The Beginning of an Expensive Love: Reflecting on My First Concert Experience with Ariana Grande

Remember middle school? The cringe-worthy crushes on boys covered with AXE Body Spray, the burning desire to fit in, and obviously the obsession with all things pop music? For me, that time was soundtracked by Ariana Grande! Hearing her new album, “Eternal Sunshine”, sparked a trip down memory lane to my first concert: seeing her live in Miami at 14!

As I was about to finish the 8th grade, my Aunt surprised me with tickets aka the best graduation gift ever (8th grade was a big deal, okay?). 14-year-old me dreamt of belting "Be Alright" with thousands of fans.

The concert was electric! Everyone sang along, and Ariana's vocals were insane. Five years later, that night still holds a special place in my heart. It ignited my love for live music, a love that continues to this day.

Shoutout to my Aunt for the best gift (and unintentionally starting my concert addiction). To anyone going to their first concert: embrace it! Sing loud, soak it up, and make magical memories. Future-you will thank you!

but ugh you're so right he's so so cozy and his hair is so fluffy and soft but he's got that chain peeking out...it's giving cozy slutty for cold days. i really really really want to know what the rest of the chain is like. like does it have a cute lil charm on it? is it just a chain? does it have a dangly bit like the ones he wore for his LA shows? bc the idea of him wearing a dangling chain under that blue hoodie that makes his eyes look not-of-this-earth is actually kind of unbearable. just swinging around down there under all those cozy layers. 😃

when these popped up yesterday i said to meg how his cheeks are begging to be kissed with how the light from the sun is hitting him and idk maybe while you're there you could slip a hand into those curls on the back of his neck, just an idea!
