What Do Tech Advisors Do?

You may wonder “What does a Technology Advisor do every day?”  Well, I wonder too, so I culled the TeamLogic IT logs for the past few weeks and here a few examples.

1.    Stupid is as Stupid Does

I have a client that declined to pay for offsite backups, and has just been hit with the “.adobe” variant of the dharma crypto malware.  After a bunch of searching, I've not found a decryption tool (it’s a relatively recent variant I gather). Is anyone aware of a tool that might work to decrypt this strain of malware?

No, there is no tool. Do not decline off-site back up. We know what we’re talking about.

2.    Gmail and Office 365

I have a client with exchange server 2010 running on a SBS2011 server. When they attempt to send any emails to gmail addresses they get the bounce back below. Clients states that this started happening in the November time frame and was previously working just fine. mx.google.com rejected your message to the following e-mail addresses:

3.    Printer Idea

Client that requires a printer with: "that requires PIN code (individual accounts) and tracks printing metrics by user."

Why do we like figuring this stuff out? Don’t know, don’t care. We just do.

4.    What is SEO?

 I have an e-commerce biotech company is looking for a managed SEO solution or service.

5.    It isn’t just cable companies.

All their VoIP phones are down, 2 of their 3 access points are down, 7 of their 10 workstations are down.  3 workstations are up and running and have internet as does the server. Here is what we know:

Verizon was in their office yesterday, running cable to the CEO's office to install a new cable box.  We do not know what the Verizon technician did in regards to router, server room in general.  Client says internet went out briefly while Verizon tech was there, but then came back up.  Verizon tech left about 4:30pm and all seemed okay.

We were able to resolve the issue.  Although Verizon never accepted any responsibility.

ရုရှား-ယူကရိန်း ကျူးကျော်စစ်ဒဏ်ကြောင့် ရုရှားပြည်သူတွေ ဒေဝါလီခံကြလွန်းလို့ ကြွေးရှင်တွေလည်း ကြွေးမရ မှာကိုတွေးပြီး ပူတင်ကို ပြောရပါတော့တယ်။ ဒီလိုနဲ့ ရုရှားမှာဆို အခုနှစ် ဧပြီလကနေ အောက်တိုဘာလ ကုန်အ ထိတော့ ဒေဝါလီခံတာကို တားမြစ်မိန့်ထုတ်ထားရပါတယ်။

ဒီလိုပဲ ရုရှား-ယူကရိန်းစစ်ကြောင့် အီးယူကလည်း အတော်ပဲ အခက်တွေ့နေရတာပါ။ ပြင်သစ်သမ္မတ အီမန်နျူ ရယ်မက်ခရွန်ဆို သူ့ပြည်သူတွေကို လျှပ်စစ်မီးကိစ္စတောင့်ခံကြဖို့ ကြိုမှာထားရပါတယ်။

တဖက်မှာလည်း အမေရိ ကန် ဗဟိုဘဏ်အတိုးနှုန်းလျှော့ချလိုက်တာကလည်း လူပြောစရာဖြစ်နေသလို အိမ်နီးချင်း သီရိလင်္ကာကတော့ ကြေးနွံနစ်၊ စီးပွားပျက်ပြီး သမ္မတတောင် ထွက်ပြေးသွားရတာပါ။

မြန်မာ့စီးပွားရေးကိုကြည့်တော့လည်း ပြီးခဲ့တဲ့ ၂၀၂၁ မှာ စီးပွားရေးက ၁၈ ရာခိုင်နှုန်းကျဆင်းခဲ့ပါတယ်။ အခုနှစ် မှာ ၃ ရာခိုင်နှုန်းလောက် ပြန်တက်မယ်လို့ ကမ္ဘာ့ဘဏ်ကဆိုပါတယ်။

ကမ္ဘာ့ဘဏ်ရဲ့ကိန်းဂဏန်းတွေက မျက်စိရှုပ်ဖို့ကောင်းသလို သာမန်နိစ္စဓူဝလှုပ်ရှားရုန်းကန်နေရတဲ့ ပြည်သူတွေအ တွက်လည်း နားလည်ဖို့ခက်ပါတယ်။ ဒါပေမယ့် ကမ္ဘာဘဏ်ပြောတာကို အနှစ်ချုပ်ရင် မြန်မာ့စီးပွားရေးဟာ ဆိုးဆိုးရွားရွားအခြေအနေနဲ့ရင်ဆိုင်နေရတယ်လို့ ဆိုရမှာပါပဲ။

ဒီတော့ စီးပွားရေးကျပ်တည်းတဲ့ကာလမှာ ဘယ်လိုစီးပွားရေး ကို လုပ်ကြမလဲဆိုတာ ခေါင်းကိုက်ရတဲ့ ကိစ္စဖြစ်လာပါတယ်။

“ ဒီလောက်စီးပွားရေးကျပ်တည်းနေတာ ဘာလုပ်လုပ် အဆင်ပြေမှာမဟုတ်ဘူး”လို့ တချို့က စိုးရိမ်တကြီး ပြော ကြတာလည်းရှိပါတယ်။

ဒါဖြင့် စီးပွားရေးကျပ်တည်းနေချိန် ဘာမှမလုပ်ဘဲ ရှိတဲ့ငွေနဲ့ ထိုင်စားနေရမှာလား။ ဒါမျိုး လည်း မဟုတ်ပါဘူး။ ရှိတဲ့ငွေကလည်း တန်ဖိုးကျလွန်းတော့ လက်ထဲကိုင်ထားလေ တန်ဖိုးလျှော့လေမို့ ရေရှည်ကျ အဆင်ပြေမှာမဟုတ်ပါဘူး။

ဒီတော့ အလုပ်တော့လုပ်ရပါလိမ့်မယ်။ ဒါဖြင့် ဘာစီးပွားရေးလုပ်ရမလဲ။ ဘယ်လိုစီး ပွားရေးတွေက အလုပ်ဖြစ်မလဲဆိုတဲ့ မေးခွန်းပေါ်ထွက်လာပါတယ်။ ဒီမေးခွန်းနှစ်ခုက ဆက်စပ်နေပြီး အဖြေက တော့ အတူတူပဲဖြစ်ပါလိမ့်မယ်။

စိတ်ဓာတ်မကျနဲ့ဦး

ကမ္ဘာ့စီးပွားပျက်ကပ်၊ နိုင်ငံစီးပွားပျက်ကပ်စသည်ဖြင့်ရှိပါတယ်။ ဒါပေမယ့် ဒီလိုစီးပွားပျက်ကပ်ကြုံတာဟာ ကမ္ဘာ ကြီးထဲက ဒါမှမဟုတ် နိုင်ငံထဲက စီးပွားရေးလုပ်ငန်းတွေအားလုံး(အားလုံး) စီးပွားရေးကျဆင်းနေတာမျိုးတော့ မဟုတ်ပါဘူး။ တချို့နယ်ပယ်တွေမှာ ပိုလို့တောင် စီးပွားရေးကောင်းလာတာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

ဥပမာပြောရရင် ၂၀၀၈ စီးပွားပျက်ကပ်ကြီးအတွင်းမှာ ချောကလက် သကြားလုံးတွေထုတ်တဲ့ Candy Industry ဟာ ဖွံ့ဖြိုးလာပါတယ်။ ဈေးမကြီးတာက ခေတ်အခြေအနေနဲ့ ကိုက်ညီသလို တခြားအကြောင်းတွေလည်း ရှိပါ တယ်။ ချောကလက်ထုတ်တဲ့ Cadbury ဆို ရောင်းအား ၃၀ ရာခိုင်နှုန်းတက်သွားပါတယ်။ နာမည်ကြီး Nestle က တော့ အဲဒီကာလမှာ ၁၁ ရာခိုင်နှုန်းရောင်းအားတက်ပါတယ်။

ကလေးကစားစရာအရုပ်တွေရောင်းတဲ့ Lego လည်း ထို့အတူပါပဲ။ Lego ဆို ကမ္ဘာ့ဈေးကွက်ကို ချိတ်ဆက်ဖို့ အဲဒီ အချိန်ကြီးမှာမှ ဆုံးဖြတ်ခဲ့တာပါ။

နားမရှုပ်သွားပါနဲ့။ ပျက်နေတာတွေကို ပြင်ပေးတဲ့လုပ်ငန်းတွေ၊ မပျက်သေးတာကို ရေရှည်သုံးနိုင်အောင် ထိန်း သိမ်းပေးတဲ့လုပ်ငန်းတွေကို ပြောတာပါ။ ပစ္စည်းတစ်ခုပျက်သွားရင် ဝင်ငွေမကောင်းတော့ အသစ်မဝယ်နိုင်ခင် ပြင်ကြည့်မယ်ဆို ဒီလိုဆိုင်တွေကို ရောက်ရတာပါပဲ။

အဓိကပြောချင်တာကတော့ သွင်းကုန်ပိတ်သွားရင်၊ FDI တွေထွက်သွားရင် သူတို့ဈေးကွက်ကို ဝင်ယူနိုင်မယ့် ကုန် ပစ္စည်းထုတ်လုပ်ဖို့ပါ။ ဒါဟာ သွင်းကုန်အစားထိုးလည်းဖြစ်လို့ မူဝါဒချမှတ်သူတွေဆီက ဥပဒေနဲ့အညီ မက်လုံး လည်း ရနိုင်ပါတယ်။

ဈေးကွက်သဘောအရတော့ စီးပွားရေးကျပ်တည်းချိန်မှာတောင် အဖျော်ယမကာက အခြေအနေကောင်းပါတယ်။ အထူးသဖြင့် ဈေးပေါတဲ့ယမကာတွေပါ။ လူတွေဟာ စီးပွားရေးကျပ်တည်းချိန်မှာ ဈေးပေါတဲ့ယမကာကိုပဲ စိတ် ထွက်ပေါက်အနေနဲ့ သောက်ကြရာက စွဲလန်းသွားတာပါ။ ဒါ့ကြောင့်လည်း ခေတ်အဆက်ဆက် ပန်းပန်နေတဲ့ ဈေး ကွက်ပါ။

ဒါက ဈေးကွက်သဘောတရားအရ ပြောတာပါ။ လုပ်ဖို့တိုက်တွန်းတာမဟုတ်ပါဘူး။ ခံယူချက်အမျိုးမျိုး ရှိကြတာမို့ ကိုယ့်ရူထောင့်နဲ့ကိုယ် ၊ ကိုယ့်ခံယူချက်နဲ့ကိုယ် ဆုံးဖြတ်ကြဖို့ပါ။

အချိုရည်လုပ်ငန်းကတော့ အရက်လောက်တော့ အမြတ်မကြီးပါဘူး။ လုပ်မယ်ဆိုရင်တော့ ဈေးကွက် ဝေစုဘယ် လိုယူမလဲစဉ်းစားဖို့ ကျွမ်းကျင်သူတွေရဲ့ အကူအညီယူရပါလိမ့်မယ်။ အိမ်ရှေ့မှာ ရေခဲခြစ်ဆိုင်ဖွင့်မယ်ဆိုလည်း ရပါတယ်။

အမြတ်မများသလို မတတ်သာလို့ ရှုံးလည်းနည်းနည်းပါပဲ။ ရေခဲချောင်းလုပ်ပြီး မြို့အနှံ့ ဖြန့်ချိတာမျိုး လည်း စဉ်းစားသင့်ပါတယ်။

(၆)စားသောက်ကုန်လုပ်ငန်း
