Akatsuki! Sakura au  🌸  Randomly got inspired one day with this thought while I was out with my mom and I just had to draw it. Didn't rush it though and only worked on this during my free time. This is also my second attempt bc I just wasn't vibing with the first one. It bothered me for 2 days until I finally gave in and re-drew it.

I don't like recording myself and I still haven't figured out timelapses so I just saved each stage separately and put them in one video ☝️ ☝️ *cough* Lineart stage is still my favorite.

This was originally supposed to stay as grayscale, except for the eyes, but I decided to overlay it with color in the end.

when you realise for all their combined lives, Kakashi and Obito are using kamui entirely wrong and it only gets used properly once, while sending Obito to kamui with a part of Shukaku and Gyuki

for all their lives spent apart, they used kamui separate. it's meant to be used with two eyes at once.

the thing about kakashi/obito is like. i get it. i do. i get the angst i get the complicated history i get the earth-shattering revelations i get the enemies to friends to enemies to lovers. but even though i get it i cannot take it seriously. i can’t do it. i physically cannot handle fanworks that tackle their history and their future with sincerity, no matter how well said fanworks are executed. i just can’t.

It was a spur of the moment thing. Some anti-climatic, idiotic thought that was brought to action. Probably during a late night around a fire or walking through a dark forest that’s too quiet to be comfortable. He’s allowed them to hold his pinkie with theirs. They badgered him into it, lightly, of course.

He just seems so in his element. Even with the chunky hat and wooden pipe that hangs from his mouth. He’s very much comfortable in the setting and it makes them feel...sentimental. For something. Something they don’t know about.

So they don’t want to take too much blame for what they do. Pulling him in by the cheeks, after making sure he’s seen their hands beforehand, and planting a big one on his lips. It’s clumsy. Too much teeth and spit did pass their closed lips but they keep it there. 

Many smaller ones follow in quick succession. Same place and others. Mostly staying in the region of his mouth and chin though one finds it’s way to his nose. Their fingers are splayed out, thumbing at the base of his ears. 

They pull away after, promptly dizzy. A sneeze leaves them before they shuffle away from him to the other side of the log they sit on. Supposedly waiting for their skin to start flaking and they turn to dust. Honestly, K’in would rather that then have to answer his questions after he’s done staring.

Their ear tips glow and their palm itches. “So..Obi..you taste nice.”

Yes. Being ash would be easier.

shikamaru growing steadily more and more frustrated and actually ending up with a mess of papers on his desk for the first time in his jōnin career due to not being able to sort his damn feelings out, not allowing himself to accept them and thereby unable to concentrate on work..

finally letting out a loud groan of annoyance and stress, throwing a stack of documents around the room and coming to an agitated rest by leaning his forehead against the wall with a heavy sigh.

perhaps he should slam his head hard against it. knock some sense into himself.
