The cats were made first by their creators claws, crafted of various things she adored and set alive by her taking a piece of the moon and pushing it into their heart.

The canines came next. Made from woven twine and blood from her loving deers and then set alive by the spirit pulled from the sun.

But her creatures which she loved so much kept fighting. Wolves ran through the lands tearing apart small colonies and lions controlled large swaths of land, hurting those who came near what they claimed as theirs. She weeped seeing their flaws for so long that the calm seas turned rough and swelled, flooding the lands and covering it in water. Her creatures begged for forgiveness as they clung to what they loved and in seeing their blazing fight to survive she made the between.

Foxes made from ice and stars from her very own sky and lit alive by the flame she felt in her heart they burned away the water and brought peace back to her beloved lands.

As such the canines and felines stay apart with a tentative peace, and the foxes stay between them in matter to keep them all alive and their beloved creator happy.

            The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter, the story of Princess Kaguya, reminds me of King. A mysterious orphan entrusted to a mortal family. Those who take care of Kaguya are given gold for their kindness; Likewise, Luz treats King with compassion as an older sister, and is given the Light glyph, something that is also golden, by the Titan out of gratitude. King and Kaguya are immortal beings who will eventually outlive the loved ones they met.

        Their stories are destined to end with the moon; Kaguya returns to her home, and in the end, it will be King and the Collector (and if they’re lucky, Hooty as well). The elixir of immortality, Titan’s blood. People who desire King but don’t respect him as a person, so they all fail. A final gift and message to the Collector and Emperor, from King and Kaguya; With hope they can reunite in the future eventually.

The Sandown Clown.

Driven by a sound reminiscent of an ambulance siren, the children ventured across a footbridge spanning a gentle stream. There, they encountered a peculiar, unclassifiable entity, often likened to a fusion of a clown, a robot, and an extraterrestrial. Surprisingly, this bashful yet amiable being engaged in a warm conversation with the children for nearly half an hour before they rejoined their parents. Following the encounter, it mysteriously disappeared, leaving behind an enduring enigma that has never been unraveled.

Standing at an impressive 2 meters in height, the Sandown Clown possessed a strangely human-like form, with two arms, two legs, and a head bearing identifiable facial features. However, its resemblance to humanity ended there. Its head, too large for its slender body, resembled a near-perfect sphere. Its skin, as pale as paper, contrasts sharply with its hands and feet, each bearing three digits. The facial features appeared crudely painted on: two blue triangles for eyes, a flat brown rectangle for a nose, and a motionless, oval-shaped mouth with thin yellow lips. Its frizzled, reddish-brown hair extended from beneath a tall pointed hat adorned with a black knob, and its high-collared suit showcased a mix of red and green. Wooden antennae protruded from its head, wrists, and ankles, leaving us uncertain whether they were part of its costume or its body.

Despite its shyness, the clown-being displayed a friendly disposition. It expressed fear of humans and a reluctance to defend itself. It claimed to drink "cleaned" water from the stream, consumed wild berries in an unusual manner, and could write in English using pencil and paper. When asked its name, it responded with "Sam" and described itself as "all colors." It denied being human but hesitated to classify itself as a ghost, stating, "Well, not really, but I am in an odd sort of way." All other inquiries about its nature were met with cryptic responses like "You know."

I swear people who complained Vol 9 is a filler are the same people who complained Team RWBY not getting much character focus and development (especially Ruby)

there's no satisfying some people (and i guarantee 'focus and development' would probably have only meant 'directly fighting the bad guys for 9 episodes straight and getting ridiculous shonen anime upgrades that come out of nowhere')
