on? What I can do to be a better leader for my associates.

What's something you like and dislike about the town you live in? I like that it has all the establishments and stores you’ll also find in Metro Manila without ever having to be in Metro Manila, so it’s super convenient. Dislike... there’s no culture, no nightlife. There’s nothing here that you’ll ever be like, “I drove all the way here for this” for. 

What's a Halloween movie that you enjoy? Scream is a good example. I’m not always in the mood for jumpscares (like Paranormal Activity) or visual-centric horror (like The Ring), so Scream hits that perfect middle ground where I don’t feel like hiding under a blanket every 3 seconds. And gore is always a good idea, so.

Would you say you're more confident now than you were 5 years ago? Oh for SURE. I had zero confidence when I was 20! I struggled at making friends, was grossly reliant on my girlfriend at the time, and never raised my hand to speak in class. But my job has since been able to challenge me to push my own limits and lead virtual calls and step up during pitches and things like that, so it’s been a complete 180º switch from 2018.

Have you ever or would you try carrot bacon? I have no idea what that is but I’d also try anything once without having to Google them.

What's the last thing you purchased that was frozen? Ice.

Would you ever walk a runway if given the opportunity? I’ll pass. Doesn’t sound interesting.

When did you last do something that scared you? Last month, after Seonho’s fanmeet. My phone died the moment I started the car to drive back home and I was coming from Pasay (aka completely un-fucking-familiar with the place), so I had to drive entirely from memory. The drive itself wasn’t too scary because I figured I could always ask around for directions – I was honestly more scared of the possibility of my mom trying to call me and the call not connecting because of my dead phone and then her freaking out and thinking of the worse haha. Miraculously enough, she never checked up on me once that night.

What is something that you're curious about? My dad’s work. He works at a cruise liner and is based overseas, so save for the one time he took me to his kitchen when I went on a cruise, I actually have zero clue what he does on a normal day. I think being a chef is super admirable so it’d be cool to shadow him for a day.

What time do you usually eat breakfast? The more appropriate question at least for me would be if I even eat breakfast lol, to which the answer is no. I do make a cup of coffee before I start work, and I get around to that by 9.

What is something you done as a child that you would never do now? Be too shy to ask to go to the restroom and preferring to pee through my clothes altogether instead of having to speak up.

What's been your favorite memory of 2022? Talking to Kimi and saying my I love yous, thank yous, and goodbyes the night before he passed. By that point he hadn’t eaten in the last 3 days and I just knew he wasn’t going to be around in the next 24 hours, so I grabbed the chance to have a 1-on-1 with him once everyone in the house was asleep.

When were you last inside a tall building? Last Thursday, at a hotel for an event.

Is it currently quiet in the room you're in? Nah, my aircon is loud as all hell and I also have the TV on.

Is there someone you can honestly say you hate or have hated? I’ve held feelings of hatred for a number of people, but it usually eventually fizzles out to a perpetual milder state of dislike.

What's currently on your mind? That I really wanna start eating these pretzels beside me right now.

Would you consider yourself to be a messy person? I’m responsibly messy, if we wanna make that a thing hah. I can be very cluttered with my stuff but I always know where every single thing is.

Would those closest to you say you talk too much or not much at all? They’d probably tell you I’m right in the middle. I get self-conscious once I feel like I’ve been blabbering and will usually stop from there.

Do you have a song you cannot listen to anymore due to a bad memory? O by Coldplay. That was during what I’d like to call my suicide watch era, so... obviously personally hard to hear it these days.

Have you ever had a candlelit dinner? I don’t think I have.

What was the last shot you've taken? Second Covid booster.

Do you need to apologize for something or are you waiting on an apology? I always feel like apologizing to my teammates for being super tense at work. Idk why I care so much about my job lol. What's something you strongly believe in? Continued from the other night. That everyone is just like anyone else. Makes it easier for me not to get scared of higher-ups at work or high-profile clients or clients who think they’re hot shit.

Do you have a dream that is close to being accomplished? KIND OF??? I MIGHT SEE YOONGI??? WE’LL SEE.

Would you say you're in a good place mentally? Sure! For the last two years I’ve never been better. I mean I do go through Sunday anxieties, but I try not to let it interfere with my overall mental state. When did you first start feeling more grown up? After my breakup is when I first started to feel like I had to fight for my place in the world. That would be three years ago this year.

What kind of chapstick do you use? I don’t use chapstick.

How many pillows do you prefer to sleep with? Two, but lately I’ve been sleeping with just one – a pillow I hug – because I realized laying my head on a pillow hurts my neck more than anything.

What is something you've kept bottled up for a long time that you now have released? I don’t think I’ve had that kind of release recently.

Have you ever broken a cell phone charger? I’ve broken phone chargers, phone cases, phone screens...I’m historically very shitty with cellphones; it’s a miracle my current phone has lasted this long with me.

Kunlavut Vitidsarn: What’s his Childhood Story?

Badminton helped Kunlavut in his triumphant battle against health challenges. He suffered from severe nasal allergies, which led him to the hospital every few weeks. However, when he started training for badminton at seven, his health showed improvements. His father was a coach who introduced him to the sport and encouraged him to join the Bangthongyord Badminton School.

He was part of the Mixed team that won the bronze at the World Junior Championships in 2016. Kunlavut won a bronze medal at the Boys’ Singles Asian Junior Championships in 2017. The following year, he won a silver in the same category and a gold in 2019. Kunlavut was also a three-time World Junior champion, winning in 2017, 2018, and 2019.

Vitidsarn secured the silver medal in the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics as a part of the mixed team representing Thailand. He also won several BWF international challenge titles in 2019 and his first BWF world tour title in 2022 with the German Open against Lakshya Sen.

He won the silver medal at the 2022 World Championships held in Tokyo by losing a match to Viktor Axelsen. This year, he won the final to secure the gold medal at the 2023 World Championships.

I’m sorry, but I’m still not impressed with this drama.

It’s so obvious, that Phat and Tai are destined for each other. They avoided each other when they were neighbors, Tai avoided Phat when he started hearing him, Phat broke up with his girlfriend at the most opportune moment to fall in love again, Phat just walked into this one bar in the whole Bangkok, as if he was playing in Casablanca... this show is, at least for now, a perfect evidence that soul mates just MUST fall in love with each other, against all odds - and fate helps them. Even if they split up sometime in the distant future like Tai's parents. (Even Nara finally gives up when she hears that Phat has found his soulmate.)

That's why, unfortunately, this series is still not able to “seduce me”, because it’s so painfully predictable. There's no escape, soul mates fall in love with each other no matter what :) Maybe the first person to break out will be Lomfon and do something subversive and revolutionary, because maybe as the next episode's trailer suggests, he started noticing/treating Tien as a potential love interest (also interesting, how does he talk to him in the rain ??).

Anyway, I’ll keep watching La Pluie, waiting for some revelation, something new and revolutionary, because so far the series for me is completely in accordance with the basic laws of the genre :) Soul mates MUST fall in love with each other, they DO, and they don’t question, don’t FIGHT it and SUBMIT to it. I’ll be honest, I actually like soul mate trope, but only when 1) the lovers sort of... fall in love against their will 😄 or 2) it’s more like the connection of two souls and their love is kind of a “side effect”, presented perfectly in The Untamed, or Word of Honor 💖

By the way: Nara is one of the prettiest girls I've ever seen in my life. She’s also super nice and kind and so, so lovely. Wonderful as a girlfriend and as a friend. The fact that Phat fell out of love with her and eventually chose Tai, who, let's be honest, pales in comparison to Nara (sorry, but you know it’s true), only proves that noone can’t win against the soul mates in this universe.

SUPER JUNIOR returns with ‘SUPER SHOW 9: ROAD’ world tour concert at Bukit Jalil Axiata Arena on 10 October

A Reunion Highly Anticipated in Malaysia after 9 Years!

KUALA LUMPUR, 25th August 2022 — Are you ready, fellow Malaysian E.L.F. members? The veteran K-pop group SUPER JUNIOR will return to Malaysia with their highly anticipated ‘SUPER SHOW 9: ROAD’ world tour concert. Announced today by Star Planet, this Kuala Lumpur concert will be held on 10th October, an auspicious date at 5pm at Bukit Jalil Axiata Arena. Soon, the signature fandom colour of Sapphire Blue will shroud the entire stadium after 9 years since the last concert.

Earlier in a podcast show in July, SUPER JUNIOR members Eunhyuk and Donghae confirmed that Malaysia is up on their world tour list for ‘SUPER SHOW 9: ROAD’ live concert. Since then, Malaysian E.L.F. members have been eagerly expecting an official announcement for the date of the live concert in Malaysia to console their disappointment 2 years back, when the last Malaysia concert was called off due to the COVID-19 outbreak. During that time, the ‘SUPER SHOW 8: INFINITE TIME in Kuala Lumpur’ live concert originally scheduled on 1st March 2020 was cancelled altogether with the rest of the world tour.

Culminating a solid comeback to meet fans after 3 years of preparation, SUPER JUNIOR initiated their 9th world tour starting from Seoul on 15th July. After 3 consecutive nights in Seoul, ‘SUPER SHOW 9: ROAD’ embarked on its overseas journey. SUPER JUNIOR’s Bangkok concert on 30th July marked their first overseas live concert in the post-pandemic. AirAsia Philippines returns strong in key international markets, resumes Bangkok and Bali flights

AirAsia Philippines is poised for a strong ASEAN rebound this Q3 2022 with the resumption of flights to Bangkok, Thailand; and Bali, Indonesia on July 17 – both key markets for the brand internationally.

Memories 2016: Disc 4

So I asked awhile ago when I said I was going back to watch every memories DVD they have released so far, if you would be interested in commentary from me as I did so. There were a lot of people who said yes, so here we are! I have officially watched BTS Memories of 2016. Here are my thoughts as I went. There were 4 DVDs in this one. The posts over first 3 discs is already up and on my masterlist. Reminder that these aren't going to be smoothly written out thoughts. You get these like I'm live reacting, texting my bestie or live tweeting. Lol it'll be in like bullet point format sort of, just... a commentary post as I go. Lol Hope you enjoy anyway! Let's go!

Disc 4:

On Stage Asia Tour:

They went to 10 cities (Seoul / Taipei / Macau / Nanjing / Osaka / Nagoya / Beijing / Manila / Bangkok / Tokyo) for this tour. It was an extension of their 2015 HYYH tour. The tour kicked off in Seoul on 160507.

We start in June with the boys in Taipei. A minute into the video and we have jikook playing games already. Lol little wrestling robots game. Jimin bragging he won too much and JK saying it's only because I let you win (something he started doing with frequency in 2015) and then doing a rematch where he wins super quickly. Lmao poor Jimin.

This was also the same time as rehearsals for this concert that we see jikook practicing their COA performance. And JK mimicking Jimin on his 333 dance and immediately turning to check to see if he made Jimin laugh (he did 😊). Maknae line crazy dance times together in between stages 🥰

In Macau is where we get the iconic Sope skit with the recorder music that Hobi plays with his nose and Suga can't help but giggle over. And they thank their fans for the gift of such a luxurious recorder

I will never understand why they film them eating meals or snacks right up in their faces. I really don't need to see it and dang, let them eat without risk of accidentally inhaling the camera too with how close they get 🤣 the dance party from how good the snacks were though and excitement for the concert was adorable.

In Nanjing (July), Love seeing Jihope help the others perfect the choreo and picking out little things they can do to make the overall performance better. Main dancer things 🥰 and then vmin taking a break between rehearsals and the concert to play basketball together!

Jin dancing to ARMY singing songs before BTS even takes the stage 🥺 I love that they get to feel so much love. RMs inspiring little speeches before they go on to his members, do our best! And then we just got clips of total chaos and I want more please! Lol taekook piggy back ride, everyone hyping Suga up for his verse by patting him all over and jumping, Jimin swinging in between TaeJin, Tae on JKs shoulders, Tae's Boyz with Fun dance... I'm noticing a common factor in this craziness being Taehyung 😂 love him.

Lmao dangerous idea to give out my guys. 😂 followed by their talks to the camera at the end with Jin continuously proposing to Jimin (somewhat aggressively lmao) before JinJiKook all ask ARMY to marry them too. What is this?! What was the joke? 😂

In Osaka now! They were all so excited during rehearsals and cutesy teasing Tae about how often he said "now" during his VCR recording. (He did say it a lot lol.) Man, rhey also are making Jimin dance on every show! Either showing parts of Fire and the 333 dance before, but now it's Butterfly 😂 and ahh the way JK looks at him while he sings so Jimin can dance everytime. So fond. Such a big smile. And this time Jin did it too!

Jimin jokingly holding Jin back from giving the camera kisses for the end of show mentions. And then Jikook have been doing so many of their camera talks together lately. Lol "the youngest teased me so much today everyone" lol okay Jimin. They are so cute. Followed by Jin and Jimin reacting to JKs celebrity bromance show, which I have already made a post over here too.

Nagoya concerts! Yoongi being so professional and working with the sound techs over what should be higher/lower for instruments and Members voices. Being so knowledgeable and so cool. And then JK following him around in tiny and mimicking everything he says giggling softly to himself and at the camera 🤣 "suga hyung won't scold me" indeed.

Lmao right before the concert. JK is trying to talk to the camera and Tae is just belting his lungs out across the room everytime he tries to talk 🤣 jin sharing how backstage is like a war zone as they have all 7 members trying to get changed and their hair/makeup freshened up in just 3 minutes but that he always finishes first.

Jikook playing together before rehearsals on day 2 with silly dances 🥺 Jin proposing to ARMY AGAIN and the editors being savage lmfao "Jin became cringeworthy" rude omg 🤣 everyone teasing Joonie for his Day 1 Day 1 chant the day before. Lol and at the very end, Jimin jumping onto JKs back when they are leaving the stage before giving his ending mentions to the camera. 🥺

Beijing concerts. I'm not sure what Jimin was dancing too in the middle of rehearsals but JK was loving it. Jimin was going hard too! Lol during their rehearsal break we saw Jimin cracking up laughing while filming a video of Hope, which he later posted to Twitter for us. And the way they have meetings together before every show to hash out exactly what minor things need to be changed depending on where they are performing and give reminders on how to give the best show. They work so hard it's crazy.

Beijing is where we had RM, Jin and Jimin all take turns dancing part of the Butterfly choreo to either JK or Tae singing acapella. Something they have been doing this whole tour, switching it up. But this was the iconic one where JK was watching Jimin dance with all the love in his eyes while singing

RM ended up suffering from over heating and having trouble breathing and couldn't finish the concert. It was heartbreaking but also very touching watching JK and army fill in for his rap verses and Suga take over for the speeches. They did a really good job though. And they were all so worried and concerned when talking to the camera afterwards, especially Jungkook, who couldn't even really think of anything to say, just kept looking off to the side, like he was wanting to be able to just go check on his hyung. They love each other so much. It's never the same if one isn't there.

Manila shows, end of July finally. Jikook walking to the stage with their arms around each other 🥺 and Jin is always acting the cutest on his way to their stages!

Lmao JK playing around with sunglasses and acting silly while the stylist Noona is trying to shove clothes at him and help him get dressed quickly for the encore stage. He is NOT making her job easy. Lmao these stylists all the patience of saints, I swear! The rapline hyping each other up on stage will never not get to me! And they were all so hype for the NMD dance break too!

Everyone was soooo excited by the crowds reactions. JK saying ARMY was his energizer. The hyungs all smiling super hard and being so thankful. Tae just shouting love you to the camera for army over and over. Jimin crashing his interview and jumping on Tae's back this time. Lol they were all so happy after this show!

Bangkok shows now! (160806 now). The amount of Thai food they had on a spread looked amazing and the short impromptu eat jin video we were gifted as well! Jungkookies smile hearing ARMY screaming before they go on stage 😭 Tae giving using his hand to give flying kisses from Jin and JK both. So cute

Yoongi walking off stage so tired he basically just skips saying anything to the camera. 😭 someone let him take a nap soon! We also see the staff taking JKs mic off and him holding his arm like it hurts. Then when Jimin comes up while he is talking to the camera to give him a back hug, he knocks his arm a bit and JK is obviously in pain. Jimin then practically forgets all about the camera, trying to figure out what happened and what hurts. While JK spends just as much effort trying to pretend he is fine and to distract Jimin from it, including teasing him and when Jimin says he is getting old going, but you are only 22? Lol before they walk off together. I'm sure Jimin did not forget about his arm and wanting to find out what happened either. It was cute the way JK wanted to not worry him over it though.

Toyko tour stop! Hoseok, our dance leader, scolding JK for not properly checking his in ears and sending him off to fetch them again. Lol I love that side of Hobi too. Jimin spent almost this entire video with black hair, and is now back to blond for Toyko! And Yoongi has darker auburn type of hair now!

Hobi dancing to JK singing Tomorrow this time! And TaeJin dancing to Fire! And Jin is letting the whole "Nikonikoni" thing GO. Lmao TaeJin are sitting back stage with their arms around each other and Jin is STILL going on with "Nikonikoni" into the camera and during when he danced Fire. Lmao is this where Tae picked it up from for his iconic line in the middle of Attack on Bangtan that sent Jimin into a laughing fit so hard he missed his lines to sing after that? 🤣🤣

Day 2 shows everyone preparing to get on stage, stretching all serious. Captions "everyone relieves stress in their own ways" cuts to Jin acting a fool and big smiles all silly. Lmfao Jimin walking up behind him watching him with the fondest smile, and trying not to laugh. And JK practicing the choreo the same exaggerated way with Namjoon walking up behind him with a smile and then a nod to the camera 😂

Taes voice during Boys with Fun will always be one of my favorite things! Plus his improvised dance moves that the rest of the group then copies afterwards! And Tae being RMs biggest fanboy during his Save Me verse!

The way that everyone encore stage included Miss Right where they passed out little merch balls from baskets, throwing them into the crowd was adorable. Even more so watching them skip around stage with the baskets and half the time someone ended up wearing said basket on their head when it was empty. Lmao surprisingly, it was usually the rapline who wore the basket hats so proudly!

The utter CHAOS that broke out right after Hobis ending mentions to ARMY and Otsukare started playing and everyone went crazy on stage dancing and jumping around to it. Lol just for RM to bring it back down after a bit with being the last to give his greetings and making everyone cry saying "we would have no most beautiful moment in life without you." And Jimim giving his backup dancer friend a big hug when they all came out before everyone joined hands for the final bow😭

Hobi ending the DVD off with a super sweet speech about the tour admist all the staff cheering like crazy for the members so sweetly.

And that wraps up Memories 2016! This was amazing and their hardwork, as always, is so highlighted and soooo admirable. One of my favorite things was seeing Namjoon greet ARMYs in their language everywhere they went. The dedication he has in making everyone geel welcomed and special is so beautiful. In conclusion, I love them. Thanks for letting me share my thoughts! 💜

What is one change you need to make in your life this month? A month? That’s super short-term...erm, maybe trying to figure out a new position when I sleep? I’ve been waking up with very sore shoulders and numb arms lately. What was one good thing about today? My mom finally started using what was my Christmas gift to her – a portable, foldable bathtub hahaha. She always said she’d set it up once the climate gets warmer, and now that summer’s started she stuck to her word and used it for the first time today.

What’s been tugging on your heart lately? The whole sticky situation of mine and my friends’ fate regarding Yoongi’s concert. It’s too complicated to explain in full, but basically a major part of it is that Angela was lucky enough – and was the only one in our group of 4 – to secure 1 ticket (Reena didn’t get one from the ticketing website but quickly got to snatch one from a seller, so she’s covered), and she said she’s willing to turn it over to me while she and Hans can just go around Bangkok on the day of the concert. It’s a very conflicting situation on my end because as much as she says that she picked me and genuinely wants me to go, she is also my best friend in the world and I don’t want to enjoy the show knowing that I got in with a ticket she got, in a show she should be enjoying.

I’m super 50-50 about it right now because I’m heavily leaning towards just selling the ticket so neither of us go, but anyway that’s the reason why we’re still trying to chase extra tickets from people selling theirs – we want to be complete, and we want all of us 4 to get to watch the show. We’re starting to get offers from people willing to sell their extras, so we’ll just have to see where this takes us.

Are you comfortable with who you are? Have you accepted who you are? I’m at least more at peace with myself than I was, say, three years ago. I’d say that’s as good as it would get. There’ll always be things to work on and I don’t think I’ll ever get to say I ‘accept’ myself fully.

All the money you ever need or someone to spend the rest of your life with? Money; I don’t need a lifelong partner. Decided on that a long time ago.

What is the last thing you did that made you feel guilty? THE YOONGI THING UGH. I feel both guilty and bad about it. Of fucking course I want to see Yoongi, but I don’t want it to come from a place where my friend would have to give up her ticket for me. Worst case scenario none of us go and of course, honestly speaking, that would be a huge bummer.

Would you have sex with the last person you texted? Can’t remember the last person I texted but probably not.

What was the last thing you received in the mail? Just bills for electricity and water.

Who did you last creep on? Like...stalk? Just influencer profiles I had to review to see if they’d be a good fit for one of the campaigns I’m working on.

What country would you most like to visit in the future? I’d love just to go back to Korea. One day in Jeju is too short a time to be there.

At your workplace, are you required to wear a uniform? Nah, just a dress code.

Who is the last person that gave you butterflies? I had this minor crush on a girl I had to work with for an ad/commercial shoot. She was like production manager or something like that and anyway she fit what would typically be my type...but then that all ended when our most recent shoot ended up a disaster and we had to go like...9 hours overtime. It was a very stressful situation at work and I’d rather not get into detail but anyway that marked the end of any butterflies I had for her lmao.

Do you consider weed, marijuana, pot, etc. a drug? Well, yeah.

Are you planning on kissing anyone tomorrow evening? Nope. Do you require a lot of private time? Um, not really. I like being around people, and having weekends to myself usually suffices as me-time already.

Have you ever done something humiliating while drunk? Yep.

Have you ever told a guy you were a lesbian to get him to leave you alone? Kind of? What I did before was stick closer to my partner at the time and wait for them to get the hint.

What’s the best part about flying? The views at the start and end. The flights themselves can get so boring, but I still gun for the window seat as much as possible as views of the city always get me in the feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeels.

Who did you last have a deep and meaningful conversation with? Andi. I talked to them about my struggles with enjoying wrestling these days, and how I was starting to come to terms with the fact that I can’t actually digest technical wrestling and mostly watch shows for their entertainment/storyline value. Very WWE way of doing things – which is why I’ve always struggled to get into other promotions. It prompted Andi to open up and they got into this whole spiel of what technical wrestling is really all about, and taught me some mental notes to take note of the next time I watch wrestling so I can get into the in-ring chemistry more. They gave me some sample matches to watch too, just so I can understand better what they meant with their tips. Really loved that conversation. 

Any vacations planned? Yeah I’ve now got two in June. Bangkok with friends, and then Kuala Lumpur with family that same week. The latter has me going CRAZY because my mom booked it to be the same week I’m flying back to Manila from Bangkok :((((( So basically, I arrive in Manila from Bangkok on a Tuesday morning; then Friday evening I’ll be on a plane again en route to KL. It’ll be such a hectic couple of weeks for me lol.

Do you play any sports? Table tennis.

Which friend have you known the longest? Angela and I have been friends for 18 years.

Do you drink the recommended 6-8 glasses of water per day? No. I drink a lot of water in a day, but not up to 8 glasses.

Chocolate or Vanilla ice cream? Honestly neither since I find chocolate to be too strong a flavor and vanilla too bland; but if I didn’t have a choice I might just go with chocolate.

If you had to get glasses would you wear contacts? I can’t stand anything being put near or in my eyes, so no. I’ll always prefer glasses.

Are Mac’s really better than PC’s? I’m sure both have their strengths but having experienced both, I prefer Macs. My old HP laptop lagged all the time and was a hub for viruses and it was all generally just very stressful for me lol.
