I might not have medalled, but I'm 4th at the Roma 2020 International weightlifting cup. I've quite a journey ahead of me to be at full health again. However, I have enjoyed this competition. Great athletes, great officials. Good hospitality (still couldn't eat the food) 😅😅😅 The support was No.1 exactly what I needed to come away with a total and gain back my confidence back on the stage. Last session before Friday. So light snappish front squats and light cjs. It's pretty hot here too, changing my lifting suit cause of this. I think I'd melt with a full racer on, gonna wear my favourite one.🙃 I feel strong but my asthma is a slightly different issue. I am doing my best to have hot showers(water is rarely hot)🙃 to use the steam to help clear my lungs. No suana here as that would have been ideal. That aside I have seen some inspirational lifting. I am meeting some really cool people helping to bring my SVG vision to light. We can nit pick my technique here but with a long working Schedule, and 3 to4 days training +motherhood whats really magical about today's session is hand on my heart I don't feel ill anymore!!! It's the longest period to date where I have experienced this feeling of being utterly unbalanced, confused sad and sick with an overwhelming illness in spirit and body.
