Today I had a panic attack while driving because I was worried that I am a failure. Even though I was on my way to work, I was fired from my other job, and I've been worried ever since. So as I broke down at a stop light, I looked to all the large oak trees along the side of the road and asked for their strength and some calming energy. The tree closest to my car dropped an acorn on my window sheild, where it could ride with me all day long. Talking to trees

So about four years ago I took acid for the first time on Christmas day under a full moon. Me and my friends went for a walk in a public park and during the peak of the trip we came across a tree. As you’d expect the tree was multi-coloured. However this wasn’t just some visual entertainment, this was the tree showing me an aspect of itself. Communicating with me. Since that day trees have never been the same. I can now talk to trees. And hear them in my head. Not their voices per say just my mind translating the feeling that they are emanating. I don’t hear people talking about this enough. It makes me feel insane because that’s how people react to you but there’s just something deep down in me that I know it’s real. They’re rooted directly into the Earth. I don’t think this is something to be glazed over. I saw a Ted Talk by Suzanne Simard where she talks about how there’s an underground network like the internet that connects all trees. In the video she talks about how parent trees recognise their young and send them information and minerals when needed. Over the years I’ve communicated with many trees. I go to them to complain about humanity a lot and they always make me think twice having that perspective so I know it’s not my thoughts. The ones I’ve met always remind me that I too am human and humanity is not all bad despite everything that’s happened. In general when I talk the trees I’m close to I’ll turn up all flustered and unload my all my problems and they help me find a balanced perspective again. Does anybody else talk to nature?
