I can finally speak out on of the things that has been bothering me since the news broke out. At the time it was very scary and stressful as we were dealing with the wildfires in our state at the same time so I was already having a hard time. Woojin was my bias and I never believed he would do something like that. I know everyone says to believe the victim but innocent until proven guilty is still valid and victims lie, it happens often and we all know how fans and antis get sometimes, just like Wonho and Hanbin people will do anything to throw idols under the bus.

The scariest thing for me to see was how quick everyone was in defending Hanbin and Wonho and how quick the same people threw Woojin away, immediately spreading hate and sending death threat and calling him fake and all these names and just obnoxious behaiver. I understand we were all upset but you can’t just believe someone right away with no evidence and so many holes in their story. And sometimes it’s best to wait it out and then make a decision.

It wasn’t just Woojin that was caught up in the whirlwind, Jungwoo, Chanwoo, Hongjoong, Seonghwa and a few more that I can’t remember were also names thrown out from so many people. Their biggest thing was when they claimed he was a member from the big three, had a w and two o’s in his name. This is not a good statement because for one thing Woojin left Stray Kids and JYP so not only was he out of the big 3 but he’s not the only one with those letters in his name. Jungwoo and Chanwoo are also under the big three and have a w and two o’s in their names.

Back when it was so big on Twitter the Jungwoo tags were all stating that Woojin was innocent but the Stray Kids tags were saying he was guilty. Even the supposed person themselves posted one last tweet before delete the account stating it was all fake but no one took that screenshot so people were led to believe it was all fake

And then on the bullying, I’ve seen a lot of videos saying ‘this idol bullying this group’ or ‘this group bullying this member for 8 minutes’ and multiple videos being taken out of context and people claiming that since Woojin doesn’t speak a lot in some videos it’s proof he doesn’t get along and the member don’t like him. Y’all that’s not how things work. Just because you aren’t fully engaged in an activity or if you aren’t getting along doesn’t make you a bully or a bad person, Woojin was going through his own shit and idols lives are hard enough, if they feel out of it sometimes it’s not okay for us to immediately accuse them of such things like ‘they don’t like their members, they don’t get along, they are bullies.’

Idols live together and are around each other often so what you might see as “bullying” might just be them goofing off I mean ffs there is a video titled ‘ATEEZ bullying Seonghwa’ and y’all fine with that because they are only goofing around and teasing each other but you automatically assume from any footage or out of context video of Woojin playing with and teasing the members that he’s a bully. Why are you putting double standards on this? Bullying is a very serious accusation and rumors and spreading false information or any information with no evidence can ruin an idols careers. Tara and Co-Ed School unfortunately we’re big examples of this. The Tara bullying scandal ruined those girls and all the rumors and accusations caused Co-Ed School to disband before anyone could say everything was false. You have to be careful with what you say and what you hear and see cause if it’s not true and everyone believes it is you ruined a whole idols career before it can even be fixed.

Ok so, yes I know everyone says “the victim is always right” and it’s okay if you want to believe that but remember there are two sides to every story and both parties are valid until further evidence or actual evidence and you are able to prove whether or not something actually happened. I had some other things to say but I’ll let those slide and it doesn’t matter not because Woojin is innocent and it’s great news. I’m so relieved because he was my bias and I was so heartbroken when he left and when I heard about the trouble he was going through. I was so afraid to even say Woojin because everyone was censering it, acting like it was a bad name and that’s not fair on Woojin himself and it’s also not fair on the other idols named Woojin because there are at least 5 Woojins so for people to be doing that is like, you’re invalidating the other Woojin’s just because you think one Woojin is bad. Seeing people tag Woojin like w***** or w**jin and woojail and tw woojin is really upsetting and that’s not okay, that’s like bullying, calling him woojail is not okay at all. Pretending his name is a trigger when it’s not and if his name was a trigger than all the idols named Woojin would have that and censoring his name, again you’re invalidating all the other woojins. And everyone that says “ot8 or get the fuck out” or “if you still support Woojin fuck off” like..he’s literally fucking innocent. It was a bunch of Brazilian antis that started all the lies and rumors and after all the stories that don’t make sense and people still think he’s guilty and they are still sending him hate and being absolute assholes towards him. If you don’t want to believe that he’s innocent, if you don’t want to like him fine. Don’t talk about him don’t make a bunch of woojail posts, don’t send him hate or death threats because you’re 1. Making things worse and 2. Care enough about him to make his life miserable which is exactly what antis do and what those antis did. It pisses me off and upsets me how fast everyone just turned on him and they continue to bully him and send him unnecessary hate. Also it’s ok to tag Stray kids and Woojin because he was a member of Stray Kids so don’t give people shit for tagging Stray Kids.

So I’m gonna end this posts educating y’all about the multiple Woojins and it’s okay to say and spell Woojin you guys. It’s alright, you won’t get in trouble. So Woojin, my boy who I miss so so much Kim Woojin who was in Stray Kids, there’s my Thot Woojin from Target, an amazing rapper btw, I do believe there is a Woojin in AB6IX and of course there is the hot Woojin from My.st who just has this whole vibe to him that is dead sexy. Also the Woojin from Teenteen/Ghost9 and also also your gurl found a sexy man, despite me not being into body builders, I found a man on Insta named Kim Woojin and he is definitely a fucking snaCC. ALSO ALSO recently it’s been pointed out how did Woojin has been and someone described it as what Jonghyun looked like before he left us. Woojin is my boy and I’ve been worrying about him ever since he left Stray Kids and I swear on god Hui and my camera roll if he hurts himself in any way or we lose another wonderful person I will blame Bangchan. I will blame Felix, I will blame JYP and I will blame everyone that started the rumors, the lies, the people that sent Woojin mean messages, death threats, bullying him because you don’t need to like an idol no matter what they do but bullying them and sending unnecessary hate to them is not ok no matter what they did. Even if it’s bad just ignore it because you sending them mean comments doesn’t make you any better. I thought it’d be the same as f!Dimileth (the fandom version of it at least) where the man is like ~~ohhhh I’m a monster I’m so broken ahhh I push people away and go on berserker rages because of my tragic backstory~~ and the woman has to be gentle and kind, the epitome of femininity (despite being a mercenary who had been trained to kill since she was 11...), basically put himself above her on so many levels and the onus is on her to ~~fix him~~~...but apparently not??? 1. Fanfic with more “out-there” ideas :)) (Don’t get me wrong, there are fanfics that fall far from Glee’s high school/young adult/modern-coming-of-age setting, and even for fics that do fall under those spheres there are some that deal with complex, intricate themes in such an incredible manner or even if not that are just plain enjoyable but like,,, there aren’t enough for my ever-expanding hunger HAHA)(my last couple of fandoms were dark fantasy/sci-fi/whatever The Good Place is so I guess I just got spoiled lmao)

2. More analytical thinking LMAO I guess it just frustrates me that there are so many people in the fandom who take things at face value??? Given how biased the writers are and how shit they are at continuity it really doesn’t make sense to me that so many people take things so literally haha

LMAO I went through Bae Doona’s body of work (what was available of it at least) in 2015 and ended up shipping her character Park Hyun-nam with her best friend (Yoon Jang-mi) in 플란다스의 개 (Barking Dogs Never Bite)...I wrote a very small ficlet of them (I literally had to create the section for them in ao3...and lmao I just checked and I am still the only fic in there HAHA)(please don’t look for my account btw all my fics are so self-indulgent and atrocious huhu) and I also made this gifset of them :))) As far as I know I am literally the only one in the entire world who ships them HAHA

35. Onverwachts drukke dag

Hallo vanuit dat mega bekende plein waarvan ik nog steeds niet de naam ken. Die man met zijn accordeon is weer aan het spelen, maar er is ook een coverbandje aan het zingen. Queen en accordeonmuziek gaan niet samen. Het is 17:09 en wat een dag.

Ik werd wakker en ik wist dat ik om 16:00 les zou hebben (lmao). Ik had het gisteren gecheckt en ja de les ging door. Alsnog, de leraar is chill. Misschien iets te chill.

Ik was dus van plan om niet veel te doen, want ik had les. Maar de zon scheen weer eens zo mooi en het was zelfs tussen de 15 en 18 graden. Toen zag ik dat het morgen en overmorgen weer slecht weer zou worden, dus ik nam de beslissing om toch naar Metelkova te gaan, want dat ligt grotendeels buiten.

Alsnog, jullie zien nu een foto. Ik moet het later toevoegen.

En er is een kind keihard aan het janken.

Metelkova is een alternatieve kunstgelegenjeid vol met graffiti. Blijkbaar is het ook een doelwit voor Sloveense neo-nazi's wegens de progressieve ideeën. Lovely. Het was dus ooit een Joegoslavische militaire basis en de Sloveense overheid wilde het slopen, maar een menselijke ketting heeft het in 1992 gered van de ondergang. Sindsdien is er veel controversie over de status als kunstgelegenheid. Lees de Wikipedia pagina als je meer wilt weten.

Overdag is er alleen niet veel te doen. Je kan foto's maken en wiet roken met vrienden. Wel waren kunstenaars vandaag de muurschilderijen op de buitenmuren aan het vervangen en dat zag er mooi uit. Er is blijkbaar ook een bar en een kleine galerij en een hostel, maar die vond ik niet allemaal. Ook zijn er evenementen en workshops, maar niet op het moment dat ik er was.

Ik wilde eigenlijk alleen buiten kijken, maar ik was best snel uitgekeken. Dus toen besloot ik toch maar om naar het Modern Art Museum Metelkova te gaan. Ik had namelijk nog 2 uur, want ik wilde rond 15:00 weg. Alsnog, les om 16:00.

Uiteindelijk was ik om 14:30 weg. Dit museum is onderdeel van het andere moderne kunst museum. Je weet wel, dat museum waar ik een heel kunstverslag over heb geschreven.

Zoals verwacht vond ik het niet geweldig. Gelukkig kreeg ik nu wel uitleg, dus ik kon de twee rubberen handschoenen op de grond wel meer waarderen.

Oh my God de twee mannen achter me zijn uitgebreid aan het praten over Jezus. "Jesus has walked everywhere" aight mate.

OH MY GOD (badum tsss) THEYRE PRAYING RIGHT NOW. WELL MAY GOD BE WITH YOUR BLESSED SOULS.

Eén van de hoogtepunten was "Made in China". Dat was een modern kunst museum en het hing vol met kopieën van bekende kunstwerken en het was allemaal gemaakt in China. Ze hadden zelfs The Fountain.

Oh. Creep alert. Een vreemde man sprak net een tweetal jonge vrouwen aan, vroeg hun namen en wilde perse een foto met ze. Gelukkig waren ze zelf ook een beetje oplettend en toen hij zijn arm op één legde om een foto te maken, waren ze er niet gediend. Toen kwamen hun vriendjes uh oh en liepen ze met z'n vieren weg. Je ziet nog eens iets hier.

Helaas wordt mijn verhaal wel de hele tijd onderbro- oh nee de accordeon is terug.

Maar ja het was best grappig, want de Chinese kopieën waren een kritiekpunt op het feit dat westerse kunst meer aandacht krijgt. Zij kunnen het namelijk ook in massa's na produceren. It ain't special.

Er waren dus heel veel rare dingen, zoals een foto expositie van een naakte vrouw die borstvoeding gaf aan puppy's (... wha), maar een ander ding dat heel goed was, was een tafel met 26 objecten. Een vrouw ging ergens voor 6 uur zitten en ze legde die objecten voor zich neer. Voor 6 uur mochten mensen doen met haar lichaam wat ze wilden zonder enige verantwoordelijkheid en daar werden foto's van gemaakt. Het begon dus onschuldig, zoals mensen die poeder op haar gezicht deden. Toen werd het minder onschuldig. Mensen gingen haar uitkleden en betasten en sommige gevaarlijke objecten werden ook gebruikt. Sommigen zetten bijv. een geweer tegen haar hoofd aan. Op sommige foto's zat ze ook stil te huilen en na een moment ben ik gaan stoppen met kijken naar de foto's, omdat ik niet wilde zien of iemand de bijl of messen had gebruikt.

Het interessante is dus dat ze na precies 6 uur is opgestaan en ze liep naar de mensen die gebruik hebben gemaakt van de spullen en ze renden allemaal weg, want ineens waren hun verantwoordelijkheden teruggekeerd. Nu was de kunstenares geen object meer, maar een mens. Dit is nu alternatieve kunst die echt iets laat zien damnit.

Als laatste interessante was een tijdelijke expositie over film. De films zelf waren niet geweldig, maar het werd allemaal geproduceerd in een enigszins onafhankelijke gedeelte uit Syrië. Een paar kilometer verderop werden mensen door IS gemarteld terwijl zij films maakten. Ik ben de naam van het gedeelte kwijt, maar ik heb de informatie van het museum meegenomen.

Uiteindelijk ging ik naar huis want ik had honger en ik wilde dus eten voordat ik college had. Hoera, instant noodles. Ook kookte ik alvast wat rijst, want de les zou tot 20:00 duren en dan zou ik daarna nog moeten koken.

Ik zat in de keuken op mijn telefoon met Merel te appen (hoi als je dit leest) toen ik ineens een mail van Arts kreeg met het nieuws dat de rector alle lessen had afgeschaft.

Huh? Waarom kreeg ik dat alleen van Arts? Toen keek ik online en toen zag ik dat mijn les dus last minute was geannuleerd. Al dat gedoe van timing voor niets.

Wat nu?

Nou, ik wilde eigenlijk een trui kopen met lange mouwen maar met een iets dunnere stof, dus het kwam toch wel goed uit.

Oh. Creep alert. Twee mannen die nu een groep jonge vrouwen aanspreken. Dit moet toch wel een soort challenge zijn? Proberen ze te kijken wie als eerste een selfie met een meid kunnen krijgen zonder de meiden te vertellen dat het een challenge is? Hebben ze nooit gehoord van creep alert en girl code?

Haha loser. Het heeft niets opgeleverd. Oh God nu is een andere weer een meid na aan het roepen. Ze hebben dit niet goed doorgedacht.

Oké. Ik nam de bus terug naar de stad en ik heb de hele H&M doorgelopen, maar ze hebben geen leuke shirts met lange mouwen.

Oh God. Wat is het met de religieuzen deze keer? (Het is zo fucking ironisch dat ik de hele tijd "oh God" gebruik). Net werd ik aangesproken door iemand die kaartjes voor een gebed uitgeeft. Ik zag haar aankomen en ik zag ze van tevoren praten, dus ik heb gewoon gesproken. Ze probeerde echt te bonden. Ze vond het jammer toen ik aangaf dat ik niet wilde komen, maar ze bleef tenminste niet doordrammen.

MIJN VERHAAL WORDT STEEDS ONDERBROKEN. HET IS INMIDDELS 17:45.

Dus ja, geen shirts. Er was alleen een geweldige sweater maar a) ik heb al te veel sweaters en b) het was €20 en c) het hele punt was om iets lichts te vinden voor op mijn grijze broek.

Toen ben ik even rond gaan lopen en ik heb aan het water gezeten. Er was een schattige hond, maar die liep alle kanten op. Of de hond was alleen, of het baasje lette niet op. Er was wel een halsband en op een bepaald moment t was ik bijna achter de hond aangelopen om te kijken of er een telefoonnummer op de halsband stond, maar het was optie 2. Het baasje riep hondje lief terug. Het was wel een schatje.

Het was goed weer, dus meerderen zaten aan het water. Eén iemand zat ook te lezen. He knows where it’s at. Ik had het idee om mam te bellen vanaf het water, maar ze was bezig.

Zie je al die bogen? Dat zijn allemaal ramen van kleine café’s, eettentjes en winkeltjes. Ik weet alleen niet wat op de onderste verdieping te zien is. Dus ik heb even gezeten en toen besloot ik om me te verplaatsen.

En toen... nou toen zat ik hier. Ik had weer een beetje hetzelfde als eerst. Het weer zorgde ervoor dat ik naar buiten wilde, maar eenmaal buiten had ik niet veel te doen.

Het is net na middernacht, dus een nieuwe dag! Ja, hoi, ik ben mijn slaapschema nog steeds aan het verknallen.

Oké, ik heb dus een meme template generator gevonden. Houd dit in gedachten. Maar serieus, luister naar Laura’s (Madison in glee) nieuwe nummer. Jammer dat glee haar nooit een solo heeft gegeven.

Ander nieuws in muziekland: mijn koptelefoon is gesneuveld. Ach ja, de audiokabel was €1 van de Action, dus ik ben verbaasd dat die het zo lang heeft uitgehouden.

Verder is er weer een bot die mijn posts liket enz. in de hoop voor aandacht. Porn bots op tumblr zijn nu begonnen met het spammen van hartjes emojis. Natuurlijk is de geweldige tumblr staff er mee bezig.

Ah. So much love on this site. Maar ja, serieus. Dit probleem is al minstens 3 jaar bezig 🤷🏻‍♀️. Ik voeg dit gedeelte toe omdat sommigen misschien wel in de krant hebben gelezen dat tumblr miljoenen heeft verloren wegens dit hele fiasco en dat gebruikers er niet blij mee zijn. Dit soort posts zie ik geregeld en dit is nog een rustige versie. Als je het hele verhaal wilt horen, geef het aan en ik vertel het met genoegen. Ik heb namelijk leedvermaak.

Sorry voor de mega onduidelijke en rommelige blog post. Ik laat de music recs nu expres weg. Terug naar het verhaal.

Nadat ik klaar was met schrijven, besloot ik een ijsje te halen. Ik had zin in ijs en hey, het was goed weer, maar ik had net instantnoodles gegeten. Daarom had ik niet meteen ijs genomen.

Hilarisch genoeg begon het koud te worden toen ik ijs ging halen. Op een bepaald moment begonnen mijn handen zelfs te trillen van de kou, maar ik had goed ijs. Het was duurder dan verwacht. Er stond “1 scoop - 2 flavours” voor €2,30. Ik nam 2 scoops met verschillende smaken, niet 1, dus ik betaalde €3,80. Ach, het was goed ijs en het was veel ijs.

Maar ja, ik had een ijsje gehaald bij Cacao. In de introductietour zeiden Ana en Tadeja als dat deze plaats goed ijs had.

Ik had geen zin om nog een uur op het beroemde plein (btw, het heet Prešeren Square) te blijven, plus de religieuzen waren nog overal mensen aan aan het bespreken. Herinneren jullie die creeps die vrouwen nariepen? Ook mensen van Jezus. Ik weet niet of dit het nu nog creepier maakt of niet. Eigenlijk wel. Dude, als je de woorden van de Heer wilt verspreiden, zou ik het echt op een andere manier doen. Ga niet een mensen naroepen en achtervolgen enz.

Ik liep maar langs het water en uiteindelijk ging ik zitten op een bankje. Er was ook een leuke vogel rond aan het vliegen.

Yeah. Het ijsje heb ik opgegeten op het universiteitsplein en toen ging ik naar huis. Ik zat goed vol, dus ik had geen zin om te koken. 

Barbara is terug naar Kroatië. Het was een last minute beslissing vanochtend, want Kroatië is van plan om alle grenzen dicht te gooien. 

Ik denk dat haar gedachtegang dit is: “Als ik ergens vast kom te zitten, dan zit ik liever thuis vast.” Ze is van plan om 10 dagen weg te gaan, maar als Kroatië dus toch alles dichtgooit, gaat het langer duren.

Een andere reden dat ik zeer actief bezig ben (who am I) is dat ik verwacht dat alles binnenkort dicht gaat. Het is best wel raar dat alleen de universiteiten dicht zijn. Alle studenten kunnen elkaar niet meer besmetten op de campus, maar wel in de stad! Het was mega druk vandaag.

Here we go me frend; Ok; so. First of all; the group name meaning is something around the lines of  ‘like gold, to shine forever’ it changed a couple of times with the line up changes but yeah this is where we’re at now. They are, btw, the kings of line up changes. Prepare for sadness.

They’ve technically been around since 2012 but only two of the original 4 members are still active in the group. They first came out under the Name of 4K in case you want to look up their Debut MV!

24. Mijn eerste Sloveense post...

... en het is VGZ die me een fijn buitenlands verblijf wenst. Lief, maar internationale post daar echt voor nodig?

Oh en kijk, mijn tumblr activity voor dit blog lijkt op een hoedje:

De muziek playlist is terug. Nu is het tijd voor Glee cast bops. Dit zijn goede nummers van glee cast leden die eigen muziek hebben uitgebracht. (Home Sweet Home van Damian McGinty, oftewel Rory in glee. Je merkt wel dat Damian een soort van zachte popmuziek stijl heeft.)

Verder komt het coronavirus dichterbij. Slovenië is omringd met besmette landen: Italië, Oostenrijk, Zwitserland, Kroatië. Ik heb geen idee hoe het in Hongarije is. Ik las dat Nederland ook omringd is door Duitsland en België.

Om eerlijk te zijn, maak ik me niet heel veel zorgen. Caroline en Kath zeiden ook al: het ergste wat kan gebeuren is dat we 14 dagen binnen moeten blijven. Niet ideaal, want na een lange tijd heb je er wel genoeg van, maar als iemand in huis het virus krijgt, komen we er wel doorheen. Die Belg met coronavirus heeft het ook zelf verwerkt, maar volgens Caroline zit hij nu juist in Italië, dus dat is kut. Maar oké, je kan er dus doorheen komen. Het zijn de ouderen, zieken en zwakken die de extra aandacht nodig hebben.

Barbara, aan de andere kant, is een beetje panisch. Ze is ook al een beetje aan het hamsteren. Blijkbaar is ze niet de enige, want volgens Barbara was de Hoffner helemaal leeg. Kath, Caroline en ik hadden al besproken of we moeten gaan hamsteren, maar voorlopig is de paniek niet al te hoog. 

De universiteit blijft ook voorzorgsmaatregelen sturen. Het verandert wel dingen, want gisteren moest iemand hoesten op de drukke bus en dan heb je wel een “oh shit” moment. 

(Alweer Damian met Sixteen. Er zijn 79 nummers op deze playlist en 7 zijn van Damian.) (Ik heb net even alle nummers zitten tellen. Nu zit ik op My Ex van OVERSTREET, de band van Chord Overstreet, oftewel Sam. Alle 9 nummers van OVERSTREET staan op deze lijst, maar van Chord zelf is er maar 1.)

Het meeste wat wij tot nu toe gemerkt hebben is dat dingen worden geannuleerd. ESN had dus de Parliament Tour en een feest en karaoke geannuleerd. Barbara zou met haar studie een weekend naar Berlijn gaan, maar dat gaat ook niet meer door. Caroline hoopt dat de wijntrip naar Piran wel nog door gaat, maar dat is relatief dichtbij de Italiaanse grens.

(Darren Criss’s Jealousy heb ik zo lang niet meer gehoord. Darren Criss is Blaine. Helaas heeft hij tot op de dag vandaag niet al zijn nummers professioneel opgenomen. Darren, het is 2020. Waar blijven Stutter en I Still Think en Another Love Affair en nog meer?)

Een ander ongerelateerd ding dat geannuleerd is, is mijn college van vandaag. Nee, niet het ochtendcollege, maar ik zou eigenlijk The body and technology moeten volgen vanaf 16:00 tot 20:00, maar dat gaat vandaag niet door. 

Ik had vanochtend dus wel mijn eerste les Media Criticism. Het is inmiddel 13:32, btw, en ik had les van 8:30. Officieel t/m 12:00, maar dit was een introductiecollege van 20 minuten en daarna gingen we een film kijken voor onze eerste opdracht. De film was de bekende Citizen Kane en het was niet slecht. Ik kon het gewoon niet geloven dat deze film uit 1941 is en dat de 19e eeuw toen nog enigszins recent was. Die Charles Foster Kane is geboren in 1866 of zo. 

Nu weet ik tenminste waar deze meme vandaan komt:

We moeten het verhaal van Citizen Kane toepassen op de huidige situatie in ons land van herkomst, maar we hebben geen idee wat we nu precies moeten toepassen. Zoveel onderwerpen werden onder onze neus geduwd in iets minder dan 2 uur.

Blijkbaar heb ik hier ook om de week les. Woah, did not see that coming. Het vak is blijkbaar deels Engels en deels Sloveens, dus de Erasmus studenten hoeven alleen naar de Engelse colleges en de Slovenen hoeven alleen naar de Sloveense colleges. Er zijn wel 2 gastcolleges voor beide groepen.

Dit semester wordt dus rustiger dan gedacht, but don’t be fooled, want alle vakken hebben opdrachten en veel literatuur. Het is dus weer tijd voor veel zelfstudie.

Ik kwam zowel Sanne als Rita tegen bij Media Criticism, maar ook Katie. Katie is de vriendin van Sanne’s kamergenoot Delaney. Ik heb even over haar gesproken in 8. Oh, what a night, maar ik dacht dat haar naam Kaylee was. Zoals jullie weten was dat een andere situatie. Katie zit blijkbaar ook in Body and technology, dus ik vroeg aan haar hoe het was. Ik kon namelijk niet bij het introductiecollege zijn, want toen a) had ik Chinese les en b) wist ik nog niet dat ik dit vak ging doen. Volgens Katie was het best vaag, maar de leraar was “chill”.

(Darren’s Sami. Lulu vond dit nummer altijd leuk. Darren heeft de meeste nummers op deze playlist, namelijk 12 en dan ook nog 3 met zijn band Computer Games.)

Katie bracht ons naar de eetgelegenheden van Faculty of Economics. Daar kon je bij een cafetaria eten, of je kon broodjes enz. kopen bij een café genaamd Bigdil.

Nee, andere Dil, namelijk Bigdil. Dus ik heb een warme panini met mozzarella, tomaat en pesto gegeten voor 0 hele euro’s. Ah, Boni!

Mijn faculteit heeft een (precies) gelijksoortig café genaamd AULA. Volgens Katie is er niet echt een groot verschil tussen Bidgil en AULA, maar ze wisselt gewoon af voor de lol. 

Als ik terug ben in Nederland, zou ik weer moeten wennen aan de prijzen daar. Zelfs zonder Boni is een panini hier goedkoop. Tenminste, als je buiten de toeristische plaatsen bent.

(Ik weet niet echt wat ik moet denken van Jenna Ushkowitz’s Standing on My Own. Het is zo dramatisch, maar Jenna heeft gewoon de beste stem. Jenna is Tina.)

Aangezien we verder een vrije dag hebben, zijn Sanne en ik naar huis gelopen. Wel nog even gestopt bij de Mercator, want Barbara schreef op de app dat onze handzeep op is. Dat is nu wel een cruciaal iets.

Dus ja, dat is het. Aangezien mijn andere college geannuleerd is, zie ik geen reden om nu nog naar buiten te gaan. Het weer is ook bagger. Sanne zei dat het haar moest laten denken aan Nederland, maar ik las dat het sneeuwde in Nederland.

Hier heeft het alleen maar geregend en ook eventjes gehageld. De mooie zonnige dagen zijn voorbij.

(Noah Guthrie had misschien maar een paar afleveringen in glee als Roderick, maar hij heeft zeker een indruk achtergelaten. Zijn stem is hemels en je hoort het heel goed in Moment. Ik ben naar zijn concert gegaan in december!)

Dus ja, ik denk niet dat ik deze post nu (anno 13:55) publiceer, want het is best kort en ik weet, ik weet, ik ben niet van plan om nog naar buiten te gaan, maar je weet maar nooit.

(Darren’s Foolish Thing is mijn favoriete nummer van zijn Homework EP. Ik ben in 2018 met Merel naar zijn concert in Londen geweest en tot de dag van vandaag vind ik haar quote “Ik heb nog nooit zo’n religieuze ervaring in een kerk gehad” geweldig. Ja, zijn concert was in een kerk.)

(Alex Newell, oftewel Unique, was niet mijn favoriet in glee, maar ik heb zijn muziek een paar jaar geleden ontdekt en wow. Devilish is zo goed.)

Zoals verwacht heb ik niet meer veel gedaan. Als ik plannen had gehad, dan had het weer het ook wel verkloot. Het heeft gehageld en daarna ook nog gesneeuwd. Inmiddels is het grootste deel dat op mijn dakraam lag gesmolten.

Sanne en ik zijn de papieren voor de First Residence Permit in aan het vullen. Ik had ze al een week geleden ingevuld, maar het is altijd handig om te controleren. Ik had sommige delen namelijk overgeslagen, want de vragen zijn best vaag.

Morgen gaan we naar Administration. We gaan vroeg rond half 9 (rip mijn plannen om uit te slapen), want het kan dus druk zijn. Alsnog, Kath en Rita hebben uren gewacht. Het ergste is dat er ook nog een grote kans is dat we onze permit pas krijgen als we weggaan.

“Wiet” had tijdens de tour uitgelegd dat er een soort van constitutionele crisis was en als gevolg is de Sloveense administratie niet meer top-notch. Helena, van Central International Office, had op de introductiedag ook al verteld dat de autumn Erasmus studenten hun permit pas in januari kregen.

Context: autumn semester was vanaf begin september tot ergens begin-midden januari. De meesten gingen bijna al weer weg.

(Oh, ja, er staan ook covers op deze playlist. De cover van Elastic Heart, gezongen door Noah en Laura Dreyfuss, oftewel Madison, is zo goed. De combinatie van de stemmen is zo mooi. Waarom hebben deze twee nooit een duet gehad in glee? Ik herinner me dat velen Roderick x Madison een interessante ship vonden.)

Morgen gaan we dus lekker lang in de rij staan. Daar ga ik tenminste van uit. Ik denk niet dat dit zoals de Boni is, waar alleen de eerste dagen veel drukte is.

Rita had ons wel gewaarschuwd dat je dus naar de balie moet waar ze Engels spreken. Herinner je dat? Rita had uren gewacht en toen bleek ze ook nog eens verkeerd te zijn. Rita had Sanne verteld dat de vrouw achter de balie weigerde Engels te praten, want “daar was ze niet toe verplicht”.

Dan vraag ik me wel af: je werkt bij de administratie van de Sloveense overheid met een internationale afdeling. Mensen die hiernaar toe komen, zijn niet-Slovenen die zich komen registreren.

Niet-Slovenen die niet altijd Sloveens praten.

Stel je voor, ik ga bij gemeente Nijmegen werken om buitenlandse studenten te helpen en ik weiger ze te helpen als ze niet genoeg Nederlands kunnen na de volle anderhalve week dat ze in het land zijn.

Het is gewoon een beetje raar, want in glee speelde hij Joe, de ultra christen die op zijn blote voeten naar school kwam om dichter bij Jezus te zijn en die zijn hele lichaam onder had getatoeëerd met teksten uit de Bijbel (wat btw een zonde is volgens de Bijbel die hij op zijn lichaam heeft geplakt). Dat is er een verschil tussen letterlijke “Teen Jesus” en dit soort nummers best groot.)

Oké, genoeg over het Residence Permit gedoe. Ik heb er nu al geen zin in.

Verder heb ik eindelijk iets in mijn schetsboek gezet. Ja, dat schetsboek dat ik gekocht heb in BTC. Nog geen tekeningen enz., maar meer een indicatie van wat ik wilde tekenen, namelijk... mijn sims....

Ik wil gewoon een soort van ritme of lijst hebben die ik kan tekenen? Zoals Anneke, die elke dag een outfit of een paard ging tekenen. Dat is gewoon de beste manier om te beginnen.

En het eerste waar ik aan moest denken is mijn 8 generatie lange Pereira-Crabtree family.

Dus ja, ik heb nog niet echt iets getekend, maar ik heb alle namen van mijn sims opgeschreven, zodat ik een houvast heb. Nu kan ik niet meer terug. Nu moet ik wel tekenen, wahahahaa. Ik weet niet of ik één Sim per dag ga doen, of 3 Sims per dag, want ik heb 3 namen per pagina geschreven.

Het zijn 36 pagina’s. 108 sims. Ik heb ook het gevoel dat ik misschien iemand vergeten ben.

Ja, ik heb wel eventjes genoeg inspiratie. En er zijn nog meer sims in aantocht. De 8e generatie staat op het punt om uit te breiden.

Ik ben ook van plan om het “from memories” te doen en luister, ik speel veel sims, dat weet ik, maar sommige sims zijn al jaren dood, dus natuurlijk zie ik die niet meer. Ik ben misschien een beetje geïnspireerd door KickThePJ’s drawing from memory series op YouTube. De laatste toevoeging was Undertale.

Oh my fucking god tumblr you shit site. Ik probeer de hele tijd de video van PJ toe te voegen, maar elke keer verwijdert deze site automatisch mijn appendix. Dus toen probeerde ik mijn appendix maar te kopiëren, zodat ik het later toe kon voegen, maar deze vreselijke site verkloot altijd bulletpointposts.

Ugh. Ik probeer ook een goede gif van PJ te vinden, maar het gif systeem van deze site is net zo klote. Het is niet dat ik geen goede gif kan vinden, maar tumblr gaf me een goede hilarische gif en toen ik erop wilde klikken, verdween die gif en nu kan ik het niet terug vinden, zelfs met de juiste tags, want het hele tag systeem van deze site is ook klote.
