as a socialized woman i guess im used to my interests or ideas being dismissed as soon as theyre mentioned. unless of course. Someone Else likes them. but within any other context its not that my interest doesnt matter but that it is actively rude, obnoxious or clearly indicative of some greater flaw if i continue to bring it up. i am so used to being dismissed that i do not even register it and instead it becomes either misguided self flagellation or bottled contempt
