#that Katsuki is the one that makes Deku act ‘selfishly’

Text
The promised incoherent BKDK rant ! I’m not entirely sure of where I’m going with this, or if it makes sense, but I Realized and then I couldn’t stop Realizing and I had to put it down somewhere. This might get a bit rambly at times but bear with me guys
This is about bkdk, but to talk about bkdk I wanna talk about Uraraka and Toga as well because I believe they parallel bkdk. Not just on the Love = Imitation thing though that’s part of it, but also the way Deku handles his feelings toward Katsuki in relation to Heroism.
Uraraka and Toga are foils, and aside from highlighting how the way they handle their feelings are similar and different, they also reflect the attitudes of Heroism and Villainy. Uraraka is a Hero because she acts selflessly. She prioritizes becoming a Hero and helping people over her own feelings for Deku, and in turn represses them so they don’t become a liability. On the other hand, Toga is a villain because she’s ‘selfish’. She couldn’t suppress her feelings anymore, so now she prioritizes the things she wants and loves regardless of how they affect other people. In short, suppression = selflessness = Heroism; indulgence = selfishness = Villainy.
Now what the heck does this have to do with Deku and his feelings for Katsuki? Well I think he follows much of the same pattern Uraraka does. Deku consistently loses control of his feelings because of Katsuki throughout the series, and this comes to a head when he unlocks sixquirks. His feelings for Katsuki start to become a liability: when he unlocks Blackwhip he endangers his classmates, and after he unlocks Danger Sense he loses himself to the point where he nearly got OFA stolen, killed, possibly caused the end of the world, etc. Both of these instances were caused by someone saying or doing something to Katsuki. And every time he loses control of his feelings he becomes a liability as Hero, so he has to learn to ‘control his heart.’
So, Deku follows much of the same pattern Uraraka did: They experience strong feelings toward someone, until those feelings begin negatively affecting their Hero work, so they push those feelings down in order to become better Heroes. Selflessness. And Deku is selfless, so much so it becomes a fault. Time and time again, people point out Deku’s selflessness and how he always puts others before himself. The true imagine of a Hero.
Except, as far as I can tell, for this moment:
Tumblr media
I can never let go of this interaction between Deku and Compress because it is absolutely insane to me. Not only is Deku losing his shit because of Katsuki being taken, that much is understandable. But to make a point to have Compress call out Deku for being possessive? Yeah, that’s gonna keep me up at night. And it was me thinking about this scene for the 10293493 time that got me writing this long winded rant. Because Compress here calls Deku an ‘egoist.’ He’s not repressing his feelings, he’s lashing out, inadvertently indulging in the feelings he tends to suppress. To Compress, a Villain, this outburst appears egoistical. In a way, selfish. He’s losing control of his heart, and it is once again because of Katsuki.
And as I was losing my mind over this little detail, I remembered this happens in Chapter 81. What happens in Chapter 80?
Tumblr media
Toga introduces the concept of Imitation as a form of Love. Something which is seen not only in Uraraka but also in the way Deku acts toward Katsuki.
Coincidence? Well, probably lmao. But maybe I’m not crazy and it’s not.
Am I going anywhere in specific with this? No, not really. I have many thoughts and they lead to nowhere coherent. But after I realized how insane it was for Deku out of all people to be called an ‘egoist’ I couldn’t leave it alone and woah, what the hell.

That Tsuyu flashback soured the whole thing for me. Still can't get over her ass making Katsuki's kidnapping all abt her precious woobie feelings. Or Ida being more than ready to let Katsuki die or suffer untold horrors, and giving his "what about MY feelings, Midoriya?" speech, but going on the rescue bc *gasp* Deku might be hurt! Back then they were ALL pretty much like "the pros will handle it hehe :)." I still only respect Kiri, Shoto, Deku & Momo (and Kats, ofc). Hypocrites. (p1)
(p2) I know it might sound super petty but I can't help it. To this day, I know none of their asses would've acted differently still. Whereas Katsuki, for all that he's supposed to be the unfeeling asshole, has proven to be one the people who actually has a hero's spirit and looks out for his teammates, regardless of friendship level. So yeah, I would've enjoyed this more if only a few people had gone to retrieve Deku, bc seeing the difference in their reactions w Katsuki's kidnapping sucks.
(p3) This means my only highlights in this awful arc are Shoto being allowed to be resentful and Katsuki coming through with his... everything, tbh. He's truly the MVP, and at this point honestly he's beyond everyone in maturity levels. And I love the blossoming of his slow progression in caring and being there for Shoto, from being gentle with his secrets to subtly looking out for him to now being his open support and comfort. And I'm so infinitely proud to see him step it for Deku like this.
It was a completely different situation around Bakugou's kidnapping. Back then, they still had All Might - nobody even knew about his time limit or weak form other than Deku. Plus they mobilized all the pros. The kids had no hero licenses, only a few months into their first year, and they were told to stay put. Basically all of them recognized it that on some level they were acting selfishly and irrationally - Kirishima because he couldn't do anything during the actual attack, Shouto and Deku probably because Bakugou was snatched in right of their eyes and felt responsible, and Iida and Momo went along to make sure that they don't get too reckless.
Tumblr media
Their faith in hero society had no reason to be shaken much yet (though it's interesting that Shouto, Deku and Iida had had their run-in with Stain already, so they already experienced how nonsense the laws were, Momo was interning with a celebrity hero forced to do hair commercials).
So even if their actions got validated in the end, who is to say that the pros we saw around, like Mt Lady, or arriving later, like Edgeshot, Tiger, Gang Orca, Kamui Woods, Endeavor couldn't have handled Bakugou's extraction (if he could hold out long enough against the villains).
Now the situation is different. All Might retired, hero society has collapsed. Deku went off solo, while everyone left them behind like useless children, even though they have hero licenses and have proven themselves in the war.
Deku seems like he's a walking target, Bakugou further riled them up that he's in the worst possible mindset with All Might and an intervention is needed.
Their current behavior is not simply a Deku vs Bakugou popularity contest, but it's rooted in the wildly different context and how the rules kind of lost their meaning / have been revealed to be useless.
I think Class A would support every single one of their own - the post-war brief hospital scenes showed that. And the way the class is lining up to save Deku is very much also a show of support of Bakugou and a faith in what he says is true.

Roommates au for Kiribaku
It ended up being longer than I assumed but I hope you’ll like it!
"Yo!"
It's 5:48 AM on a Tuesday, and Kirishima is waving with an energetic grin at his doorstep, with a big red suitcase right next to him.
"What the fuck?" Bakugou reacts expectedly, glaring daggers into his best friends face while the offending redhead does not deter at all, walking past him into his house.
"What the fuck?" Bakugou repeats again, with less venom but more shock, as he watches the other drag his suitcase into the middle of his living room and yawn. The door closes itself.
Kirishima Eijirou, Red Riot, a hero who sits number 7 at the Hero Charts. Surprisingly the only hero in the charts who works in Kansai, even though he's not from there.
"Why the fuck are you here?" Despite his angry appearance, Bakugou doesn't have any actual power behind his words, already surrendered to whatever Kirishima had decided before showing up here.
Kirishima explains that he's in Tokyo for a long term job, one that they needed his defensive skills. He adds a bit shyly that he doesn't think he can be that much help, and if they wanted defence, there are other heroes who could do just as much if not more.
Bakugou grunts. Number 7, and yet he still laughs as he speaks such non-fucking-sense. "That doesn't answer my question." He decides to say instead - he'll beat it into Kirishima's head later that he's one of the best out there. "Why are you /here/?" He asks again instead.
Kirishima laughs embarrassedly. Bakugou feels his chest tighten. He had forgotten how bright Kirishima was.
"I don't have another place to go so I thought I'd crash at yours. It's fine, right?"
Of-fucking-course it's fine, even if Bakugou initially seemed against the idea, it's not like he didn't miss Kirishima. It's been two years since the other moved to Osaka after the Osaka-Incident, an appearance of a villain gang that the Kansai heroes had a tough time restraining. Red Riot volunteered himself to help, as "There are already many top heroes in Tokyo. I want to be where I'm needed."
It actually inspired more heroes to work in smaller cities, at the same time, villain activity increased in those places. Something about balance, Bakugou guessed. Still, he hated that it took away his best friend from him, not that he ever said anything about it.
And now, said best friend stood not that far away from him, stretching his back and already making himself at home. "So, where's my room? I'm beat."
Just like that, they begin to live together, already used to each other's routines from their dorm days.
Bakugou wakes up at 7 am, has the bathroom to himself until 8 am while Kirishima is still asleep enjoying his dreamland. He wakes up around the same time the door bangs close.
9 AM Kirishima wakes up with the sound of Bakugou leaving home,  in the kitchen, there's already breakfast waiting for him.
They begin to send more texts to each other. "What time will you be home?" "I'll eat out tonight." "I'm shopping, need anything?"
Kirishima comes home early and takes over the cleaning duties. He can't cook well, so the first few attempts of him taking over the dinner are met with a highly unimpressed gaze.
Kirishima blushes and mutters "We can order pizza or something." Bakugou bites into his tasteless katsu-curry (how do you make curry with no taste). "It's fine, let's eat."
Bakugou, on the other hand, makes food like a 5-star restaurant. Kirishima always asks for seconds and looks like he's in heaven.
More often than not, Bakugou finds himself staring at Kirishima those times. He has a soft smile on his lips, his eyes curved gently and a low appreciating hum that makes Bakugou's heart beat faster. He won't ever admit it, but he wants to see that expression more often.
Happiness looks good on Kirishima.
There are times where one of them come home with injuries.
A secret understanding between them helps create a new routine that mends them physically and mentally, a silent agreement for what the other needs.
Kirishima needs validation. That he did his best. That he'll be fine. He needs Bakugou to be softer around the edges, so that's what he does. "I saw on the news. They're fucking lucky you were there." Bakugou says nonchalantly, but Kirishima knows the feeling behind those words and feels warmth embrace his broken heart and begin to heal slowly.
Bakugou, on the other hand, needs confirmation. He needs to know everything is fine, that he managed to protect and save. He needs to see that nothing changed. Kirishima welcomes him home and becomes his anchor with eased practice. Puts on a movie and lets Bakugou stare at him the whole time, so the other can make sure Kirishima is safe.
They both dance around the fact that they need each other the most.
Bakugou goes to bed early, even on nights where Kirishima asks him to join when they go out with the "Bakusquad". For good old times, he says, and Bakugou rejects.
He thinks with him there, the 'old friends' won't be as comfortable. After all, all he does is yell and get angry and insult. His only redeeming quality lately is that he's a fucking good hero. One of the best, even if he's only number two.
So Kirishima calls them over instead. Texts Bakugou: "I called the squad over so make sure we have enough food for 6, thanks!"
It's a text so Bakugou's curse words as a reply aren't as effective.
Still, when they arrive, there's enough food for 6 and a dejected-looking explosive murder god.
Despite all his worries, the others are just as friendly as they were in high-school, teasing him for his grumpiness. Kaminari scolds Bakugou for never calling him. "Don't make us miss you, man. At least answer my calls from time to time."
They all know Bakugou yells when he's embarrassed so his expected "Shut up idiot face!" doesn't faze anyone. Kirishima looks at Bakugou warmly.
Bakugou catches his gaze and feels his heart skip a beat.
Why he looked at him so softly, like he's seeing through him (he probably is), like he appreciates him (he probably does). Bakugou doesn't think he deserves Kirishima, but he'll take it selfishly anyway.
The others brought alcohol, because what's better than drinking and reminiscing on a weekend with old friends- especially now that Kirishima is back with them.
That's smart, getting drunk.
The previous sentence was sarcasm, because the more Bakugou drinks, the more he finds he can't control his gaze away from the red-haired menace.
Who by the way looked brighter and brighter the more he looked at him, with an attractive blush on his cheeks. His eyes had a certain spark in them that Bakugou knew which meant Kirishima was having fun. His smile and laughter loud.
The alcohol made it much harder to chain down the route his thoughts inclined to go. His heart acted individually, opposed to all the self rules he's inflicted on himself.
'Ah,' Bakugou thought. 'I want to kiss him.'
Their eyes met. In the background, Sero is arguing with Kaminari while Jirou is filming their pseudo fight about which retro hero would be number one if they were working at their best now.
Ashido is loud, but Bakugou can't make out what she's yelling about. Something about 'Deku can win against them anyway!'. It's probably a good thing he's not paying any attention.
Kirishima looks surprised for a second but then flashes him /that/ smile. Which makes Bakugou sick to his stomach, because that's his best friend.
If he knew what Bakugou was thinking, he'd probably want to move out immediately, wouldn't he?
And so Bakugou learns to keep his feelings secret, while it grows within his walls of self-protection. Kirishima, oblivious to Bakugou's inner turmoil, continues to be himself, supportive and kind.
Until...
"What the fuck are you doing, shitty hair?" "Oh! I think I found a good apartment near the agency."
There's good news and bad news. Good news is that Kirishima decides to move back to Tokyo. The villain gang in Osaka is already defeated. There is actually a hero team rising in the charts that he can depend on to take care of Kansai instead. He will go back if necessary but after these few months in Tokyo, he's assigned a much more important role, and the issue doesn't seem like it will go away soon.
The bad news is that because he's thinking of permanently moving back, "I don't want to impose any longer! I'm sure you want your old lifestyle back!"
The idiot couldn't be more wrong, but it's not like Bakugou can confess to it.
Still, it doesn't stop him from angrily leaving the house by exclaiming he has work to do. "Do whatever the fuck you want."
The week Kirishima is house hunting, he's also facing many backlashes from Bakugou, and he can't figure out why the hell his best friend is so angry.
And he should, right? He's his best friend. Even if they weren't near each other for these past two years, they managed to pick up from where they left, see through each other's lies and pain. Kirishima couldn't ask anyone for any advice because he should know Bakugou the best. He should be able to understand why Bakugou is suddenly so angry with him to the point that he hardly speaks at dinner anymore.
Then strange things begin to happen. Every house he manages to somewhat find, calls him back to say they received a better offer, or they changed their mind. Suddenly he can't find a place to move into.
Kaminari has a friend who's renting out his apartment, so he offers to help Kirishima out. "That'll be great, thanks!"
That night he talks to Bakugou, "I think I finally found a place." He laughs. Bakugou frowns deeper.
Ah, this is bad. He can't hold it back anymore.
"Do you want to leave that much?" He asks angrily as if he's blaming Kirishima, and perhaps he is. It's definitely his fault that his heart aches in ways that he's never felt pain.
"Katsuki... Do you... not want me to leave?" Kirishima finally sees through the mask of indifference. Bakugou hates the expression on his face, can tell his friend is already understanding more than Bakugou was willing to let him know.
"Took you long enough to figure it out, you fucking idiot," he yells instead, voice just as explosive as his quirk.
And there's the question waiting to be asked, at the tip of Kirishima's tongue. Because he'd want to know, wouldn't he? Why wouldn't Bakugou want Kirishima out, even if they were best friends, he'd want his freedom back, wouldn't he? Shouldn't he?
There's silence and neither of them wants to break it. Bakugou because he knows he'll say too much if he opens his mouth. Kirishima because he knows Bakugou will close up if he's the first one to speak. And out of the two of them, one had much less patience than the other.
So he breaks.
"Because I fucking need you here."
Need.
"Because I'm fucking lonely when you're not here."
Want.
"Because even if it's impossible for you to feel the same way, I..."
He, what?
Bakugou is red with fury, embarrassment and something deeper that Kirishima can't put a finger on. His heartbeat is loud in his ears that every other noise other than Bakugou's is irrelevant.
"Feel what way?" Kirishima asks, demanding, his hands shaking. There's that light in his eyes again, hopeful and determined. Bakugou can't take his eyes away.
The silence stretches. Bakugou's anger slowly dies out the longer he meets Kirishima's gaze. Finally, they are honest with each other.
"I'm not going to fucking confess."
"You can kiss me though, right?"
Another grunt and Bakugou pulls Kirishima in, the spark in his hand meeting the instinctively hardening skin on his neck. Another type of explosion that Bakugou never knew takes over the fluttering in his chest, taking over his heart as their lips meet. Forceful, demanding, daring.
"You're not fucking going anywhere."
It's not like the living room didn't already have figurines of Crimson Riot, a punching bag, the bathroom already dominated by both their presence. The guest room already decorated by all Kirishima's furniture. It was already 'their' house, in every small place Kirishima left his impact on.
"In that case, I'll leave the rent to you." Kirishima jokes breathlessly after their kiss - as manly as kisses go, he had to give the first prize to Bakugou- the blonde knew how to kiss. Then again he was biased.
"No fucking way, in fact, you're paying half the bills from now on."
With a smirk, he waves to Kirishima, turning his back on him to go to the kitchen to clean the dishes or something.
"Eeeeehhhhhh." Kirishima whines, but there's a soft smile on his face.
After all, he's always known he loved Bakugou. And if it took them more than 7 years to come here, 2 of which they were separated... He'd just have to make up for all the lost years where Bakugou had to get in contact with his own feelings.
It will be worth the wait.

Reader is jealous of ochako’s relationship with Izuku, Yandere murder hijinks ensue? I suck a describing this sorta thing but this would make me a happy bean. Lotsa love for you dear!! 💕💖💞💕💘💗 -Peachy
Omg my LOVE 🥺 ur so right NOONE writes a yandere! reader these days!! I hope this was okay 💖💖
〰️💚 Unhealthy Obsessions 💚〰️
Pairing: Izuku Midoriya x yandere! reader
Fic type: Yandere
Warnings: gore, murder, yandere, kidnapping, obsessions, rip uraraka but y/n’s different
Plot: You know what Izuku needs. It’s definitely not Uraraka
Word count: 2079
Tumblr media
You knew Izuku Midoriya well.
You knew he wanted to be the next number 1 hero. You knew his childhood nickname from Bakugo Katsuki was Deku. You knew he was born quirkless. You knew his birthday was July 15th. You knew he stood at 5’5. You knew his mother's name was Inko and he wasn’t in contact with his father. You knew he had a hamster back home. You knew his favourite restaurant. You knew he did his laundry on Thursdays and he separated his whites. You knew he got up an hour earlier than everyone else to train in secret. You knew last week he cut his arm from a loose nail in the wall. You knew he mumbled to himself at nights when no one was awake, and you knew he stirred his coffee exactly six times before drinking it.
You knew Izuku Midoriya more than anyone else in the entire world. Unfortunately, Izuku Midoriya barely even knew you existed.
Pity.
You were just another girl in 1-A to him. Your relevance stopped at trading notes whenever he needed something difficult explained. Each time you saw him struggle with a concept, a burning fire erupted in your soul and you scrambled to help him with whatever it was.
His constant gratitude sent shocks of electricity up your veins, too. It tensed your muscles to know that he thought of you as a decent person.
His ignorance on all other fronts did very little to hinder your dedication. You decided that the less he knew about you, the more freedom you had to know more about him without getting caught.
Plus- it wasn’t as though your fluttering eyelashes and sneaky glances would get through his oblivious mind, because he was always preoccupied with his girlfriend, Ochako Uraraka. You always saw her, draped off his arm like a cheap piece of jewellery; squealing his name whenever he stepped foot into the same room as her
You often wondered if her squealing would sound any different if she were being held in a choke-hold…
That's why tonight would be so painstakingly glorious, for you anyway. Because tonight would finally be the night you would reap your victory over the boy that you deserved; that you worked so hard on. You knew the subject of Izuku back and forth, inside out and upside down. You bet Uraraka didn’t even know his ring fingers were only 2 milimetres longer than his pointers
Everyone was dispersed around the bar. You checked your phone to find it was 24 minutes past 10. Since it was a blissful summer’s night, the clouds outside were still lingering over the royal blue sky and the soft chill was only beginning to shake the leaves on the trees.
Izuku sat with some of your class, luckily those of which you managed to get somewhat close to over the year. Tsuyu Asui welcomed you over with a wave, handing you a fresh drink and kindly including you in the conversation. Your eyes were transfixed on your darling the entire time. Soon he’ll be yours.
But not now.
“Hey y/n!” The rosy voice of Ochako rang like a school bell first thing in the morning. You swallowed what was almost bile to the back of your throat and shot her a smile through pursed lips,
“Hi Uraraka!”
It was as friendly as you could muster, and she seemed to buy it- judging by how quickly the conversation flowed. You used your oh-so-bright, convincing personality to coax everyone into drinking a lot more than they probably should have. Anything to numb his memory, you thought, you couldn’t have your darling in distress for too long
It took a while for them all to drink enough to get up off their seats, and finally you were free to act
You began with the easiest step: the sleeping pills. You used this tactic a lot more than you would ever admit. But it was easy, quick, and the possibilities of you ever getting caught were reduced to almost nothing! What other methods promised such outcomes?
You finished popping them in as many of the cups as you could, managing to avoid any prying questions by Bakugo in the process. You never took him to be such a curious boy, but one time he had caught you rummaging through Izuku’s locker in the early hours before school, and you had carelessly blurted out something about leaving a memory pen there from the day before. You remembered the way he narrowed his eyes at you and stormed off again, muttering on about how careless other students were in comparison to him
You were grateful he ditched the subject after that night, but you never missed the questioning glances he would send your way when you were always first to offer Izuku help with cleaning out his things.
11 minutes past midnight.
You could feel a tornado of nerves spinning around in the pit of your stomach. It rose and fell with every person that slumped into their chairs and let your pills sing them to sleep. If they weren’t outcold, they were aimlessly stumbling around like zombies in the smoked-up strobe lights. Your plan, so far, was working in your favour. All that was left was the core of it.
Spotting your target alone for once curved a smile upward onto your red lips. She was searching for her phone, the one that you had swiped the moment she got up to dance. You had no remorse- she deserved it. Plus, it wasn’t like she’d be using it past today anyway
“Hey ochako!” your modulated voice complemented your bright smile perfectly. Her gaze found yours, and you could notice her distress through her exhausted state. Her eyes opened and shut slowly, and her speech was beginning to slur. Any moment now and she would join an unconscious Tsuyu at the other end of the table
“y/n...m-my..is e-everyone alright..?” she asked in a drowsy tone, sitting down at the end of the booth and gazing up to you hopelessly. You towered above her, full of energy while hers was actively depleting. The feeling itself sent a sugar rush straight to your chest, and you had to bite your lip to stop yourself from laughing out loud.
“Lie down Ochako…” you feigned worry, removing her hand from balancing her head and aiding her with resting on the table, “i’ll get you some water…”
She feebly nodded and her eyes slowly shut. The only challenge for you now was to hide her unconscious body from the eyes of your peers before they noticed something was wrong. However, judging by the way they were all exactly like her at the moment, that didn’t look at all likely
You blocked her from view until you were certain she was completely knocked out, and then slung her limp arm over your shoulder. She would be knocked out for at least two hours, and your task would take 45 minutes at the most. You basked in your blissful cruelty, ad kicked open one of the back doors of the bar
The cool chill of the June night gave you the intake of oxygen you needed after spending the night in the suffocatingly hot bar. The outdoor’s silence numbed your ears and the fresh smell of rain blessed your nostrils with something other than alcohol.
If you hadn’t have been about to commit murder, this would have passed for a rather peaceful night
You tugged Uraraka away from the back doors and began to tread up the small lane of an alleyway, caved in by bricks and graffiti. It looked like a crime scene just waiting to happen. You used your phone’s flashlight to find a little incision in the alley, and threw her body into it as though you were discarding something disgusting from the bottom of your shoe.
You had to admit. She looked peaceful lying slumped against the wall, with her arms crossed over her stomach to allow her body to squeeze in between the tiny crawl space. If she weren’t the most disgusting, threatening thing you had ever seen, maybe her demise would have been kinder
How tragic
You drew your pointed blade and selfishly let out a laugh; maniacal at worst. Her eyes didn’t budge when you roughly plunged it into her chest, but you could feel the fighting heaves in her chest nonetheless. It gave you a drive to continue slashing, although some of you wished she were awake, to resist you. That way you would feel more accomplished after you slaughtered her
But you can’t have everything, right?
You laughed another remorseless laugh and continued stabbing. Stabbing for every kiss they shared, and for every time they said “i love you”. Stabbing for every stupid gift she gave him, and stabbing for every single time she moaned his name. Stabbing until there was no room left to stab.
When you were certain she was dead, you drew your lighter. You knew only to burn the parts of her skin that you had touched, but you let yourself have a little fun on her face too. That look you always hated was now blistering red. That body you’ve always envied was now burnt to the bone. You could smell sizzling flesh burn it’s way up into your sinuses.
She looked prettier when she was mutilated, you concluded
You chucked the lighter in a nearby dumpster, then slipped your compact knife safely into its sheath and under the bottom of your bra. You returned to the bar, taking a few minutes to dismantle any active security cameras, and headed to the bathroom to change outfits
A few sleeping pills later and you were just as out cold as everyone else. You were as little of a suspect as Izuku himself right now, and that thought alone made you sleep like a baby
------------
“Izuku, darling?”
Your voice was like honey. Ever since Uraraka’s ‘tragic murder’ you had stepped in to assist Izuku with his recovery, because you knew more than anyone how much he needed all the love he could get right now
And for him, you had love to spare
“Yeah?” he asked feebly from the bed, where he was all wrapped up tightly in soft, fuzzy blankets and fresh bandages. They clung tightly to his broken wrist: the result of tumbling down the flight of slippery stairs
You almost felt sorry for him when it happened. You were expecting a broken arm at best, and were a little disappointed with the fact it was only his hand, but he whimpered so poorly that night that it put pangs of sadness in your heart. For once, you were grateful he always made a quick recovery
You would just have to make sure you used a stronger substance next time
“Dinner’s ready!” you cooed, appearing in his room with two full plates in your hand. He was bound here for as long as it took for his legs to start working again. Poor little accident prone izuku couldn’t even remember breaking them in the first place because of how strong his concussion was afterwards.
You still had the splatters of blood on your baseball bat in the basement ...
The sweetest sensation in the world was watching his eyes slowly droop while he was eating. You had put four sleeping pills in his food, and they were taking their toll rather quickly- much to your delight. As you said, they did the job better than anything else
“y- y/n… i feel tired…” he mumbled, and you took the fork from his hand to continue feeding him the rest until he was completely passed out.
How adorable was he… looking all too innocent in your filthy mind…
You indulged yourself with taking a few pictures of him for your album. How could you resist, when he looked so helplessly precious? And he was yours; all yours to keep for as long as forever
It took effort hoisting him over your shoulder and climbing up the creaky stairs to the attic.
He barely stirred as you closed the lid of the cardboard box over him and slammed the door shut again, rushing to change and head downstairs. The doorbell rang the moment your foot breached the final step
“Miss l/n? Detective Tsukauchi here, wondering if you could answer a few questions related to the disappearance of Izuku Midoriya?”

Not losing you (DEKU x KACCHAN)
The heavy smell of death meshed with burning smoke, causing him to cough. In the mass of stampede, like a pack of antelope, he watched the citizens ran down the rubbles. If it wasn't for his quick feet, he would have been trampled to death. Applying a small amount of strength, he jumped onto one of the boulder, looking around for his classmates. Izuku saw Iida and Kirishima on the other side of the sea of people. "TENYA!!!" he called out for Iida, waving his arms at them. "IZUKU!" the other waved back. "WHERE ARE THE REST?" "THEY'RE HELPING WITH THE EVACUATION! I CAN'T LOCATE BAKUGOU!" Izuku flinched. If Iida couldn't find Katsuki anywhere, it would mean trouble. Shiragaki was one of those who were obsessed in getting his hand on Katsuki's power. In recent development, he wasn't the only one. All Might mentioned how a few underground villains were also targetting Katsuki. He had to find him fast but how would he do that when there were too many people running in chaotic flow? No, he had too. There was no other choice or he would lose Katsuki again. "I'LL FIND HIM. CONTINUE WITH WHAT YOU'RE DOING!" "IZUKU, BE CAREFUL!" Izuku raised a thumbs up at the two boys. Jumping from each of the construction rubble, he climbed to the highest point he could find. He scanned the area for any sign of Katsuki. He saw a smoke trail painting the sky. It was the residue of it but it was from an explosion. It came from the North, away from Iida and Kirishima's location. It could have been Todoroki but he had met the fire and ice user on his way to Iida's location. "Kacchan..." his lips thinned and he ran towards the direction. Sure enough, he saw Katsuki being stepped on by a man with a beak mask. Shiragaki was standing at the side, all quietened. "This boy has yet to learn much about his quirk but we can fix that", said the masked man. "He will not obey you. I've dealt with him before. This boy is stubborn", Shiragaki added. "Fiery spirit, huh? A little memory erasure drug will make him a new man". "FUCKER", Katsuki struggled to stand but everytime he managed to lift an inch, he was pushed further into the earth. Suffocating, the blond teen struggled to breath. Izuku's heart burned with anger. The power surge in his veins matched the unwavering will to save Katsuki. He packed his punch on the man's jaw, giving him enough time to pull Katsuki and fled the location. Shiragaki made no move of chasing after him. It was almost like he wanted Izuku to save Katsuki. "What the hell are you dawdling for? Chase after them!" the masked man shouted his order. Just when they were about to follow the duo, a fiery shot blocked them from going forward. "Tch. Endeavour!" the masked villain said bitterly. " Let's go. My plan is not yet mature enough for us to go as far as bringing Endeavour down". ..... When Katsuki came to, he was on a hospital bed. He was unprepared to accept a flying hug; the curly mop hair really made him felt relieved. "Kacchan", Izuku sobbed against his chest. "Oi, what's with you crying like I have died?" "You might as well be", Aizawa walked into the room with All Might. "If Midoriya boy has not searched for you and saved you in time, you will be a puppet at the enemy's disposal", said All Might. "They wanted to erase your memory, Kacchan! You would have forgotten who you are and us!" "I was saved again, huh?" the blond teen mumbled. He suddenly felt annoyed. He wanted to be alone. Pulling the blanket to cover his head, Katsuki made a cacoon with it. "Come, Midoriya. It seems Bakugou would need sometime alone". They left the room. Behind them, Bakugou clenched his teeth as he let his tears of frustration fell down. .... Katsuki was discharged after two days in the ward room. He started to show strange behaviour. He wouldn't respond to anyone and most of time, he would lock himself in his room. His classmates were beginning to worry. His teachers would try to make conversation but he would give excuse he was feeling unwell. It had been two weeks since then. It was almost as if he was losing his will to continue on as a hero. "I'm pathetic", he mumbled and pulled the blanket closer. He heard a click and the footsteps approaching closer to his bed. "Kacchan, are you asleep?" Izuku asked softly. There was no response except a small tug on the blanket. "If you're asleep, I hope whatever I am about to say reach you somehow", he sat next to Katsuki. "Listen, Katsuki. I didn't mean to save you. I know you are strong enough to fight back but ... at that moment, I selfishly assumed that if I didn't move at that moment, I would lose you. Bakugou Katsuki, I think I understand what I am feeling now. It is not a simple like or crush or love. What I feel for you bothers on addiction. I am wrong to act like you're my possession. I forgot to respect your space. I am sorry", mumbled Izuku. Katsuki clenched his fist. How dare Izuku used his name when addressing him and how dare he thought he can own him? He was annoyed how the simplest apology can make him feel so much pressure. "Ah, I think I should go back to my room", Izuku excused himself but he didn't get too far when he was tackled onto the floor. Izuku had to cover his mouth. Katsuki , with a blanket still resting on his head, was looking at him with so much need. "Stay. I need you right now. You know what you need to do right?" "¤~¤ H-Hai!" Izuku replied. He had a long evening ahead of him. He was glad that his words reached Katsuki. ... Katsuki wasn't sure how it all went at the beginning. He was proposing that Izuku stayed with him and it picked up from there. Ah, yes, Izuku made the first move, switching their position and kissing him. The blanket was a bother but he was too numb to even discard it properly. "Mn", tingling sensation crawled onto his skin like electricity. He was close enough... for the second time but Izuku had his hand tightened around his length to stop him from letting it all out. "Deku, oi... get your hand's off. I can't ah ah hold it". "Just a little more, Kacchan", Izuku was determined to not let go until he was close. "Oi, you can just go into third ok? Just let me -ergh- let go, you idiot!" "No!" Izuku stubbornly replied. "I don't want to let go! Kacchan always got lost in his own feeling and it made me feel frustrated that I wasn't there to fight it with you! I won't let go no matter how much you told me to". It was something deeper and just how Izuku was always there to accept his feeling, he needed to do the same too. He pulled Izuku closer, feeling the same warmth on his skin. "Okay but do it quickly", he muttered. "¤□¤ Y- yes, Kacchan". ... Kirishima raised an eyebrow when he saw Katsuki sitting on a huge pile of pillow. "Woah... what's going on? Did you fall down really bad or something on your back?" the noisy red head asked while whistling. "Shut your trap! It's none of your business!" the blond teen ordered. "Ah, I'm glad that you've recovered, Bakugou-san", Tsuyu said, "although I don't understand why Midoriya-san is laughing like All Might. Is he practicing for the future?" Katsuki grabbed a nearby chair and flung it at Midoriya. "FUCKING STOP IT, DEKU!" It took a whole day to restore Midoriya back on earth... with a little help from Aizawa, of course.
