What's a song you associate with T'sei and his character journey?

So. For those of you not in the know, here's the (abbreviated) long story:

T'sei is the rider of bronze Xhiyanth of Igen Weyr on Harper's Tale MOO. This is a text-based roleplaying game based on Anne McCaffery's Dragonriders of Pern (where I, by the bye, first met Jeshala-player back in antiquity).

What's significant about this question is that T'sei was originally from Ista Weyr, where he met and fell in love with Sienna, rider of green Kehemath, while they were still Candidates for Impression. After a few years, I had to take an extended break from the game and Sienna-player and I decided it was better if T'sei and Sienna broke up. By this point, T'sei had a flight-child (Aileen) with a greenrider named Ilae, but Sienna and T'sei had no children because Sienna didn't want kids. Since T'sei did, that stood as the basis for their break up.

Young people doing stupid things. You know the drill.

About a year after I went on hiatus, give or take, the game decided to shake things up and devised a Jump Forward/mass destruction plot where there was a cataclysm on Pern and some of the Weyrs, led by certain events that would take too long to explain, decided to jump forward in time 400 years to a time when things had stabilized.

Sienna and Aileen went forward. T'sei stayed behind (because I wasn't playing).

I came back a couple of years after the jump forward and started a couple of new characters (y'all have been introduced to K'shi and his bronze Theron Shan Zhikanikoth). Sienna was still playing and another person who wanted to bring back her rider devised a whole plot where she accidentally went back in time and wanted to come back forward to home, and brought some others - including T'sei - back with her.

And so T'sei jumped forward, 400 years.

Actually, 425 years.

So here he is, 35 years old. Sienna is 53 (she used to be younger than him), and even his daughter Aileen is 36 years old (and that takes some timey-wimey wibbly thought) with five kids.

And he's still desperately in love with Sienna.

And she's still in love with him.

Now, she's lived 25 years in the future. She had a weyrmate. She had two children. She's lived her life.

And here's her much younger ex-weyrmate come along, and he doesn't care that her hair is greyer or she's got a few wrinkles - she's still the Sienna he danced with on the beach in the moonlight all those years ago.

It took no time at all for them to fall in love again and get back together. And, surprise, end up with twin children of their own.

So when Jeshala asks me about what song best characterizes T'sei's journey, this is what she means. And now you know why no one song works.

There's Time After Time for himself and Sienna.

There's Rewrite The Stars, for himself as well as him/Sienna.

If I Could Turn Back Time, for himself before the Second Jump Forward.

And finally, Lucky, for himself since the Second Jump

There's a lot of other songs out there. Sie and I frequently go strolling through our Pandora playlists and see what pops up that makes us think of vignettes for them, either individually or together. But these are the ones that initially come to mind.

T'Sey had found the observation deck by looking in all public spaces along the corridor. This one was empty, thankfully, and the lighting was dim, with some lounge chairs that looked comfortable. She moved one closer to the viewscreen, and curled up on it, staring out into space.

⚜ - If you role play more then one muse, do you have a favourite? 

Technically I don't roleplay any of my FFXIV characters. Unfortunately, I haven't really found a way to break into the RP scene, so mostly everything I do is through fanfiction. If I did, Kali would probably still be my favorite, just because she's my RP main.

Of the characters I do RP (a la DRoP), my favorite is probably K'shi or T'sei, with A'she, Ky'zai, and Jazhira a close second. Alas, I have not done much in the way of RP with them of late.
