UM. but. hi hello maul and savage you say? if i do remember so correctly because i have no idea where this lore is written down,

to give the short version of mauls lore and the context: maul was still bisected on naboo, but his cries through the force for help were answered by two jedi (a mind healer and a metalworker) who spent ten years rehabbing him on-planet before taking the chance to introduce him to the jedi temple on coruscant. he prefers to stay in the artisan halls with his master, but also takes great joy in interacting with padawans as a babysitter. he loves the little ones even if hes unsure of ever taking on a padawan himself.

in context of savage (who is now renamed chavra) - the basic premise of him being hand-chosen by ventress is still true, and he still kills jedi master halsey on devaron. but upon turning and seeing little knox prepared to die in defense of himself and the jedi, he just. snaps right out of it. fuck no hes not killing this little tadpole. so he turns himself in.

maul, who anxiously kept himself templebound just in case sidious was a little silly (and he was aware of his masquerade as palpatine), heard the news. ventress' toy would be joining them in the temple soon. he is the first to greet him, and naturally is very protective of who heals him and supervises him. i think the same mind healer that helped maul ends up taking charge of this, just for maul to have some sense of peace.

chavra actually does end up as a crechemaster, further on past the war!

(and as a bonus, feral [now renamed djoli] will join the order as well. i dont remember his role but they have a happy reunited family just because i think they fucking deserve it)
