Last month, I tested the paint brushes on Krita and wrote down the names and the sizes. Since I want to draw an object head character for my Tumblr icon, I used my current icon as a reference.
On Monday, I tested the pencil brushes and drew sketches of my avatar/OC. I also wrote down some texture brushes I found beautiful (I might use them for backgrounds).
I drew the tulip with a drawing tablet, but I used my mouse for the OC sketches.
If you use Krita, do you have any tips for beginners? What brushes do you recommend?

Jax animation test on Krita! I haven't used Krita in a while and I'm not gonna lie I feel like abandoning Adobe Animate for hand drawn animation; drawing just doesn't feel good on Aa... it feels klunky and it's a bit difficult for me to get into the groove of actually drawing :/ though I feel that I'd still be able to use it for compositing and puppet animation (and even then the puppet animation is still also a lil klunky but its fine-)

Disembodied heart, disembodied head
I like to think of the lifeblood creature as some sort of lifeblood root-like being like white lady or potentially isma, but honestly there's a real chance it is entirely allocated to the dream realm and, kinda like the nightmare heart, is literally just what we see, a giant head (still made of vines though)

(It was, in fact, lifejam.)
(...idk it's just that it looks like it)

100% believe that the red around revali's eyes is makeup to better disguise the fact that he hasn't outgrown his cheek markings yet
