I apologize for my absence. A lot of things hit me since late February but, I have some fun (and angsty) commissions from the kind @pepperedappels and @rianisbeststoneboi

They both have a cool TDC x Star Wars AU that was fun drawing out. Thank you so much to the both of you for commissioning me! I greatly appreciate it and thank you for allowing me to share the images!

She is the daughter of Deet and Rian from my fic Wellspring, all grown up.

Wellspring has been on hiatus since August as I did some fandom events + fic Sword of the Dark Crystal, but it will return soon!

Behold my most complex commission that I am so happy with! If the quality looks a bit fuzzy it’s because any commission I post get a lower resolution.

This lovely commission belongs to the wonderful @rianisbeststoneboi of their Oc Kieran! She was a fun character to draw- especially trying to get the metallic areas done nicely. I love rendering braids so I was getting lost in that lol.

Drawing and rendering the background was a much needed challenge and I’m so happy with the grass, trees and bushes- rendering them was very therapeutic.

Here are two of my favorite sketch commissions for the wonderful the_crochet_corgi on Etsy and Instagram, go check out her work it’s amazing! Will I have some Gelfling crochet dolls to show off one day? Yes, yes I will! I’m gonna include a link to her Etsy shop here as well.

As you can see I had a lot of fun drawing these! Princess Seladon side by side with All-Maudra Seladon was my favorite because I really do enjoy how complex Seladon was, and how her wardrobe changed as she changed throughout the story.

And of course, how can I not have a good time drawing a blushing Jen and cheeky Kira lol

Jen being inexperienced in romance, and he and Kira doing the smallest things like holding hands or getting pecks in the cheek would get a big reaction is something I like playing around with (one of my Ocs is the same way but he has no excuse lol)

With permission I was able to share these with you all and I hope you like these drawings!

Another big thank you to the wonderful @nurloxx for commissioning me to draw her Ocs Eri and Venrys reenacting a Harlivy kiss with a SnowBlooms spin.

I had so much fun drawing these two! Their story of meeting and getting into a relationship is so cute and perfect for them. They’re two chaos queens. Girlfriends who slay together, stay together (lol I’ll stop)

Again, I love their designs, especially Venrys who has beefier arms than I normally draw on most of my cis-female characters. I love Eri, she’s so fun and oh boy is there a lot I want to draw lol

Like, she’s basically family to the Stonesan family and we all know I am adding another drawing to my list of drawings lol

My latest commission for the wonderful @stonewoodsifa and a big thank you as well!

I loved working on this piece so much! I’m really happy with the poses especially because cross-legged poses were always tricky for me. And since I never draw Onica, it was great being able to make a nice drawing of her. Of course I had a lot of fun drawing Zela, she has such a pretty design and a great story too.

It was a pleasure to bring this piece to life and thank you so much for commissioning me and allowing me to share it!

Definitely go check out her Tumblr for their backstories because it’s so good! Especially the way the two of them began courting is so cute! I also really like Zela and I’m so happy she has such a loving boyfriend. Will I sketch out a scene where Fleur helps get them acquainted with each other? Yes. Yes I will lol

My first commission from the wonderful @gelflinglove of Kira and Jen sharing a warm kiss. Drawing these two was so much fun and who can go wrong with such a cute couple like Jen x Kira lol. I would love to see an official comic of these two just being lovey-dovey with each other!

I hope this piece sparks some well needed sugar overload during this quarantine lol

This was my first time actually drawing Gurjin (the first was a sketchy what if comic) and I really had fun drawing him! Once I had gotten the hang of his hair it became so much fun to draw! I do want to draw more Gurjin pieces in the future especially with a new fan art series in the works.

Thank you to everyone for your patience with my inactivity, I’m very busy with commissions and I want all of them to look their best! I have a big commission piece in the works and I cannot wait to share it once it’s finished!

Here is one of my latest completed commissions from one of my IG followers, Roxfoxgirl of her and her friend’s oc characters. This commission was another wonderful challenge and I enjoyed coloring the candlelit scene. These characters are so cute and they make such a cute couple. The Sifa gelfling belongs to another one of my followers who I follow back, their page is called teatimeart_official, they have a really cool style.

I do have a commission pricing sheet but I haven’t posted it because it’s all text and I feel like now I have enough examples to make an official sheet with the pricing and images. I would love to draw your character whenever you have a finalized design! At the moment I’ll add you to my waitlist if that’s ok.

Introducing my very first DTIYS challenge! I originally wanted to do this several months ago but I couldn’t because of my schedule. I feel like this timing works out a lot better.

The second image already says the rules but I’m gonna type it out in case my handwriting looks kinda sloppy/hard to read for certain words. I might add some extra stuff because new ideas pop up as I rewrite lol

Rules:

Draw this in your style! Maybe you want to simplify Fleur’s outfit/accessories? Maybe you want to make it more complex? Maybe you want to change the time of day? Go for it!

Repost the original (my drawing) after your version. Tag me @thanatasia and use the hashtag #thanatasiadtiys AND/OR #Thanatasia DTIYS (above the hashtag is written together because I forgot that Tumblr allows spaces between words. Again you can choose one or the other, or both) so I could easily see it. I will reblog all the entries onto my page.

DTIYS entries will be accepted until July 15th.

Winners will be announced the next day!

Winners:

There will be three (3) winners; first place and the two runners up

1st place winner will receive a full body full color commission of one (1) character of their choice. This character can be an Oc or a Canon character.

The two runners up will receive a mid-body flat colored sketch commission of one (1) character of their choice. This character can be an Oc or they can be a Canon character (above I wrote 2nd and 3rd place winners, two 2nd place winners would be more accurate since the prize is the same)
