This is what I see everytime Tfa Megatron and Optimus fight at each each other

easily one of my favorite things about tfa optimus v megatron is the fact that these two had no history whatsoever and yet decided they hated each other the moment they locked eyes.

like you've got tfp and tfone where they were once close, but suffered a rift which split them apart. you've got g1 and armada, where they're enemies by virtue of being opposing factions.

but then there's tfa, where they had a "loathe at first sight" thing going on. it'd be like if stalin had beef with john doe from ohio army rotc. i love it.

The fact that Optimus killed Megatron within 5 minutes of meeting him should become public knowledge. More importantly, I think that for everyone not completely blinded by loyalty to Megatron, it should make him the single most attractive Autobot in history to every Decepticon because they value cunning, strength, competence, and skill in battle. And that act alone is a beautiful demonstration of all of them.
