ATEEZ Support Guide: How to support ATEEZ’s comebacks

(You may view the entire support guide here. You may have to view via desktop.)

Here is a guide on how to support ATEEZ’s comeback, from voting to streaming and helping them chart domestically and globally!

Each music show have their own set of criteria and rules, but the categories which ATINYs can help improve include: digital sales, physical sales, social scores, pre-voting, and live voting. To look at the specific percentage breakdown of each category individually, please visit the full guide.

VOTING ON MUSIC SHOWS

▶ MTV THE SHOW

Pre-voting period: Friday 8:00PM KST to Monday 2:00PM KST (5% of overall score)

To participate, download the StarPlay app via iOS or Android. Connect with your social media accounts or create an account by email. After making an account, you may complete offers/activities (such as watching ads) to earn “starpoints” which can then be turned into votes. (10 starpoints generates 1 vote.)

Live voting period: Tuesday, 6:35PM KST to 7:30PM KST (10% of overall score)

To participate,  If ATEEZ is nominated for first place, then you may vote for them via the StarPlay app during the broadcast time. You have three free votes.

▶ MBC Show Champion

Pre-voting period: Tuesday 12:01AM KST to Sunday 11:59PM KST (40% of overall score)

To participate, download the Idol Champ app via iOS or Android. Connect with your social media accounts or create one by email. You’re given three votes each day to vote for ATEEZ.

Live voting period: Wednesday, 7:00PM KST

To participate, you can vote once through the website or through text. Text the number +82 0082 2566 with “에이티즈”, however be mindful of billing expenses.

To participate,  Download MELON AZTALK app. The app is unfortunately only available on the Korean app store, so you have to change your timezone to KST and/or change your iOS to South Korea. (You can change back to your normal settings after downloading.) Then, you click the panel at the top right corner and proceed to select “SBS 인기가요 투표.” At this point, you may vote for your artist. You’re given three votes, one of which can be given to ATEEZ, but the other two must be used to vote for other artists.

Live voting period: None Broadcasts: Sunday, 12:10PM KST

STREAMING THE TITLE TRACK/ALBUM

This will help with ATEEZ’s social score. Below is the social score breakdown per music show.

▶ YouTube Streaming

YouTube streaming helps improve ATEEZ’s social score. To stream, replicate the following:

Manually stream the music video from start to end without skipping advertisements. You may watch it a couple of times before resorting to having to watch other videos in between to avoid having a view be “invalid” or “spam”.

If you want, or can’t manually stream, use a playlist. Include two or more videos if you have the playlist on repeat to avoiding having a view be “invalid” or “spam”.

Watch the music video from the official KQ Entertainment channel.

Do not use hacks or extensions.

Like, comment, and share the video.

You do not have to be logged in for your views to count as YouTube keeps track of views per IP address; just don’t spam the video.

In the case of M! Countdown performances, streaming M Countdown performances also counts towards ATEEZ’s social score for the said music show. You would stream their latest M Countdown performance to count for the upcoming week’s broadcast. Therefore, we recommend that when creating playlists or watching videos in between streaming, use M Countdown performances as “filler” videos.

▶ Album Streaming

You can stream via Spotify, Apple Music, etc. to help ATEEZ’s albums chart on American and foreign charts! This, however, will not count towards ATEEZ’s social score.

You have to stream on South Korean music streaming sites to, not only help ATEEZ chart on Korean charts, but also improve their digital/social score on music shows. MelOn, Genie, and Bugs are the largest streaming networks and is most reflected in the scoring. Typically, Korean VPN has to be used to stream and streaming links have to be purchased. Please visit @ATEEZ_Charts and @ATEEZvotestream on Twitter for streaming links and guides! @ATEEZWorldwide also allows for people to donate money to purchase streaming links.

PURCHASING THE ALBUM

▶ Digital Album

When purchasing the album via Apple Music, etc. it’s is more beneficial to ATEEZ to purchase each song individually.

▶ Physical Album

Here is the physical score percentage breakdown per music show:

MTV THE SHOW: 10%

MBC Show Champion: 10%

Mnet M! Countdown: 15%

KBS Music Bank: 5%

MBC Show! Music Core: 10%

Purchasing the physical album will improve ATEEZ’s physical sales score and help them chart on Hanteo and Gaon charts. Websites that count towards Hanteo and Gaon charts are:

If you purchase from MyMusicTaste or any other uncharted sources, please refer to this video to register the albums on Hanteo charts.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

▶ Improving Social Score

For some M Countdown and Inkigayo, there are a few more tools to help benefit ATEEZ’s social scores. This includes “social media points,” and therefore collecting data from social media sites.

YouTube was described, as we did above. Other platforms that are included in the social score are: Twitter, Weibo, and YinYueTai. Therefore, in addition to views, using hashtags benefit the overall score.

When posting/tweeting, follow the guidelines:

Hashtags cannot be placed at the beginning or end, nor can they be placed next to each other.

The post/tweet cannot contain links or photos.

Posts/Tweets with 10+ shares/retweets are the only ones that are counted for. They also count as an additional point.

Your account must be public when tweeting/posting.

Finally, like, comment, retweet, share, and follow ATEEZ and their posts.

Examples of how your posts/tweets should look like:

[GUIDE] Star Play Voting

StarPlay is an app used by SBS The Show for fans to vote for the weekly music show that airs every Tuesday.

Download: You can download the app on the Appstore the Play Store and APK. It’s free to download!

1. Sign up & Login

After downloading the app and opening it, you’ll be asked to log in or sign up. You can create a new account using facebook, google or kakao, or login to one that has already been created. It will ask you to verify your account before asking for you’re username/ID. Before you can confirm your account you must check the top box. To change the language clicking on the three bars in the top right corner and then scrolling down to to world will allow you to switch from korean to english. 

2. Collecting Voting Tickets

To collect voting tickets, you must convert silver star tokens. To find the silver tokens click the most far right tab at the bottom of the app. You can purchase gold tokens which convert to 2 silver star tokens, or gather silver star tokens by watching 5~6 ads an hour or complete different actions. To convert star tokens, click the voting tickets converting. 1 voting ticket is equal to 10 silver stars.

3. Vote 

To vote click on the vote button at the bottom of the screen. Clicking the middle tab labeled SBS will take you to where you vote for The Show. Voting is only opened at certain times, we will announce when voting is opened if VERIVERY are nominated.

Fill-up the following details. For the mobile number, you can use Korean phone number generator.

Use Ctrl+F and search "재찬". Click his photo to select.

At the end of the page, click "조사종료".

Click the email verification. If you do not verify your email, your survey results will not be reflected.

[GUIDE] High1 Seoul Music Awards Voting

The Seoul Music Awards is an awards show founded in 1990 that is presented annually by Sports Seoul for outstanding achievements in the music industry in South Korea.

Download: You can download the app on both iTunes and the Play Store. It’s free to download! 

1. Sign up & Login After downloading the app, go to the top left corner and click the circle with the tree lines. This will open up the  menu, to log in you must click the ‘More’ tab. This will take you to the More screen and the top option will be to Log in. If you do not already have an account simply click on Sign up. If  you would n ot like to use your email, click one of the social media accounts below.

2. Collect Voting Tickets To collect your voting tickets you have to open up the menu again. This time clicking on the tab that says Voting Tickets. You have 3 free tickets everyday and all of the tickets that you collect expire everyday if you do not use them. You can gain more ticket by watching videos.

3. Vote VERIVERY is nominated under the Rookie category. A simple  shortcut  to the category is opening the menu and clicking the Rookie tab. This will take you to all of the nominees. Find VERIVERY’s name and click vote. It will then prompt you on how many tickets you would like to give. And then click ok!

[VOTE] Brand of the Year 2019 - Male Rookie Idol Award

You can only vote once per phone number, but you may sign up using different phone numbers and emails to vote more than once. If you require any  help, feel free to message us either privately or through our asks and we will do our best to hep you!

1. To vote head to the Brand of the Year Website, HERE, and click on the gold button on the popup in the left corner of the tab. 

2. The button will take you to a page with  multiple options as well as a search bar. Search VERIVERY, in Hangul (베리베리), in the search bar. 

3. A small popup window will open. To Vote you must sign in, the first box requires your name, in hangul. A simple way to  put your name into Hangul is to use Google Translate, but any other way is acceptable. The second box asks for your email, put the first part and then choose which  engine your email is connected to on the  drop down box. After all boxes are filled click the button at the bottom of the popup window. 

4. For the next pop up you will finish filling in information. Your name and email will appear from the previous questions. Enter you phone number, each phone number can be used to vote only one, sex, age group, marital status, occupation, yearly income and region. After the pop up is filled you can click on the button at the bottom of the pop up. 

5. If the questions are all filled correctly it will take you to the 2019 Male Rookie Idol Awards voting. Click  on the button below VERIVERY (베리베리) to cast your vote. A popup will pop up and click ‘OK’ to confirm your vote.

1. Sign up & Login After downloading the app and opening it, go to the top left corner where you’ll be asked to login. You can create a new account using facebook, google or kakao, or login to one that has already been created. To edit your profile click the gear in the top right corner of the profile pop up. You can add VERIVERY as your favorite idol by clicking the banner on the main screen. You may add a total of three idols to the category and label on as your favorite. 

2. Vote To vote click on the vote tab at the bottom of the screen. Scroll to find the ShowChampion banner and click on the vote button. This will bring you to a list of the songs available to vote for. Once you find VERIVERY you will be able to vote for the song 3 times per day.

1. Sign up & Login After downloading the app, or arriving at the website, and opening it, go to the top left corner where you’ll be asked to login. On the mobile app you must use an already created account, to create account you must access the website, and click the option to Sign Up.
