Summary: Before he met Rewind, Chromedome was conjunxed three previous times: to Scattergun, to Pivot, and to Mach.
Prowl was intimately familiar with each of those relationships.

If I had a nickel for every time Chromedome was forced to kill someone he cared about, I would have two nickels, which isn't a lot but if the EU writers aren't cowards we can make that three.
Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye, Volume 1 Issue #1
I am obsessed with Whirl and shocked that I haven't seen anyone talk about how exactly he ended up on the List Light here or on AO3, so I hope everyone is okay with me sharing here. I adore this Weapon of Mass Destruction.
Comic panels below cut:
(Love Ratchet for checking in on our unhinged bastard mech right after he fell out of the sky on top of another mech.)
(Ratchet is my main mech, you can't change my mind, and I want Ratchet/Whirl fanfiction now.)
Bonus:
(Sorry that images are blurry, I hope you can still read them).
My own take on the concept of headmasters, born from me remembering that originally they were organic aliens upgraded with technology needed for them to become headmasters, with later interations choosing to make them straight up tiny robots with said technology already preinstalled. And then thinking, but what if you combined those two ideas, and make them fully organic and fully capable of being headmasters. So here is my own take on said idea. Basically my headmasters are a race of bug-like aliens with energy cores inside them, that they use to power up and control machines of various shapes and sizes. Including the big humanoid ones that while piloting they curl up and serve as their head.
With my first design for this concept being Stylor, Chromedome's headmaster. Who's loosly based on a roly-poly, but more so on my wanting to translate the original design to fit into my idea for the whole thing. Plus integrating his personality into the design, to make him more interesing and unique.
💔Of course the edit is mine, the characters and comic don't belong to me. Transformers and all of it's characters belong to Hasbro. The audio and art isn't mine.💔
