And BEFORE you guys come at me with pitchforks and whatnot, take a look at hanako's introduction from season 1 VS mei's introduction this season, you'll notice HUGE lack of flair and style for the recent season

I don't think any of you understand how much this scene means to me.

Kou was so desperate to understand Mitsuba that he was gonna kill himself and leave his family, his dreams, his friends behind. That's how much he was willing to give just to be with him and make sure he doesn't feel alone anymore. I am so normal about them...

Also I'm so glad they didn't mess this scene up and make it look ugly, i appreciate how beautiful it looks and how well drawn it is
