i think my… parts? have different ways of communicating??

some aren’t verbal and don’t seem to know how to get a feeling or a need into words of any kind

some don’t care when i write about them (vaguely) BUT if i speak aloud about having parts or being a system, im tossed directly into dissociation and it takes hours to reground out of it.

if i unfocus my eyes or watch the keyboard while i type i can communicate with some of them that way BUT if i read what im writing while i write it, i spiral out into dissociation again.

…also finding that when talking to parts and not getting an answer that’s understandable across the communication chasm, main emotion is anger?? frustration?? impatience?? seems… maybe not a helpful emotion to build internal connections in an capacity
