He wasn't being blamed but he still felt thoroughly chastised with just a couple of words. Naoe was still a little hot tempered but he took his position seriously! Perhaps a little too seriously.

Naoe just vehemently argued against it which caused more of a kerfuffle than he was expecting it to which roped in more Takeda and more Uesugi. Why Tatsuomi was friends with the outsider and other general was beyond him. The man was infuriating.

I've been thinking about this since the second the new chapter dropped but I wonder if Naotora will manage to become the first Takeda in history to break off the "Takeda curse" of killing their own fathers... because in his case, Naoe might end up doing it in his stead

He also seems to be less inclined to have the adaptable nature of the Uesugi band or the Takeda band, and less likely to have common goals. So for that reason, I’d choose him out of them all. But it is nothing personal against him. Only strategic. “
