iPhone Case: My Latest Favourite Case
As you should all know by now, I *love* design. It’s been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Over the years, one of the areas where I’ve indulged my love for design is in my choice of smartphones. Specifically, iPhones. Now, I’m not bragging here, but I’ve had quite a collection of them over the years. Let me take you through my little iPhone timeline:
- **iPhone 3Gs (Black)**
- **iPhone 4s (Black)**
- **iPhone 6 (White)**
- **iPhone 7 (Black)**
- **iPhone 11 (Product Red)**
- **iPhone 13 Mini (Blue)**
- **iPhone 14 Pro Max (Deep Purple)**
- **iPhone 16 Pro (White Titanium)**
That’s quite a lineup, right? But as much as I’ve loved each of these phones for their features, the iPhone design isn’t complete without the right case. And believe me, I’ve tried *many* over the years—cases that were sleek, functional, sturdy, and everything in between. But nothing has come close to what I’m using now.
Tumblr media
I’m talking about the Spigen Classic C1 MagFit Case for my iPhone 16 Pro , in Tangerine. This case is simply on another level. It not only offers MagSafe compatibility, (Which is extremely useful) but it also hits a special nostalgic spot for me. Every time I look at it, I’m taken straight back to 1999. Why, you ask? It’s because this case is a direct nod to the **iMac G3**  that iconic piece of design history. The translucent back and bold colour remind me of those fun, candy-coloured desktop computers that revolutionised the way we think about technology and design.
Tumblr media
I don’t know if it’s just me being nostalgic, but there’s something about holding a phone case that takes me back to those early days of tech excitement. The Tangerine colour itself has this retro vibe that makes the case stand out in a way that’s both modern and classic at the same time. It feels like I’m carrying a piece of tech history around, but with all the benefits of modern design and functionality.
So yeah, while I’ve had many iPhones and cases over the years, this one—hands down—is my favourite. It perfectly merges the past with the present, and I absolutely love it.

Life is Growing 💾Old School to RGB Cool 🌈✨🌱
Tumblr media
💾 Remember that mythical Box? 🖥️ They were like tanks, slow as a snail, but they got the job done!
A Hilarious Throwback to '90s Computers!
That dial-up noise❓
Sounded like a dying robot📡, but it was our gateway to the internet. We played basic games, used floppy disks 💽, and printed our stuff on printers that sounded like a machine gun. 🖨️ Those mammoth monitors took up half your room, but they were our window to the digital world.
Nowadays, we've got these fancy RGB computers! 🌈✨ They're sleek, fast, and light up like a Christmas tree. 🚀 Gaming on them is like being in a movie with stunning graphics and zero lag. But let's face it, they're a bit flashy.
90's Computers Be like🗣️: Hey, You why are you glowing like a Disko Ball❗
📼 Simple games and floppy disks
🖨️ Noisy printers
💾 Huge monitors that took up half the room
🌈 RGB lights on new computers
🎮 Stunning graphics and zero lag
🚀 Sleek and fast designs
Whether you're laughing about the past or loving today's tech, computers have come a long way. From dinosaurs to these flashy machines, they keep surprising us. 🌐💻

Remember Those Unkillable Brick Phones? We Miss Them (Kinda)… #OldPhoneLove
Tumblr media
Remember those chunky bricks we used to call cell phones? The ones that could double as a doorstop and survive a nuclear winter? Yeah, those. They may be gone (RIP flip phones), but man, do they spark some serious nostalgia! Here's a trip down memory lane:
The Battery Champ: Forget scrambling for a charger every five minutes. Old phones could last for days, even weeks, on a single charge! #BatteryLifeGoals
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Snake: The Original Mobile Game: Forget fancy graphics. Snake. That's all you need for hours of pixelated fun. #ClassicGames
The Texting Struggle: Remember T9 predictive text? It was like wrestling a tiny keyboard with autocorrect on crack. But somehow, we mastered it. #T9Struggles
Ringtones of Glory: Those iconic polyphonic ringtones? They may sound hilarious now, but back then, they were the height of personalization. #RingtoneRoyalty
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Indestructible Brick: Drop it, dunk it, throw it across the room – those old phones just wouldn't die! They were built like tanks. #UnbreakablePhones
So next time you hold your sleek smartphone, take a moment to remember the OG communication devices. They may have been simple, but they were the start of something amazing! What are your favourite memories of old mobile phones? Share them in the comments!

From Floppy Disks to Fierce Connection: My First Computer Journey
Relive the early days of tech! What was your first computer like? Share your memories and celebrate how far we've come. #FierceMillennial #DigitalDen #TechTrends
Write about your first computer. Remember dial-up internet? The satisfying “thunk” of a printer spitting out dot matrix receipts? For many of us, our first computers were gateways to a whole new world. Mine was no different. A clunky beige tower with a monitor the size of a small TV, it wasn’t exactly sleek, but it opened doors I never knew existed. Learning to navigate DOS commands, the thrill…

🎄💾🗓️ Day 9: Retrocomputing Advent Calendar - The Apple Lisa 🎄💾🗓️
The Apple Lisa, introduced on January 19, 1983, was a pioneering personal computer notable for its graphical user interface (GUI) and mouse input, a big departure from text-based command-line interfaces. Featured a Motorola 68000 CPU running at 5 MHz, 1 MB of RAM (expandable to 2 MB), and a 12-inch monochrome display with a resolution of 720×364 pixels. The system initially included dual 5.25-inch "Twiggy" floppy drives, later replaced by a single 3.5-inch Sony floppy drive in the Lisa 2 model. An optional 5 or 10 MB external ProFile hard drive provided more storage.
The Lisa's price of $9,995 (equivalent to approximately $30,600 in 2023) and performance issues held back its commercial success; sales were estimated at about 10,000 units.
It introduced advanced concepts such as memory protection and a document-oriented workflow, which influenced future Apple products and personal computing.
The Lisa's legacy had a huge impact on Apple computers, specifically the Macintosh line, which adopted and refined many of its features. While the Lisa was not exactly a commercial success, its contributions to the evolution of user-friendly computing interfaces are widely recognized in computing history.
These screen pictures come from Adafruit fan Philip " It still boots up from the Twiggy hard drive and runs. It also has a complete Pascal Development System." …"mine is a Lisa 2 with the 3.5” floppy and the 5 MB hard disk. In addition all of the unsold Lisa machines reached an ignominious end."
What end was that? From the Verge -
In September 1989, according to a news article, Apple buried about 2,700 unsold Lisa computers in Logan, Utah at a very closely guarded garbage dump. The Lisa was released in 1983, and it was Apple’s first stab at a truly modern, graphically driven computer: it had a mouse, windows, icons, menus, and other things we’ve all come to expect from “user-friendly” desktops. It had those features a full year before the release of the Macintosh.

When Being Online Was Pure Magic!
There was a time when logging onto the internet was an adventure, a digital frontier brimming with excitement and wonder. I remember those days vividly. The mere act of coming online felt like opening a treasure chest full of endless possibilities. Every click, every page load, and every notification held the promise of something new and exhilarating.
YouTube was once a gateway to a world of fascinating content. I used to spend hours watching videos, diving down rabbit holes of creativity, humour, and knowledge. It was a revolutionary platform where anyone could become a creator, and everyone had a chance to discover something unique and entertaining. The novelty of user-generated content was mesmerising.
But as time passed, that magic seemed to fade. YouTube became just another app on my phone, another website in my bookmarks. The excitement of finding a new, must-watch video was replaced by a sense of routine. The platform that once felt like a playground now feels like a familiar, sometimes monotonous, part of daily life.
Remember MSN Messenger? It was the hub of my teenage social life, where every "ding" of a new message brought a rush of anticipation. The art of crafting the perfect status message or selecting the right display picture was a serious endeavour. And then there was MySpace, the social network that let you  customise your profile with your favourite music, quirky backgrounds, and top friends list. It was a place where individuality thrived.
Those platforms weren't just tools; they were experiences. They were a digital canvas where we could express ourselves, connect with friends, and explore the burgeoning online world. There's a pang of nostalgia when I think back to those simpler times. The digital landscape has changed so much since then, and sometimes it feels like we've lost something along the way.
Maybe it’s not the internet that’s changed; maybe it’s me. Growing up often means losing some of the wonder and excitement we once had for things. The thrill of discovery is replaced by familiarity, and the extraordinary becomes ordinary. I know I have normalised the incredible technology at my fingertips, taking for granted what would have once blown my mind.
The internet has become an integral part of our lives, but in doing so, it has also become mundane. Social media feeds are filled with the same recycled content, streaming services offer endless choices yet nothing truly captivates, Yes I am looking at you Amazon Prime and Netflix and even the novelty of new gadgets wears off quickly. The sense of wonder that used to accompany being online has faded, replaced by a habitual scrolling and clicking.
Oh I don’t know. I guess that’s why I started blogging in the first place somewhere to put all my collective thoughts, regardless what they may be.
Never mind, I am off to bed it’s 2.45am here in the United Kingdom.
Until next time!
