When writing song lyrics inspiration can come from anywhere if i choose to acknowledge it in the moment. Usually stemming from life experience, dreams, legends and fables, my lyrics always carry a lesson no matter how minimal or obscure they may seem. i also include tarot as a way of finding inspiration- often picking a specific deck for a certain song or album; the imagery and interpretations of the cards spark ideas or feelings that become stories. i’ve always been impressed with the limitless wisdom and uses for tarot in my life.
