tumblr just isn't fun for me anymore. when i joined atinyblr almost 2.5 years ago it was...different. the sense of community i felt here was different. now almost everyone i used to know or talk to has left, and tbh it's been making me sad. most of the time i don't get joy from being here and interacting with people anymore, and while i still enjoy giffing it's not the same as before. i'm also not in the best place mentally so even thinking about the effort it would take to get to know and feel comfortable around 'new' people is overwhelming. i loved being on here, it was a part of my life for a good while, but i think it's time to accept that those days are over. i went from feeling like an imposter all the time to being welcome and confident in (most of) my gifmaking, and to me that really meant a lot. i made real friends here and i can't express how grateful i am for them.

idk yet if i'm going to be around or not. maybe seonghwa will do something again that will make me run to my laptop and start giffing without even thinking about it. so, for now, thank you for having me atinyblr <3 thank you everyone who's ever left nice (or funny, or kinda deranged) tags on my gifs or sent me asks or just made me feel welcome and made my experience here worthwhile

As much as I agree about the you being really nice and amazing part in this ask I don't agree with how the anon is talking about other authors. For one, many of them have lives and you can't put down people to raise up others. Two, they get too many interactions and thud are only able to interact via asks.

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, many of the authors I know on atinyblr keep BEGGING for interactions but no one BOTHERS? Liking or blank reblogging DOES NOT equal to interaction. TELL US WHAT YOU LIKED, TELL US WHAT YOU HATED, FFS INTERACT! I don't see people interacting with so many amazing authors and then the people who do are called people pleasers (the same goes for a lot of authors too... Like????) What's with the double standard????

characters! i build things around my characters, so they come first for me!

highschool aus ✋😭 tbh most werewolf fics as well but those are more on a case by case basis where i am okay with a few but not the majority, not shaming anyone who enjoys either of those tropes, i just personally don’t enjoy them!

U: Share three of your favorite fic writers and why you like them so much.

so two of them i don’t need to tag because they know how precious and valuable they are as people to me and i still feel so lucky and blessed to know them and be close with them but i’m still going to tag them bc i think they deserve all the love in the universe and that’s @nomseok and @parkshwa both have been part of my life for not long compared to my 21 years of life, but the impact both as writers and as people they’ve had on me in that short time is astounding to say the least.

the third is none other than my personal backbone of atiny writing and that’s @atiny-piratequeen. miss fie was the first atiny i ever read a fic from, and in a lot of ways she introduced me to the ateez fanfiction realm, and beyond simply being a talented and astounding writer, she’s also so knowledgeable and genuine. she doesn’t mess around, she doesn’t skimp on her works, she keeps it real in terms of sex and how sex works even though it’s fanfiction and i think the fanfic community as a whole is SORELY needing that sort of thing. she’s inclusive, she’s attentive to detail, she cares about her writing and she cares about the people reading her writing, and i’ll always look up to her as someone to be respected as a human being as well as a writer. i’ve learned so so much from her even if she doesn’t know it and i’m so thankful the atinyblr writing community has someone like her in it!

i know ateez is never going to see this, but i just want to say a few words to them and how much their music and just themselves have helped me this year. 

i mean if it wasn’t for them then i probably would have never gotten my writing spark back and would have eventually given up writing. 

earlier this year, it was actually on the day of ateez’s comeback in january, i had lost one of my cats that i had basically raised since her birth. so i was emotionally torn up about losing her after taking care of her for ten years. but thanks to ateez and kpop in general, i was able to overcome her passing just a little bit because music just helps me like it helps everyone. 

ateez also like i said gave me a reason to start writing again as i tried to distract myself and if wasn’t for them then i wouldn’t have met all the wonderful people i did this year.

ateez, you have accomplished so much this year and i am so proud of all eight of you. i hope 2021 is was as successful as this year was for you!

ATEEZ @ MAMA 2020 (Inception + Answer) ↳ aka my second Atinyversary 

Summary in case you don't want to read all this: it's been two years since I got into Ateez, I ramble about it, then I tagged my lovely mutuals. I can't believe it's already been two years since Youtube recommended me this video out of the blue and because I was bored and San and Honjoong looked sp pretty on the thumbnail I watched it. Instantly fell in love with Answer and decided that well, if they have one song this good, there have got to be more right? And so began my descent into the kpop (read: Ateez) madness. I didn't expect on December 6th 2020 that two years later I would run a tumblr blog dedicated to the one guy that I actively did not want to bias at first, spend who knows how much money on albums and other merch, go to one of their concerts and scream along with all those other fans despite me thinking I would never have a boy group phase in this life (lol), least of all one starting when I was 21 years old. Not that I regret anything about it :D I realise that these gifs are not actually the most giffable moment for some members, but as this is a very self indulgent set I chose to gif what are moments I still remember reacting to when I saw the first time. Honorary mention to Hongjoong shouting "1, 2, 3 lets BURN" into his mic. If I could gif a sound that would be the first I'd gif because Answer is special to me and I absolutely came to life when he did the same thing at my concert. I started giffing on this blog way later in 2021, around the end of Deja Vu promotions, and for the most part I did not feel very welcome here on Atinyblr lol, for reasons that have nothing to do with anyone I interact with these days. This only very recently changed when I finally joined the atzsource team and actually talked to the people on here. So thank you for being so cool and talking about some things that mean I can finally chill and not feel like an imposter on here anymore. thank u for sending in this ask, this is so sweet :( I think it's rly important to support all kinds of fans (minus obviously the stalkers/obsessive ones/insert objectively harmful fan here) and I opened these reqs (they're still open btw!) because I wanted to show my support to them. bc it's shitty that some people on here think that it's low to write smut or romance or whatever else. they're all valid forms of art as long as it's not hurting anyone/romanticizing bad stuff/illegal.

plus, as a writer myself, I know personally that it hurts when other fans hate your craft. it is the least I can do for atiny writers.

wow. hello everyone! i cant believe i really get to say this, but i just hit 3,500 followers. w o w. i've been making ateez gifs for exactly 3 months now and in those 3 short months i have gained over 500 followers, bringing me to an amount i am totally undeserving of. i honestly have no idea how this happened but i am so grateful for each and every one of you i didnt know what i should do to celebrate this amazing milestone. i considered opening requests for gifs or moodboards, maybe even start taking requests for the amazing writing skills i've developed recently. that might still happen (and would probably be for mutuals only i'm afraid) but for now i want to just give a shout out to my amazing mutuals who make being here worth it. its gonna get loooong so its under the cut thank you all so much for this, i love you all
