Can we normalize NOT romaticizing noncon?

I keep seeing character x reader fics where character is LITERALLY HARASSING the reader and its automatically okay ebcause the character just so happens to be attractive?? How does that make it okay?

When I was growing up my elementary school was near my house so I was allowed to walk home and out of the blue this random middle aged man start following me as a kid I always gave him the benefit of the doubt since he left before I reached my house (becauses of police cars)until it happen three days in a row and I was getting scared and one day there was no police car and he kept following so I start running and he was CHASING AFTER ME and I was like 10 so I was crying home to my grandpa and the man was standing outside my house with his phone taking pictures of my address so my grandpa called the cops and the man had multiple restraining orders against him for stalking people.

That shit wasn't funny in anyway shape or form so when you romanticize it with different characters its fucking weird. "Oh I dont support this in real life!" clearly you do because your writing a fic about it?I was originally gonna ignore these posts but when I saw one of bsd x minor!reader it genuinly triggered me cause don't you have better shit to do in your freetime?

One of my favorite hobbies is arguing with people who swear to GOD that Mizuki is a man, so here are all of my arguments !!!

Mizuki can only wear the feminine versions of outfits. Yes, there are male and female versions. She can only wear the female versions.

In Mizu5, she was MORTIFIED when she was referred to as a boy. That explains itself.

Before she transitioned, the mirror in her room was covered up by a cloth, signaling possible body dysmorphia. (I’m so sorry i love you Mizuki <3)

People use the excuse ‘oh he’s a femboy’ ughhhhh…

Nothing wrong with femboys obviously, but she is so obviously trying to present as a WOMAN and only a woman. Also, cross dressing really isn’t looked down on in Japan from what I’ve heard (don’t quote me on that), but being trans still is. We know that Mizuki is being bullied. It’s way more likely that she’s being bullied because she’s trans.

This is the one that pisses me off — people only started calling her a man when the implications of her being trans were pointed out. If her story was like Mafuyu’s or smth, you guys wouldn’t have questioned her gender at all. This isn’t about the story, this is about people being transphobic.

Also she sings villain, which from what I’ve heard is about gender and pushing against social norms. ‘Mafuyu sings it too!!!’ The song is also about individuality. Mafuyu singing it makes perfect sense.

A group of rapists and date rapists in prison were interviewed on what they look for in a potential victim and here are some interesting facts: 1] The first thing men look for in a potential victim is hairstyle. They are most likely to go after a woman with a ponytail, bun! , braid, or other hairstyle that can easily be grabbed. They are also likely to go after a woman with long hair. Women with short hair are not common targets. 2] The second thing men look for is clothing. They will look for women who’s clothing is easy to remove quickly. Many of them carry scissors around to cut clothing. 3] They also look for women using their cell phone, searching through their purse or doing other activities while walking because they are off guard and can be easily overpowered. 4] The number one place women are abducted from / attacked at is grocery store parking lots. 5] Number two is office parking lots/garages. 6] Number three is public restrooms. 7] The thing about these men is that they are looking to grab a woman and quickly move her to a second location where they don’t have to worry about getting caught. 8] If you put up any kind of a fight at all, they get discouraged because it only takes a minute or two for them to realize that going after you isn’t worth it because it will be time-consuming. 9] These men said they would not pick on women who have umbrellas,or other similar objects that can be used from a distance, in their hands. 10] Keys are not a deterrent because you have to get really close to the attacker to use them as a weapon. Toss it away from you…. chances are that he is more interested in your wallet and/or purse than you and he will go for the wallet/purse. RUN LIKE MAD IN THE OTHER DIRECTION! 3. If you are ever thrown into the trunk of a car: Kick out the back tail lights and stick your arm out the hole and start waving like crazy. The driver won’t see you but everybody else will. This has saved lives. 4. Women have a tendency to get into their cars after shopping,eating, working, etc., and just sit (doing their checkbook, or making a list, etc. DON’T DO THIS! The predator will be watching you, and this is the perfect opportunity for him to get in on the passenger side,put a gun to your head, and tell you where to go. AS SOON AS YOU CLOSE the DOORS , LEAVE.  

5. A few notes about getting into your car in a parking lot, or parking garage: a. Be aware: look around your car as someone may be hiding at the passenger side , peek into your car, inside the passenger side floor, and in the back seat. ( DO THIS TOO BEFORE RIDING A TAXI CAB) . b. If you are parked next to a big van, enter your car from the passenger door. Most serial killers attack their victims by pulling them into their vans while the women are attempting to get into their cars. c. Look at the car parked on the driver’s side of your vehicle, and the passenger side. If a male is sitting alone in the seat nearest your car, you may want to walk back into the mall, or work, and get a guard/policeman to walk you back out. IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY. (And better paranoid than dead.)  

6. ALWAYS take the elevator instead of the stairs. (Stairwells are horrible places to be alone and the perfect crime spot). 7. If the predator has a gun and you are not under his control, ALWAYS RUN! The predator will only hit you (a running target) 4 in 100 times; And even then, it most likely WILL NOT be a vital organ. RUN! 8. As women, we are always trying to be sympathetic: STOP IT! It may get you raped, or killed. Ted Bundy, the serial killer, was a good-looking, well educated man, who ALWAYS played on the sympathies of unsuspecting women. He walked with a cane, or a limp, and often asked “for help” into his vehicle or with his vehicle, which is when he abducted his next victim.

A/N: If we get 100 notes on this I’ll make an angst part 3 </3 ALSO this can be read on its own. It’s just the same storyline.

“This is humiliating..”

Draco Malfoy, the prince of Slytherin, the heir to the Malfoy throne, Harry Potter’s rival—you get it. Slytherin’s pride and joy.

..was currently being dragged around like a pitiful wet cat. Or maybe a pitiful wet ferret? No, he would glare at you if you said that.

You glanced over at his filthy form. Professor Moody turned him into a ferret a few minutes ago, and watched as he scurried around.. and now, he’s back to a human. However, the ground was damp and muddy from some rain, it couldn’t have been clean.. so you were taking him back to the common room, to hopefully fix up his disheveled appearance.

You let out a soft hum, a subtle rumble in your throat as your eyes wandered over his figure. Usually so proper and pristine.. not anymore, it seems.

“It’s really not that bad, Draco. We just need to fix your hair and your robes..” your words fell on deaf ears as he scoffed, giving you a hard nudge and an even harder glare—“It was humiliating! Being tossed around like some puppet—Who does he think he is?! My father will be hearing about this..”

You rolled your eyes at his iconic line, using your hand to mock him, “Right, right.. Of course.”

Draco looked over at you, clearly irked by your lack of concern. “Why are you so calm?! You just watched me get thrown around, and all you have to say is ‘of course’?!”—He spat, his brows furrowed. He was being a bit more defiant and resistant than usual, to try and mend his bruised ego. Not like it mattered.. you’ve seen him in far more embarrassing situations.

You tugged on his wrist to make him walk faster, looking ahead as your footsteps echoed through the empty halls of Hogwarts. “Oh, relax. You were cute as a ferret. I’ve seen way more embarrassing stuff here..” you trailed off, thinking back to when Weasley coughed up slugs. You scrunched your face up in disgust, and you shook the thought off, mentally scolding yourself for being freaked out by your own thoughts..

Your mental conflict prevented you from noticing how Draco’s cheeks dusted with pink when he heard you refer to him as ‘cute’.. he stubbornly looked to the side, going quiet as his expression softened.

You two were now walking in comfortable silence.. you were quietly debating where to even start fixing up your friend’s appearance, and Draco was trying to ignore how his heart was doing flips every time you looked at him. He let out an annoyed huff as he composed himself, his eyes meeting yours with a scowl. “Why do you keep looking at me? You’ll run us into a wall, you idiot..”

You rolled your eyes at his snarky tone, and you stopped walking, taking a quick step towards him. He froze, his breath hitching. His eyes were locked onto yours. Meanwhile, your gaze was focused on his cheek. You used your thumb to gently wipe a subtle speck of dirt off of him.

After that, you took a step back and you kept walking with him, not missing how he seemed to let out a breath of relief once you pulled away. “What the hell was that?! First you call me cute, then you do..” he paused, trying to get out the words that were stuck in his throat.. “that..?!”

You shrugged, heading inside the Slytherin common room, through the chilly halls, down the winding stairs, then to your dorm. You grabbed a few towels from the bathrooms, getting one of them wet. “First of all,” You twisted the towel in your hands, wringing the majority of the water out, “You were adorable.. second of all, sit on the bed, so I can clean you up..”

Draco’s cheeks flushed before he reluctantly sat down. He rested his hands in his lap, unsure of what to do at the moment. Unsure of why he was feeling so nervous.. the word ‘adorable’ echoed in his mind. “Don’t—..don’t call me that..” He couldn’t help but feel strangely hesitant right now. His words were softer, as he desperately clung to his composure.

You sat in front of him, and he made room for you on the bed, scooting backwards against your bed frame. “Of course, Prince Malfoy..~” you mused out, focusing on cleaning off his face with the damp towel you held in between your fingers.

Draco’s ears went red upon hearing that. Prince? That name was oddly.. nice. And hearing you call him that along with your teasing tone and close proximity.. He pursed his lips, looking away as he pretended to be unbothered, “Don’t call me that either..” he mumbled out, his hand slowly finding its way to your waist, holding you close.

You sighed once more at your friend’s constant attitude. You began to dry his soft blonde locks off with a towel, shaking his head around like he was a dog. “Whatever.. by the way, I’m definitely getting detention for helping you run away from Professor Moody..” you let out a soft huff at the thought of detention.. maybe Draco would manage to get you two out of it. He always did.

Draco gave you an unimpressed look, not yet letting go of your waist. He leaned back against the headboard, his eyes still trained on you and you alone. “What did you expect? You know he’s crazy.. I bet he’ll be on us ten times more now.” He frowned at the mere thought of that guy, scoffing in irritation. “He’s so weird.. totally crazy.”

You shrugged, grabbing a hairbrush from your dresser, combing through his disheveled, fluffy locks. “Eh.. it was worth it.”

Draco nodded, his heart doing flips in his chest. The fact that you said it was “worth it” to get detention.. for him?

…

He couldn’t help but let out a soft huff, trying to ignore how you were somehow worming your way even more into his heart with every single thing you said and did. “..Yeah, yeah.. It was worth it.”

You kept fixing up his messy appearance, and you bit your lip to stifle your laughter—“I didn’t know ferrets were so dirty~” earning a glare from your friend—“Shush. Shut up.” He sounded like a pouty child from your perspective. Demanding attention, barking out orders..

However on Draco’s end..

Draco was trying to ignore the way he found your touch.. soothing. Calm, comforting..

He found himself enjoying the soft touch of your hands, the delicate gestures, your gentle touches as you tried to tidy him up.

He tried his best to hide his facial expressions however.. but he was failing at it miserably. He was red as he looked at you, and those.. stupid.. warm, soft, comforting eyes..

…

Eventually, you leaned back, giving Draco some much needed space as you admired your work. You had to admit, your own attention to detail was impressive.. Draco looked good as new.

Draco just silently watched as you finished tidying him up. He liked this.. he liked the feeling of your gentle, soft hands gently brushing up against him.. he felt.. almost hypnotized, in a weird way, by the way your touch felt so calming..

Draco’s appearance was completely tidied up now, and he silently wondered how you were so good at such things. How could one person be so.. talented at so many things, and also just be an amazing person overall? How did someone like you even exist, in a world like this?

His thoughts were cut short when you swung your legs over the side of the bed, and you hopped off of it, holding your hand out for Draco. “Come on. Let’s head back to class.”

Draco looked up at you with an expression you could only describe as a mix of awe and adoration. He quickly shook this off, and he took your hand, hastily pulling himself up. The cool metal of his ring against your finger sent a subtle shiver down your spine.

Your hands stayed together for a moment longer than necessary, as if you both truly didn’t want to let go. Eventually, you two pulled away, and you walked out of the room together, fingers brushing against each other ever so slightly every step you took.

Halfway through the walk, you grabbed his wrist, pulling himself closer. “Hold still..”

Draco immediately froze when he felt your hand grabbing his wrist. He stopped walking, and he turned his head to look at you, raising an eyebrow.

An amused smirk was on his face, but he was also curious as to why you wanted him stand still all of a sudden. “What?”—his words were cut short when you leaned in. You stood in front of him, reaching in with practiced precision, as you gently tucked a stray piece of platinum blonde hair behind Draco’s ear. You stepped back to admire your work. “There.. much better.”

Draco could feel his face heating up, and he found himself getting extremely flustered again. His heart was pounding, and his face was red… all just because you tucked a stray piece of hair behind his ear… in a completely platonic, friendly way. Right—right..

He suddenly felt warmth rise in his chest, and he felt.. strangely happy. He also felt a bit stupid because of how much of an effect something so.. small.. had on him. “..Oh.” He mumbled weakly, as he struggled to find proper words to say.

His throat went dry, and he suddenly felt incredibly speechless. He felt awkward, almost.. embarrassed.

All because you.. touched his hair. He just.. he didn’t know if he could take it anymore. He was so stupidly fond of this boy, and he was just realizing that there was no way he could ignore any feelings he had for you at this point.. he was too far gone.

You glanced at his flustered expression, giving him a quick look from head to toe, going with the idea that his brain short-circuited. You shrugged, and you grabbed the sleeve of his robes to drag him along.

The Hogwarts Express was known to be a long, hectic ride due to all of the sights you’ll see, and the things that could happen during the trip. Nervous students, first years that just wouldn’t sit down even if Dumbledore himself popped up and begged them to—you get it.

But thankfully, Draco Lucius Malfoy didn’t have to deal with any of that! No, never. He always sat with the same person, every single ride, to and from Hogwarts. His dear childhood friend. Y/N L/N.

His calm, patient, quiet friend. Also known as the polar opposite of him.

Usually, Draco would be ranting about quidditch strategies, debating with you which ones were the best and which ones could work in theory.. or maybe he would be complaining about how much he hates Harry Potter, while you silently wondered why on earth he let someone bother him this much..—But your thoughts would inevitably be interrupted by him betting an insanely outrageous amount of Galleons on the idea that he’ll manage to one-up Potter this year.. and you’d always collect that money at the end of the year once he lost, as he begrudgingly handed it to you like a disappointed toddler.

However, today none of that was happening! No. Draco was staring at you, brows furrowed, eyes narrowed—Confusion was written all over his face as he tried to decipher why the hell you were being so quiet right now? Yeah, you’re usually quiet, but not silent..

Eventually, he grew tired of this. He nudged your side, earning a soft glare from you. He scoffed at that look, and he finally broke the silence—“What the hell is your problem???” He hissed out, his tone accusatory despite his genuine concern hiding beneath the surface.

His words only earned an eye roll from you, as you dismissed his concerns with a wave of your hand, “It’s nothing.”

His reaction mirrored your previous response, rolling his eyes at that obvious lie. “Oh, really? It’s ‘nothing’? You look like death himself.”

You shot him a harder glare for that one, and you adjusted yourself in your seat, sitting up as you leaned forward to finally give him a real conversation. “Oh, really? You have dark circles.”

He pursed his lips at that, giving you an unimpressed look. He recovered in usual Draco fashion, with a scoff and a snarky remark right back, “Oh, whatever. Mine are charming. Yours make you look like you crawled out of a grave.”

You shot him an unimpressed look right back for that recovery, and you lightly shoved him in his seat, evoking a yelp of surprising mixed with offense—“How dare you? You’ll ruin my robes..” you just rolled your eyes in irritation, propping your chin up against your palm as you kept your gaze on the window.

Draco’s gaze softened, now noting the fact that you were genuinely upset about something. He frowned, sitting up as he dusted himself up.

He knew pestering you wouldn’t help.. but what would?

Then it clicked.

Sweets.

Anyone that knew Y/N L/N knew that he had the biggest sweet tooth in all of Europe. There was no doubt.

The trolley passed by with a loud shuffle, and Draco was greeted by the woman running the stall. “Hello, dear. Would you like something from the trolley?”

He nodded, and he picked out some mini-cakes.. he himself found these things overbearingly sweet.. but every time he gave them to you, he swore he saw stars in your eyes.

The lady left, heading to the next group of people. Draco glanced over at you, and he nudged you lightly, his tone and overall demeanor uncharacteristically soft. “Hey.”

You turned around to him, expecting him to sneer or poke fun at someone.. but you were greeted with a fork pressed into your space, with a piece of cake at the end of it.

You raised an eyebrow, backing away to give yourself some personal space—“What’s this?”—you had to stop yourself from eyeing the food in front of you, tearing your gaze away from it and opting to focus on Draco instead. (Big back.)

Draco gave you a deadpan look, and he raised an eyebrow, pushing the sweet treat towards you. “What do you think it is? It’s a cake, genius. Eat it.”

You scoffed, pushing the sweet away. “Why did you get that? You always complain about hating them. What’s different now?”

He grew tired of this back and forth, and he shoved the fork in your mouth, “For Merlin’s sake—just eat the bloody thing!”

You were unable to protest with sugar coating your tongue, so you gave in, swallowing the food. You pulled away and scoffed at him, wiping your mouth with the back of your hand as you poked fun at his sudden thoughtful gesture. “What, are you going to feed me now? You’re acting like my mother.”

His cheeks dusted pink at the mere idea of feeding you, and he looked away for a moment out of pure embarrassment.. Then he finally looked back, answering your previous jab in a curt, sharp manner—“Maybe I will. Now, open.” His words almost felt like a scolding, his tone stern and on the brink of commanding.

You let out a smug sound of agreement, clearly mocking him to some degree. “Ah.. right, right.. ordering me around now? How new.” Despite your snarky comments, you let him feed you this delicious treat without much protest.

Draco was taken aback by your actions. He expected you to shake your head or swat the fork away—but no! You just went with it. That was it.

Draco stared for a few moments, slightly in shock.. before he regained his composure. He carefully lifted the cake up to his friend’s mouth, a soft blush still on his cheeks. “..Idiot..” He muttered softly..

You enjoyed this treat, quickly reverting back to your usual good mood.. while Draco’s gaze stayed locked onto your expressions, his own expression black, aside from the subtle blush dusting his cheeks. He shook his head to clear his thoughts, and he fed you until the cake was gone.

When the trolly lady came back around, you got something for Draco this time! And the process continued..

OKK!!! How Draco acted around you is based on a bunch of things tbh. If you’re in the same house as him, if you’re friends with Harry, if you knew him beforehand, etc.

Let’s just explore all of these topics, since they eventually lead to the same outcome !!!

IF you’re in the same house as him, he already likes you to an extent. He values Slytherin more than any other house, so he has a good opinion of you just because of that. If you’re a Ravenclaw, he doesn’t hate you (since Ravenclaws are just more laidback, far less aggressive versions of Slytherin’s lmao) If you’re a Hufflepuff.. he probably compares you to a dog in his mind lol. Loyal and friendly. He thinks both of those traits are foolish. (He canonically suppresses all good sides of himself, and he rejects compassion, so he may even feel a little envious.. </3)

If you’re a Gryffindor, he hates you. He thinks you’re so annoying, he just completely judges you based on your house. Someone (probably Blaise) would have to push him to get to know you.

If you’re friends with Harry.. ugh. He thinks you have bad taste, first of all. Second of all, Draco is mainly just jealous of Harry, so you being around him is sort of a part of that. He just dislikes you and he views you as an extension of Harry—it’s hard to explain. (Hope I did a good enough job 😭)

But for the sake of him actually being nice to you, let’s say you two become friends. You’d either have to impress him, or possibly be his friend beforehand. Maybe you’re really good at Quidditch or anything revolving the wizarding world. Regardless, you two don’t hate each other. Great!

So first of all, his love languages are most likely gift giving, maybe acts of service? (As in you doing things for him lmao) And words of affirmation.

He likes buying things for you, he has plenty of money to go around to any hobbies, or clothes—anything you want, or even show slight interest in, it’s yours. An owl will deliver it in five hours, keep your dorm window open.

His nicknames for you are definitely elegant, they’ve gotta have that regal vibe to them, you know?

If you call him your prince, he will MELT. Whatever you want, you’ll get it. Just keep calling him that.

If you’d like to cause mischief and mayhem together, bullying Harry and his friends is a great pastime </3 (I do NOT agree with this statement..)

But if you want him to back off and be a bit nicer.. he’ll never be nice to Harry, or that mudblood, or that poor ginger.. but he’ll lay off. He won’t be as bad to them. He’s still a dick, don’t get me wrong, but he tries for you. That’s something, right?

He lovessss sneaking out with you. I don’t have proof I can just feel it.

If you have an owl, or a cat, he probably tries to have a good relationship with it. You’ll occasionally find him asleep with your dear companion.

His favorite days are slow, rainy days in his common room or dorm where he can just sit with you. Your hands threading through his pale locks, his head in your lap.. it’s all just so peaceful, he savors these moments.

If you two ever had a fight, I feel like he would come off strong, then when he’s alone, he would rethink everything and get mad at himself.

In the moment, he’s stubborn and cruel as a way to protect himself, but then he realizes what he’s done, and..

This leads to someone knocking on your door in a panic.

He would 100% try and buy your love back, with your favorite snacks, flowers, clothes—anything. He just needs you back.

He’s a sweetheart, I promise.

He loves you so much, he just has a hard time showing it.

But if you’re patient, he’ll put in the work too.
