I already talked about Father Time, so 4+1! This is a drawing that I originally made for a friend but I ended up falling in love with it so I plan to clean it up and finish it to get it posted here!

Gosh, it's almost october already? Time flies! For a Vargas request: its quite a fluffy one for the spooky times (and the source material haha), but I've always found the idea of Edgar from And Also With You sleeping on his wings quite endearing. They're built in blankets! Great for some rest (which this man desperately needs lmao).

A few years ago I made an oc for @crimson-chains Sweet Beginnings story and I decided to redesign him the other day that I remembered he existed. As you can see, he's based on water lmao. I'm really happy with how he came out, I finally was able to draw him the way I imagined him.

Some backstory and cool background bc I can under the cut :)

His name is River, and he's a doctor! More specifically a surgeon and a pediatrician. He wasn't originally called River, but as I was redesigning him I decided that people made fun of him so much bc of his name that to change it to River to avoid anymore problems.

I think he has a horribly unsuccessful love life bc people think he's plain and boring 😂 despite being good looking and a very friendly, easy going personality I think people get disenchanted very fast with him bc he doesn't taste like anything. This is based on an ask Crimson answered a long time ago where I think she said the fluids (like saliva) of characters based on drinks and foods actually taste like the drinks and the foods. And well, since he's water he doesn't really have a particular taste.

I think he'd visit the bar and the bakery fairly often. He'd go to buy his lunch and some treats for the other doctors and nurses at the bakery and at then go to the bar to let go of some steam at the end of every of every shift. I also think he's a heavy drinker bc since he's water the alcohol washes out of his body more easily, but he doesn't drink that often since he works at a hospital.

He's also really good with kids and is the go to doctor whenever there's a patient (child or adult) who's being hard to handle. He has a very soothing and calming presence after all!

The fact that Chains of Heart, Art Adore En and Love Puzzle are all set in the same universe with the same characters is going to be so confusing - especially once the latter two series are released.

We should probably treat Chains of Heart as an entirely separate thing (what with the different and older cast), but there's at least some overlap in Art Adore En and Love Puzzle - with Hin, Phayu and Ken being played by the same actors (there's no Din at all, sadly).

Then there's Love Puzzle, where the main characters Pleng and Phrai are played by different actors than in Art Adore En.

I'm-

Art Adore En and Love Puzzle seem to be a bit more fluffy than Chains of Heart (they're set at university after all) but, judging by the pilot for Art Adore En and the blurb for Love Puzzle, there's at least some darker undertones - which would explain a bit about Hin & Phayu's dynamic in Chains of Heart.

Ughhh, I wish I could get my hands on the novels. I'm so curious and I love it when stories are interconnected like that.

Another Thing That Leonidas Didn't Talk About But I Would Have Rather He Did (Or That We Otherwise Got More Info About)

Three or four eternities ago (read, months) I made a post that speculated that Leonidas was keeping a pet panther that he never talked about based on a curious consistency in artworks, which you can see here if you, too, wish to see his panther he has put jewels on.

But because Leonidas and the rest of his family passed communications with a D- when it comes to familial relations (their father couldn't help them study, having failed the class himself), there's more than one thing hiding in the margins of their lives that they just don't talk about. This time, it's hiding in Gala Mars' story:

Namely, that Mars does not seem to be Leonidas' first dragon.

So essentially Mars killed Leo's pactwyrm (judging by the 'new pact'), and Leo essentially said: Cool, wanna join up? This is a video game, after all.

Oh, Leonidas.

PS: I always will find it funny that Mars, underneath all the mana cylinders embedded in his flesh and what-have-you-not, really just looks like Red Midgardsormr, judging by this Dragalia Mini art. He's even got a yellow highlight under his eyes!

Even his chibi style is pretty similiar to Midgardsormr's!

I do appreciate though that at least Mini!Mars is being fed Leo's curry enough to have cravings of it. Then again, this may not be a special privilege since I'm guessing Leonidas does indeed wish to demonstrate his superiority in all things, including curry-making.
