Know Whether Pressure Washing Your Tennis Court is Possible or Not
Are you looking forward to cleaning your tennis court so tennis players can have smooth gameplay? Opt for the best solution to do it! If you are thinking of pressure washing the area, you are unquestionably on the right track. It can not only help remove dirt and debris but also prolong the life of the court’s surface. But is pressure washing possible on your tennis court? The concern is common nowadays, and that’s why this discussion is important for you. But for the record, whatever cleaning method you choose, consider hiring the best professionals offering tennis court cleaning in Sydney to make the process efficient.
Is It Possible to Pressure Wash Your Tennis Court?
Whatever your tennis court type is, pressure washing is possible on it. Since the surface is hard, pressure washing is the most effective method. The high pressure of water can undoubtedly help remove debris, dirt, and even stubborn stains from the area. But make sure that the process is carried out properly; otherwise, it can damage your tennis court.
Steps to Properly Pressure Wash Your Tennis Court
Below are a few steps that you should consider following when pressure washing your tennis court:
The first step is to clear any debris or obstructions from your tennis court. This helps ensure proper accessibility to all parts of the surface. This way, you can also avoid damaging any objects on your court.
Consider setting up the pressure washer. You can do this by connecting a high-pressure hose to the equipment and attaching a nozzle that perfectly matches the type of surface your tennis court has.
Use a back-and-forth motion to use your pressure washer and begin from one end of the court. Create a slight angle to hold the nozzle in order to prevent the surface from getting damaged.
Consider using different nozzles or adjusting the water pressure with the same nozzle as you move across the area. This can easily help you remove stubborn stains from the surface.
Once it is done, use a broom to sweep away any remaining loose debris or dirt.
Let your court dry before you start to use it again.
Opt for the best pressure cleaning in Sydney in order to make the process efficient and effective. They know and have a better understanding of how to do it.
Has your confusion been cleared? Now, you should consider looking for professionals who are well-versed in pressure washing tennis courts. This is suggested because you don’t have any experience or expertise to properly deal with it, and, thereby, you can put the task and your court at risk. They are trained and experienced, which makes them perfect for the job!

House Cleaning Services in Brisbane
There are many factors to consider before hiring house cleaning Brisbane. The rate for cleaning a house can vary wildly depending on the type of cleaning that needs to be done. Some companies charge hourly rates, while others charge flat fees based on square footage or number of rooms. Regardless of the method used, you should expect to pay between $100 and $300 per hour for the cleaning. And don't forget that your final price will depend on the speed in which the cleaners complete the job.
Typically, cleaning services provide their own cleaning supplies, but it's worth asking whether or not they use green products. Ask the cleaners which cleaning products they use, as these could be harmful to your home. Moreover, you can always make it clear if you prefer to use green cleaning products. This way, you can tailor your cleaning plan to fit your lifestyle and budget. If you don't have the time to clean your home, a house cleaning service can take care of that chore for you.
Many individual house cleaners don't use a formal system, but most small businesses are more than happy to work with you in a more structured way. Make sure to negotiate a written agreement with your house cleaning service before hiring them. You can specify the number of cleaning tasks that you want performed, the price, and the days and times you'd like the cleaning to take place. These documents will help you set expectations and clarify any misunderstandings.
There are many types of house cleaning services. For instance, you can have regular cleaning performed every week, or you can request a deep cleaning for once-in-a-while. A deep cleaning service can be tailored to your needs and can be customized to suit your needs, whether you're expecting visitors or just want to give your house a thorough cleaning for regular cleaning. By hiring a house cleaning service, you'll be able to enjoy a stress-free life and enjoy your time.
When hiring house cleaning services, consider the frequency of cleaning and the number of bedrooms. If you have a large home, a lot of bedrooms will require more time, so your cleaning company should increase the rate of the job as more rooms are cleaned. If you're looking for a regular cleaner, you can start with a flat rate and increase the rate when you add more bedrooms. The more bedrooms you have, the more money you'll be spending on supplies.
The cost of house cleaning services varies greatly, but the typical rate is between $116 and $235 per hour. Some companies charge only $50 for general cleaning and only clean one room per visit, while others charge around $200 per visit. Individual cleaners usually charge less than professional house cleaning services, but they have a reputation to keep. And if you're a busy person who doesn't have time to clean, hiring a house cleaning service can relieve you of a lot of stress.

RV Camping at Disney’s Fort Wilderness
If you’re like me, you hear the word “Disney” and you automatically get filled with a sense of excitement and magic! I mean they pay attention to every tiny detail and always manage to create a sense of adventure and wonderment. So, of course, Disney’s Fort Wilderness is no exception. After having spent some time there myself, I can say that it is definitely worth the trip.
Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground opened in November 1971. The resort has campsites and air-conditioned Wilderness Cabins situated on 750 acres of lush forest of pine and cypress trees. You will most likely see plenty of wildlife such as rabbits, deer, armadillos, ducks, geese, and peacocks roaming the grounds.
The campground has private sites and features all the amenities of other campgrounds, with quite a few Disney extras. It includes two heated pools that are open 24 hours a day, rental cabins, several restaurants and stores, a marina, playgrounds, tennis courts, horse and pony rides, a petting zoo, fishing, bike rentals, private carriage rides, and so much more.
To get you started, here are some tips to make sure you have a memorable stay at Fort Wilderness.
Be ready for the changing weather in Florida:
Since the campground is in Florida, it’s something the whole family can enjoy year-round. That being said, Florida’s weather can go from hot and humid to stormy—all in one day. Be ready for any type of weather by bringing shelter with bug netting (if you plan to eat outside), awning, and tarps for sudden downpours, and plenty of sunscreen.
Have a pet? Bring them along!:
Fort Wilderness is very pet-friendly and has a leash-free dog park. If you need to board your pet, the Best Friends Pet Care facility will take care of them while you visit the theme parks. For more information on pet policy, check it out here.
Rates and Sites:
First of all, to enjoy this fabulous adventure...you need an RV! We can help you with that part. We have many different RVs for you to choose from to fit your needs. All of them offer a luxurious camping experience; www.camperfunpass.com is where you start. Fort Wilderness has campsites for all sizes of RVs. Keep in mind, even with all those campsites, there are no pull-thru spots. So if you have a larger camper or trailer, you will need to back in.
The campground’s premium campsites are currently around $121 per night, versus a tent or pop-up camper site for around $78 per night. If you’re an annual passholder, you are eligible for significant discounts throughout the year. Availability varies and many times rates aren’t announced until three or four months in advance so keep an eye out.
Most sites are fairly secluded from one another by bushes and trees between sites. The campsites range in length from 25 to 60 feet. Each site is about 25 feet wide and comes with a picnic table and charcoal grill.
All sites have electricity (20/30/50 amps) and city water. There are certain full hookup sites that also provide sewer. There are also partial hookup sites, primarily used by tent campers and those with tent trailers. When
booking be sure to specify the RV’s length, if it has slide outs or awnings, and any other details about its size when making a reservation so the right sized campsite is assigned to you.
Things to bring:
Flashlight or lantern
Insect repellent
Charcoal and matches
Extension cord, rope or clothesline cord
Toolbox
Fire extinguisher
Hatchet/ax
Broom and dustpan
Trash bags
Outdoor rug
Water pressure regulator
Drinking water hose, gray water hose and holding container
Wheel chocks, leveling blocks
Roll of quarters for laundry, laundry detergent
And, of course, the keys!
Comfort Stations and Laundry Facilities:
There are a number of comfort stations located through the campground. The comfort stations are all air-conditioned and include private showers, restrooms, laundry rooms, phones, and ice machines. They are open 24 hours a day, with the exception of the laundry. The washers and dryers each cost $3. Vending machines for single-load laundry detergent, fabric softener and bleach cost about $1.
Getting around Fort Wilderness:
Unless you plan on walking endlessly all day to get to where you want to go in the campground, I highly recommend a golf cart, which we also rent out for your convenience. In case you forgot it’s...www.camperfunpass.com. Just a reminder, the campground is about 750 acres!
There are internal buses running within the campground to get you to the marina, the Trading Posts, pools, etc., but bus waits can be up to 20 minutes.
You gotta eat!:
Dining includes restaurants, dinner shows, and snack bars – all serving American food. Restaurant meals range from under $15 to $60 per person, based on the average Guest check, not including alcohol, tax and tip.
Crockett’s Tavern offers beverages and snacks such as pizza, quesadillas, etc.
Trail’s End Restaurant provides an all you can eat buffet for breakfast and dinner, a menu for lunch.
P and J’s Southern Take Out – carry-out items all day.
Chuck Wagon offers burgers, sandwiches, and salads to go.
Meadow Snack Bar offers salads, sandwiches, light snacks, and frozen treats to go.
Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue an all-you-can-eat dinner show.
You won’t be bored with many more activities:

Tips For Cleaning Roof Tiles
Cleaning roof tiles is an important task that should be performed at least twice a year to maintain the look of your home. Whether you have tiled roofing or flat roofs, there is always the chance that you will encounter lichens on the surface. This can make your house look shabby and may lead to other problems down the road. Regular cleaning roof tiles will give you a fresh new look and will also ensure the smooth drainage of rainwater.
Regardless of the age of your home, it is important to clean your roof regularly so that you don't have to pay a lot for expensive repairs. The best way to do this is by hiring a roof cleaning service. You can hire a professional to do this for you, and you can rest assured that your tiles will be clean and algae-free for a very long time. And the good thing is, there are many companies that offer this kind of service.
When cleaning your roof, you should wear protective gear and work in an area that overlaps the tiles. The best way to do this is to plan your cleaning work so that you stay on a dry spot. You should also do your cleaning in small segments over the course of a day or several hours. When it comes to the shingle roof, you can spread it out over several days to allow it time to dry completely. If you don't have the right protective gear, you can always use a cleaner made of vinegar and liquid soap.
After you have cleaned the roof tiles with a soft brush, it is time to apply the anti-moss treatments. These products will help protect your roof from the harmful effects of algae and moss. If you have a green roof, you can also use an anti-moss treatment to prevent future growth of moss. The anti-moss treatment will prevent future growth of fungus. These products are usually applied after scraping up the icky stuff with a stiff brush.
When cleaning roof tiles, you should be very careful. If you are prone to falling, you should use non-slip shoes and keep your partner close to you. It is not recommended that you go up on your roof because the tiles are fragile. Fortunately, there are some simple steps you can take to prevent slipping on your roof. You should wear non-slip shoes and a safety guard rail to protect yourself from any potential accidents.
To prevent large amounts of dirt from accumulating on the roof, you should clean it regularly. You should also be careful to avoid putting chemicals in the water. Besides removing dirt, algae, and moss, cleaning roof tiles can also improve the appearance of your home. When you do regular cleaning, you will be able to maintain the look of your house and keep the roof in a perfect condition. You should follow the steps carefully to avoid causing any damage to your property.
While cleaning roof tiles is easy and straightforward, it is important to be aware of the risks involved. Not only will they ruin the appearance of your home, but they will also cause drainage problems and leaks inside your house. If you are not sure how to properly clean your roof tiles, you should seek professional help to ensure that you don't damage the structure of your home. It is also advisable to consult a professional if you notice any cracks or chips in your tiles.
It is a good idea to clean roof tiles on a regular basis. Depending on their material, they may need to be washed more than once a year. However, it is important to remember that cleaning your roof tiles is a serious undertaking and can be dangerous if you don't follow safety precautions. For example, if you do not wear non-slip shoes, you can fall, which can result in injuries.
Luckily, there are many DIY cleaners for your roof tiles that will give your roof a squeaky clean without damaging it. You can even make your own cleaners with liquid soap and vinegar. Using these products will give your roof tile a shinier, more beautiful finish. So, don't put off cleaning your roof tiles until it's too late. A little care will go a long way. And it won't hurt to invest in a professional for the job.

Every few years a tennis court will need to be resurfaced. Maintenance will definitely help prolong the life, some dawn soap and scrub brush will be all you need in most cases. This court has roughly 4 years of wear and tear with huge palm trees that leave black patches. In wooded areas you may need to use a pressure washer, 1300psi is the max. Anything more than that you will fade or remove the coated surface. #estatemanager #estatemanagement #hardwork #realestate https://www.instagram.com/p/CClhoWwjY9n/?igshid=gk5j30gx1f2q

Time for chapter 2
Well then. Now that Player 1 has gotten a game over, it’s time for player 2 to take the spotlight.
A memorial to Kaede?
...With 15 blank spots for the other Ultimates...
Wait, shouldn’t Rantaro be in one of those spots?
Wait who the hell is talking...
That group? Is there a group behind Monokuma?
“They should have lived...They had to. For this world...”
Is it true, then? Has the world ended, and the Ultimates were the only hope of restoring it...?
Chapter 2: A Thin Line Divides Heaven And Hell
And we begin the actual chapter with Gonta searching for bugs, and not finding any. No bugs...which is weird. There’s all the right conditions for bugs. Why are there no bugs?
What Gonta does find is a strange thing written on a piece of pavement...”horse a”
Someone’s ringing the doorbell to Shuichi’s room, but he isn’t answering. Also, as I thought, the hidden Monokumas are displayed in his room.
Kaito?
First let’s check out the shelf...we missed Monokumas 1 and 5 last chapter.
Ah, we slept in and Kaito didn’t want to eat breakfast without everyone.
Huh? There’s something Shuichi doesn’t need anymore...his hat, perhaps?
Checking his profile, he has no friendship fragments...
Inside the dining hall, people are discussing the weird writing Gonta found.
Yup, no hat. And he’s got the protagonist ahoge.
Tsumugi says that if she takes off her glasses, her true form will be revealed and anyone who sees it will pay a terrible price. Is this another reference to something?
As a maid, Kirumi is experienced in making delicious food.
Keebo can’t eat. Robot and all. Too bad.
Shuichi also can’t bring himself to eat...everything seems so normal, but it’s just a way to distract themselves from Rantaro and Kaede’s deaths...but then Kaito tries stealing his food and Shuichi grabs it back and eats it.
Talk turns back to the graffiti. “horse a”. I’ve heard of the game horse, but there’s no letter A involved.
Huh? Gonta saw a tiny bug and it lead him to the graffiti. But then he didn’t see the bug anymore, no matter how much he searched.
Kokichi starts being a little shit again...and then things turn serious when he suggests that gullible people will be killed first.
Yeah, the killing game is still in effect...
Monokuma played us like a damn fiddle! Well, Kaede, at least.
I get the sense Kokichi is thinking about becoming the next blackened...
speak of the devil! Monokuma arrives, talking about how bullying is bad and that it’s the fault of the bully’s parents for bringing them up wrong. And he bears a gift for surviving the class trial...lemme guess, the Second Memory?
The Monokubs arrive as well. Monophanie, Monotaro, Monosuke...they seem to be frightened shitless of Monodam, each one worrying they could be next.
Himiko can sense that they’re being bullied, because she was bullied in the past.
If the Monokubs are bullying each other, then by Monokuma’s logic, he is a shitty parent. Get rekt.
The gifts for surviving the trial are...a tag of some sort, an ocarina, a crank handle, and a ball?
Ah, a Dragon Gem, an ocarina, an Ancient Passport, and a Hexagonal Crank from some zombie game. ????
They can be used without knowing how to use them...?
The Monokubs accidentally reveal that their weak point is the nape of their necks.
Oh shit. I forgot about the weird indentations and stuff all over the Academy. Now we can open the castle door, right?
Let’s check out the dragon statue first.
Kirumi will fulfill any request given to her...and that includes Kaede’s. Kaede’s wish lives on.
We gotta put the gem in the dragon’s eye, I think.
Doing that breaks the statue, and the wall it was leaning against, revealing a new area.
Kirumi thinks that no one’s been past the wall in a long time.
There’s an Ultimate research lab. It’s Kirumi’s, looks like.
Shuichi bought up that Jack the Ripper was from the Victorian era. Oddly enough, the phrase “Jack the Ripper” was in yellow, which indicates importance.
I mean, the last two games had a serial killer involved in chapter 2, and one of those games had the serial killer be named after Jack the Ripper. Could be a red herring though.
Kiyo has a tale related to the Victorian era to tell us! A gentleman pledged in service to the queen and a lowly maid fell in love. I’m not sure if this is at all important.
There’s a closet door, concealing laundry machines, vacuums, and pressure washers.
Back in the hall! At the end of the hall is another room, a set of stairs leading up, and a treasure chest.
Inside the chest is a weird flashlight. Could it be the Flashback Light from the prologue?
Angie runs off with it to inspect it, and we turn our attention to the room, which looks like it could be Gonta’s research lab.
Bug specimens everywhere! Are there any live bugs, though?
There are bug eggs and larvae, but there were being refrigerated to preserve them. Gonta thinks he can revive them and hatch the eggs. Shuichi is reminded of the story of Noah’s ark. Humanity was destroyed by a great flood, and humanity and animals began anew. Hmmm. HMMMM.
The insect samples were created by someone using love and care. I wonder...could Gonta have made them, and due to amnesia plot stuff doesn’t remember doing so?
Not much else we can do in here. Up the stairs!
Ryoma’s research lab, looks like.
There’s a weird machine serving tennis balls back and forth...Miu wants to midfy it. Into a sex machine, most likely.
Ryoma doesn’t care for the lab, or tennis. That was in his past. That man is dead.
He thinks if he gets out of here he’ll just go straight to jail anyways.
Despite his harsh words about tennis and his past self, he appears to be looking at the court with longing...
There’s a shower room in the back of the tennis court. We can’t go in right now.
There’s another research lab on this floor. I can’t tell whose...
Ah, it’s Maki’s. But she won’t let us go inside. Kokichi shows up to investigate as well, and Maki threatens Shuichi, should he try to go inside. Hmm. What could be in there...?
Next area-unlocking item! Let’s try the othello-themed door. There doesn’t appear to be anything nearby to help unlock it, though...Tsumugi and Himiko are also here, being suspicious of it.
Wait, there’s grooves on the wall, three of them. And two of them have passports inside. Well, OK. Putting the Ancient Passport into the middle groove collapses the wall. Behind it is exactly one room. An Ultimate Research lab. It’s door is covered in strange sigils. Good thing Himiko is right there, cause I suspect this lab is hers.
Himiko is none too happy about a lab with magic trick items and no authentically magic items.
A sword-stabbing box? If those are real swords, they could be used by a potential blackened...
Himiko’s familiar is a tiger cub. That’s a bit harder to take out of a hat than a dove...
A body-sawing box. Hmmm. The things in here could definitely be of use to someone determined to become the blackened...
A guillotine...see above.
A saw...Tsumugi is fearful of the same thing I am...
A water tank. For a Houdini-type trick, I imagine.
Tsumugi wonders why some of the labs were hidden and others were open from the start...the conversation gets derailed by the awkwardness of bringing up Kaede, but the question still stands. Semi-related, I wonder what Rantaro’s lab will reveal about his talent?
Shuichi can’t help but wonder what is up with this Academy...
A cauldron. A pot collecting mana, according to Himiko.
Now for the castle gate and the plant-covered door, both of which are outside.
There’s less plants outside, and the Exisals are still renovating the area.
The ninja cat statue in the courtyard didn’t have anything that we could use a crank or ocarina on, so...castle door next?
Let’s crank this up...
I’m still not sure what the writing on the door means...
“Courtyard - Nightspot” what
Why is it night in this area when it’s day outside?
There’s a “hotel Kumasutra” and a casino...
The casino has a rockin’ remix of the Danganronpa main theme playing inside.
OH. According to Monodam, this casino can be used to get prizes...which must be why the Monomono Machine only had about half the gifts in the game.
Oh my god the music is called “DANGANVEGAS”
You can buy presents and skills with the casino coins.
Kaito is downstairs winning big. But he pushes his luck and loses it all while Monokuma mocks him.
I gotta go, so we’ll check out the hotel and whatever the ocarina does next time!

How to Maintain Your Tennis Court in winter
Winter is coming means you have to deal with snow, ice and below freezing temperatures. So, it becomes hard to play tennis in these conditions. Even if you are not playing during the cold days, it is important to maintain the court over the winter to ensure that it is in good condition for the summer.
Whether you have a hard court or a synthetic surface, winter weather is equally harsh for every tennis court. Like any other things, tennis courts also last longer when they are properly maintained over the years.
In order to maximize the life of any type of tennis court, the owner should develop as well as implement a regular schedule of maintenance. Generally, regular inspection of the court and repairing small irregularities are more cost-effective.
Useful tips on maintenance of your court
Here are a few useful winter tips for maintaining your tennis court and make sure that it remains in good condition.
Regular cleaning
Winter brings wind, rain and poor weather which results in debris and dirt blown all over the court. Debris like leaves, pine needles, mold and moss are very bad for the surface if they are not cleaned soon.
The presence of debris will allow the growth of bacteria which will damage the court. So, you must do regular cleaning and brush away any foreign matter as soon as they appear on the tennis court.
Clear standing water
In the winter season, it is normal to get heavy rain and puddles get accumulated on the court surface. It is required to pay attention to these puddles and get them cleared as soon as there is a clear sky.
If you don’t clear the standing water, then they get filled with dirt which then leaves stains and piles of debris on the court. Also, when there is a decrease in the temperature, the puddles can freeze and cause holes on the court surface.
Use right equipment
While cleaning the tennis court, you must use the right equipment to avoid doing further damage to the surface. You should prefer to use soft nylon or hair-type brooms for scrubbing the surface. Because scrubbing too hard with a hard brush can damage the surface.
Using a water broom or pressure washer is a better option for cleaning a tennis court as it requires less labor, operate on less fuel and also use less water. These washers save time and also do not leave stripes like hand brooms.
Proper drainage
A proper drainage system is a very important part of the tennis court design and installation. This ensures that the surface remains in a suitable condition for play even after the winter season. An efficient drainage system diverts the rain water away from the court.
Otherwise, the excess water will flow back onto the surface or settle beneath the surface which can lead to an expensive repair. So, always look for any significant damage to structures and drain pipes. Also, clean away the vegetation that may be blocking the drain.
Landscaping
Having a decent landscape around your tennis court has many benefits, especially during the winter season. Planting ground vegetation minimizes the amount of dirt and dust that blows onto the court.
But you should keep the grass and any other vegetation trimmed and away from the tennis court surface. Also, do not over-water vegetation around the court as this may lead to accumulation of excessive moisture beneath the surface.
Timely repair
Generally, the tennis court surface has an asphalt or concrete base and over time they show signs of cracking and low spots called ‘birdbaths’. There are many factors that lead to these issues like-
l Ground movement and sinking
l Tree roots
l Improper construction or base mixes
Mostly, such problems appear after the winter season a needs to be properly handled. While many of the cleaning and protection measures can be easily handled by the court owner, the court surface repairs and resurfacing must be done by a sports surfacing company.
In order to reduce the damage to your tennis court, at the end of the tennis season and before winter, it’s advised to get the cracks and holes repaired. This prevents the minor issues to expand and increase the damage because of snow and ice.

Take a look at the video below to see our team cleaning and painting a multi-use sports court in Preston with a new anti-slip paint coating.
Video Transcript
Hi guys it’s Dan here, and today we’re going to be showing you an Anti Slip Sports Court Painting in Preston, Lancashire.
So we were contacted by the owner of this sports court, who explained that their court was starting to show signs of wear, and they were looking to help their surface come back to life.
We took a good look at the flooring and came to the conclusion that a resurface was not needed as damage was not extensive enough, so instead we carried out small repairs, followed by full clean and paint for their area.
So the first thing we did was to professionally clean the existing area, ensuring any build-up of moss and algae contamination was completely removed. This process involves us using our specialist jet-washer thoroughly until all contamination is removed.
Once the surface is fully cleaned, we’re then able to repair the small areas necessary. This process is extremely important in ensuring your surface is flat and safe to use prior to the repainting. You can see us carrying this out on these photos here.
Once the cleaning and repairs are fully complete, we can then get to work on applying the anti-slip paint. This paint not only transforms the appearance of the area, but also improves the playability of the surface due to it’s fantastic anti-slip credentials. Our anti-slip painting is available in various colours, and you can see the client opted for a light and dark blue finish.
At Soft Surfaces, we can carry out all of our services nationwide, for jobs of all shapes and sizes. Despite this, we’ve done lots of work in the Preston area, and as a result we rank in Google for these key-phrases:

Useful Tips for Safe Pressure Cleaning Melbourne
Pressure cleaning Melbourne is the best way to relieve hard surfaces of stubborn dirt and other impurities, and keep them clean. This heavy-duty method employs a pressure washer to eliminate offenders. Surfaces are rejuvenated by spraying them with solutions at high pressures from this apparatus. This method of washing is applicable for a wide variety of residential, industrial, and commercial purposes. Some examples include home washing, car cleaning, wood cleaning, gutter cleaning, cleaning parks, tennis courts and commercial attractions, and more.
High pressure cleaning is ideal for every purpose, from lighter domestic pressure washing to heavy industrial concrete cleaning. A major aspect to be considered while choosing a pressure washer is the capacity of pressure it can generate. This characteristic is determined by its PSI or Pounds per Square Inch value. For light cleaning tasks, PSI of up to 2,200 is sufficient. Hard cleaning requires 2, 200-3000 PSI. Heavy-duty industrial and commercial concrete cleaning demands PSI of up to 3500 or greater.
Safety of person and property is important while implementing high pressure cleaning. Here are a few tips to ensure safe high pressure cleaning in domestic or commercial environments. Employ pressure washers appropriate for the surface you are cleaning. Using washers when concrete cleaning with lower pressures does not clean the surface. On the other hand, more pressure than necessary damages the skin of the surface impairing its structural quality. The cleaning solution is as important as the equipment itself. Use cleaners in accordance to the surface to derive best results. Usage of the right nozzle that doesn't use excess power for spraying is recommended. Excess power spray can damage surfaces, especially those of wood. Ready the pressure washer with all its hoses in place and with water running through it. Remove furniture and other properties before commencing cleaning, to avoid damage. Stand firm and hold spray gun tight while cleaning to avoid jerks in reaction to the power spray. Do not alter the spray tip or the pattern of spray while spraying.
Success Cleaners is a Melbourne based cleaning service company. As a provider of cleaning services, their business has been built a reputation because of their quality. Their services include concrete cleaning House Cleaning Melbourne, Carpet Cleaning Melbourne, Vacate Cleaning Melbourne and other forms of pressure washing. 15 ways to enhance your community's curb appeal this spring
Prospective buyers love walking into a beautifully renovated home-but it's tough to get people in the door to see stunning interior improvements if they're turned off by what they see outside. That's why community associations should never underestimate the importance of curb appeal.
Spring is a great time to help the associations you manage to take control of their curbside appearance. Small tweaks and light investments can really move the needle in terms of increasing property values and attracting quality homeowners to the neighborhood.
Here are 15 ways to improve your community association's curb appeal this spring.
-
How to Improve Your Community Association's Curb Appeal
Step #1: Take a Step Back
Walk across the street and take a good look at the community. What will others see when they first pull up? Be hypercritical. Someone new to the property may notice flaws that you've grown accustomed to over time.
-
How to Improve Your Community Association's Curb Appeal
Step#2: Develop an Enforceable Architectural Policy
Most associations have basic design and architectural standards in place. Can yours be tightened up without undue disruption or costs? For instance, changing parking regulations could remove unsightly vehicles. Similarly, new rules around flags or signage could make front yards look less cluttered. Amend the architectural policy as needed to improve your community association's curb appeal.
-
How to Improve Your Community Association's Curb Appeal
Step #3: Engage Homeowners in the Conversation
Association boards often make the mistake of assuming all control for community rules, regulations, and budgetary decisions without engaging other homeowners in the conversation. To improve your community association's curb appeal effectively, you should aim to get residents' buy-in. One approach is to form a committee of association members that makes landscaping recommendations. Who knows-you could have a resident who's a landscape architect with loads of untapped potential!
-
How to Improve Your Community Association's Curb Appeal
Step #4: Plan Ahead
Some beautification projects have a long lead time. For instance, if you want to reconstruct a stone wall that wraps around the entrance of the community, this could cost several thousand dollars.
Projects that seem cost-prohibitive now are easier to manage when the association sets aside funds over a longer period of time. Maybe it's a project that the board decides to undertake three years from now, setting aside funds incrementally in the meantime.
Even smaller improvements (like seasonal flowers) cost money, so be sure that the association budgets accordingly each year. The budget should include any additional landscaping, maintenance, water, and other necessities.

Step #5: Pressure-Wash the Property
From one season to the next, properties can take a beating. This spring, pressure-wash each building. Clean off exterior walls, concrete areas, trim, and signage. Encourage homeowners to do the same with their own properties. You can either rent a pressure washer or, depending on the size of the community and the frequency with which you might need to pressure-wash, consider investing in a pressure washer to keep on-site (which you could make available to residents for a modest fee).

Step #6: Resurface Parking Lots
Re-tarring and repainting can go a long way in making a community look new again. If you can't resurface parking lots and streets, at least re-stripe them when the lines begin to fade.

Step #7: Upgrade & Repair Irrigation Systems
This is one of the bigger-ticket items that a community association may want to consider investing in this spring. Irrigation lines start to corrode over time, something that happens more frequently in areas where pipes freeze and thaw with the seasons.
Cracks, breaks, and clogged lines can lead to costly repairs for an association if not addressed in advance. In addition, plants won't be properly watered with leaky irrigation systems, so any major investments the association makes in landscaping could be at risk if water can't properly reach it.
This spring, have a landscaping company evaluate the community's irrigation system. How well is it performing? Is it time to make repairs or upgrades? If so, the board should consider putting money towards that now before it becomes a bigger problem down the line.

Step #8: Reconsider Grassy Areas
Yes, we all love lawns. After all, what looks better than well-groomed grass during the spring and summer? But consider whether the association really has the time and resources to maintain it. This is particularly true in hot weather climates, where droughts are common and water prices can escalate quickly.
If this sounds like any associations you manage, maybe it's time for a change. Alternative uses for large grassy areas include additional parking, tennis or basketball courts, storage units, an outdoor pavilion, or an indoor recreation room.
In addition, where there are noticeable footpaths in the grass, consider installing walkways.

Step #9: Weed & Mulch
One of the easiest ways to improve your community association's curb appeal this spring is to enlist a team of people to get to work with a few basic landscaping tools. Weed the property; pull out any overgrown greenery; and while you're at it, weed-whack unruly areas. Edge all hedges and spread fresh mulch around plants and in garden beds. It will make the property look beautiful upon arrival.

Step #10: Invest in Lighting
How does the community look at night? Warm, effective lighting is essential. You never know when a realtor is going to bring a prospective homebuyer to look at a property that's for sale!
Not only does good lighting make a community feel more inviting-it also helps to deter crime and keep the property safer for residents. Second, light sells. Consider using rope lighting to add definition or draw the eye to attractive features.
Is there an outdoor common area? Consider hanging string lights or Edison bulbs-the latest trend in lighting. If you have a flagpole, light up the flag. You might also want to add soft lighting along main entryways and walkways to prevent people from stumbling as they walk around the property.

Step #11: Repair Community Fencing
Is the fence around the community missing a few panels or swaying in the wind? One way to improve your community association's curb appeal is by repairing fencing. Once it's repaired, consider staining or white-washing wooden fencing-both of which can help the fence look better and last longer.
Many communities are turning to more durable vinyl fencing in common areas, which needs little to no maintenance. Vinyl fencing may be less charming, but it reduces issues like pest infestation and rotting that can compromise wood fencing over time.

Step #12: Trash the Trash
If someone comes to tour the community and finds litter all over the place, what sort of impression will that leave about how the association is managed? (Not a good one!) Be sure to eliminate all trash around the property. Pay special attention to trash on days before and after trash collection days, as trash can easily fall out of an overloaded dumpster before or during garbage collection.

Step #13: Hone in on a Coherent Color Scheme
A common pitfall for community associations is that one committee decides to implement a color scheme, another committee makes tweaks, and another doesn't realize that a color scheme was ever created. Instead, encourage the association board to pick a color scheme and stick to it. This will really improve your community association's curb appeal.
We typically recommend neutral colors with selective pops of color. For instance, you might paint a prominent door red or plant colorful flowers against an otherwise neutral background. Take advantage of color theory and trend research when deciding which color scheme is right for your community association.

Step #14: Check Address & Building Numbering
Pretend you've never been to the community before-or better yet, enlist the help of a colleague who's never been to the property. How easy is it to navigate the community? Are the building numbers clear and visible both during the day and at night? If not, improve numbering to improve your community association's curb appeal and navigability this spring.

Step #15: Boost CC&R Enforcement
Despite the association's best efforts, the community's curb appeal will continue to suffer if the board is too lax about enforcing the community's covenants, conditions, and restrictions (CC&Rs). The association should enforce all CC&Rs consistently. Otherwise, resident behavior could have the unintended consequence of dragging down property values for other owners and the association as a whole.

Tennis Court Painting at St. John’s College, Oxford
It’s easy to look at a dilapidated tennis court and think that the cost of restoration might be more trouble than it’s worth, but it may be more cost effective than you realise.

A perfect example of this would be our restoration and enhancement project at St. John’s college in Oxford. The college got in touch to say they had some tennis courts that were in need of some TLC and were interested in reviving them, as they were extremely popular with the students. Their existing area actually comprised of three tennis courts and, with the courts being used by thousands and thousands of students over the years, had obviously seen a lot of wear and tear. The original colours of green for the courts and red for the surrounding area had long since faded, and the white line markings were so faint it would have been hard to know if your shot was ‘in’ or not. The surface itself was cracked and pock-marked and, in truth, it had seen better days. This is where Sports and Safety Surfaces came in.
Deep Cleaning
The first step to this restoration was a deep cleaning of the entire area. Our team used a specialist, two-part deep cleaning technique. The first part is designed to remove any and all traces of dirt from the area using a combination of a solution designed specifically for use on tennis courts and a high-powered pressure washer. This included leaves, mud, algae, litter and other contaminants, but it was important to make sure that the court was as clean as it could possibly be before moving on to the second stage. This involved applying a specialist polyurethane binding solution that would not only prevent any further buildup of future contaminants, but would also strengthen the surface but would allow the paint to stick better too.
Once the court was clean and sealed, it was at this stage where any repairs that needed to be done took place. The client opted to stay with a tarmac surface but a new surfacing such as polymeric rubber would have been just as appropriate. The various holes and cracks were filled and smoothed over before the application of the paint.
Anti Slip Colour Coating
The paint itself is made up of a very clever combination of properties. Firstly, and most importantly, it meets the anti-slip TRRl 5 standards required by the LTA governing body as well as meeting SAPCA standards for safety quality. The paint itself consists of a mixture of sand, aluminium oxide and porous acrylic paint. This is important for a few reasons.
Firstly, from a safety point of view, the sand gives the surface more grip. This means that in bad weather conditions or when players run or over-stretch to reach a shot, they have the best possible grip and the risk of them slipping and falling is greatly reduced. This also has the added benefit of making the surface extremely hard-wearing, so the court should have an extended lifetime if it is properly maintained. The second part is the really clever bit.
ENQUIRE TODAY FOR BEST RATES
The acrylic paint aspect of the combination is porous, so this means that rain and standing water will actually drain away from the court. This means no more waterlogged court or standing water, and it helps to keep down maintenance and repair bills down to a minimum. The paint is compliant with the tough SUDS requirements, so the client was happy that they were getting a top quality product.
For the actual colour of the paint, the client chose to stick with the original colour scheme; green for the courts, traditional white line markings and a bright red outer court. This request was easily satisfied, although they could have had a variety of other colours and combinations had they so wished to.
Restored Tennis Court
The finished result was a revelation, colourful, pleasing to the eye, inviting, and a lot safer than it had been just a short time ago. The new courts were barely recognisable as the dirty, unsafe courts they had been. St. John’s College were over the moon with the results, and the students now have a bright, safe space to play tennis in.
This kind of restoration doesn’t take as long as you think. Obviously, the larger the area, the more time that will be needed to restore it to its former glory. In essence though, this type of project could be completed in under a week, so your tennis court could be revamped and back being used in under seven days.
What are the Advantages of Restoring a Sports Court?
The advantages to restoring an existing court are many. It turns an otherwise unattractive and potentially dangerous (especially if the court is contaminated with algae) area into a safe and and inviting area that encourages people to use it and stay fit. As mentioned above, St. John’s College chose to stay with a tarmac court, but other surfaces such as macadam or polymeric rubber are ideal for use on a tennis court. These specialist surfaces are hard wearing, have increased slip-resistant properties and are easy to maintain. As with tarmac, macadam and polymeric rubber surfacing is available in a number of different vibrant colours and combination.
