So if you're not familiar with how "Sports Man And Famous Girlfriend" is played, any subpar performance on Sports Man's part will be blamed on Famous Girlfriend, and fans of the Sports Man's Sports Team will say some really extraordinarily misogynist things about her.

The funny part about the Travis Kelce/Taylor Swift round of the game is that Swifties are absolutely going to square up with anyone who breathes the slightest hint of negativity toward their queen, and in a stand-up internet fight between NFL fans and Swifties I know who I'd put my money on -- but that doesn't mean the dudes wearing cop shades in their profile pics are gonna go down easy.

Complicating matters is Taylor's recent statement that she has never dated any women, which has majorly pissed off the weird Secret Lesbian Taylor conspiracy theorists (even though she has never actually pretended to be wlw in any capacity, and frankly presents as the straightest woman in show business). I expect only a few will turn away from her altogether, but will some of them opt not to defend her from the consequences of a hetero relationship?

I have no personal beef against Kelce but I feel like I need him to drop a touchdown pass in the next game just so I can see how this plays out.

i think people forget how much winning awards relies on fans. at a certain point the music quality doesn't even matter. like, taylor swift could release an album right now that is so bad, like genuinely garbage, and it would shoot to number 1, break records, and win all the awards. the swifties are just that loyal. it doesn't matter if she makes good music anymore. it will win.
