Lalapril 4/3: Affection
“There he goes again! He’s so in love! As if lightning struck him from above! I LoOOooOve you my hero~! You are my trUuUE LooOoveeeE~! Butter won’t you stop your silly dreaming please?!”
Butter took in a long and heavy sigh.
The foyer was completely empty except for him and Cinnamon who was sitting silently on the coffee table in front of him, munching on a regular sized strawberry wafer cookie.
She had been watching Butter as he did his moping thing, hoping that he would be able to snap himself out of his funk on his own.
Cinnamon was sure that Butter’s current mood was the result of what happened when everyone had left from Limsa Lominsa. She hadn’t seen it herself but Butter made sure to tell her and Pancake that Babycorn had waved him off personally from the boat.
As if that hadn’t been enough Babycorn had also apparently told Butter something along the lines of, ‘Take care! I’ll miss you Butter!’ It was specifically being called by name that sent Butter cartwheeling off the docks while giggling.
Having to be fished out of the ocean aside, Cinnamon expected Butter to be in an even better mood than usual for at least the next few weeks.
Instead, he collapsed into a pile of sadness the moment he stepped back into the mansion.
Since then, Butter had been sighing to himself in different parts of the house. Pancake assumed it was just his usual romantic yearning and left him on his own to hang out with Linnet and the others.
Cinnamon stayed behind (not because she didn’t have anyone to hang out with or anything!) and watched Butter brood around the mansion. At some point Butter had grabbed the blue rose Babycorn had given him and twirled it around by the stem in one hand while also wistfully staring out a window.
Cinnamon couldn't believe it had come to this.
She set her regular sized wafer cookie down and flew over to where Butter sat.
“I can’t believe I’m saying this but could you be any less in love?” Cinnamon feared that the next thing after this would be Butter going to stand at the docks every morning just in case Babycorn came back that day.
“...Huh?” Butter looked up at her, “Sorry Cinnamon. I’m just…” There was another looooong sigh from him and Cinnamon could feel her mental fortitude breaking down.
Cinnamon flew in a circle around Butter’s head, playfully tapping him on the forehead. “Hellooo?! You should be happy that Babycorn said goodbye to you!! She didn’t say goodbye to anyone else!”
Granted many of those that Babycorn would call her good friends were actually going on the trip with her so there would be no need for her to wave goodbye to them but that was besides the point.
“I am happy!” Butter blushed, a dumb smile on his face, “Like super duper happy…”
“Then what’s going on?” Cinnamon was literally out of ideas of what could be going on with him.
“I’m just thinking…What if Babycorn isn’t into guys like me?”
“Guys like…you?” Cinnamon was a little lost.
“You know!”
Cinnamon looked him up and down. “No I don’t know.” She raised one of her sleeves up to her chin to think. “Do you mean she doesn’t like guys with pointy hair? That would make her kind of a hypocrite. Since her hair is plenty pointy.”
“Noooo! I’m not talking about my hair!”
Though Butter had said that it still didn’t stop him from tugging on one of the spikiest parts of his hair.
“That’s not what I meant…I meant…”  Butter let out another lovesick sigh while still tugging at his hair spike, “I meant-I’m pretty short aren’t I?”
Cinnamon’s wings froze in shock for a few seconds.”Whaaaaat?? No! Of course you’re not short I mean-! Look at you! You’re taller than me!”
“That’s true but…” Butter sat back down on the couch, putting the blue rose back into its vase. “I might be taller than you but it doesn’t really matter unless I’m taller than Hildibrand.”
Butter probably hadn’t really noticed it but the way he had said the inspector's name had carried a lot more venom to it than Cinnamon, let alone anybody else, had heard his voice carry.
He let out another long sigh. “...Or as cool as him. Or stronger than him. Or more handsome than him……” Butter kept on listing more and more traits that Babycorn had told him about Hildibrand over the years. As every time Babycorn had come back from an adventure with the Inspector she would rush over to Butter with all the details.
Cinnamon couldn’t bear to watch this anymore. Something had to be done.
“Wait here! I’ll be back in a bit!!” Cinnamon waved her sleeve at Butter to get his attention.
Then, in a flash Cinnamon had flown away and then flown back. She was carrying a large sheet of paper. Its weight was clearly causing Cinnamon some distress, judging from the way she was quickly flying lower and lower to the ground. So Butter swooped in from the couch to give her some much needed help she would never admit she needed.
After regaining the composure she never lost (allegedly) Cinnamon flew in between Butter and the paper, sitting herself down on his left hand.
“What you’re looking at right now, my dear Butter, is the handiwork of me and Pancake’s hard work!” Cinnamon smirked and stayed confidently silent while Butter looked at the piece of paper in his hands.
What he was holding looked to be some sort of chart with several names and drawings of people.
Most of them were people that Butter recognized.
He also recognized Pancake’s writing right away and it was clear that this project must have been done more than a few years ago. Butter knew that she had recently started writing her letters with a bit more flair than she used to.
Butter would have to compliment Pancake on her improvement next time he saw her.
Butter’s good mood came to a dead halt when he recognized Hildibrand’s face on the chart. His face made a sort of grimace that Cinnamon instantly caught on to. Hildibrand was about the only thing that made Butter upset nowadays.
Not even his own neglectful parents got this much of a rise out of him.
“Don’t worry your little lovesick heart Butter! Hildibrand is the reason me and Pancake made this chart!”
“You made it for him?!” Butter sounded distraught.
“Wha-?  No!!” Cinnamon angrily flapped her wings, they glowed a little bit more red than usual. “We made this to combat anyone that got in the way of you finally dating Babycorn!!”
“Oh!” Butter was almost speechless. “That’s really sweet of you two…”
“See over here?” Cinnamon flew over and pointed at a quickly drawn picture of Raya-o-Senna. “There was a rumor that Babycorn had a little thing for her once. So we wrote down that while it could work she’s a pretty low level threat because they don’t see each other too often.”
“What what-?”
Butter caught sight of a drawing of Hildibrand, because of course he would be on here. Why wouldn’t he be?
“Why does it say ‘will be eliminated’ under this drawing of Hildibrand?”
“Don’t worry about it.”
Under him was a picture of Emmanellain. “This guy we filed under low level too. He might be rich and from what I hear-charismatic. But he’s nothing to worry about! Since he’s from Ishgard.”
Butter’s face lit up. “Is it because Babycorn doesn’t like the cold?!”
“Exactly!!” Cinnamon crossed her arms, “Look at you Mr. Babycorn expert. You got it even worse than I thought.”
Butter looked away and blushed. “That’s not…! Everyone knows that! She makes sure everyone knows so that she can pack her favorite yellow sweater that pushes her cheeks up and makes her hair look a little fluffier from the back!”
Cinnamon raised an eyebrow at him.
Butter waved his arms up and down. “It’s true everyone knows thaaaat!!!”
“No they don’t Butter!” Cinnamon flew over and grabbed the top of the chart and slightly wiggled it. She was, in fact, trying to severely shake it but with her size she only managed a slight wiggle. “Trust us! Me and Pancake did our research and NONE of the people here are a good enough match for Babycorn!”
“Cinnamon…”
“You just have to learn to have more confidence in yourself!” Cinnamon flew around him in a circle, “You got all the makings of a perfect Babycorn boyfriend! The chart says so! The science says so!!”
“I-I mean if you say so!”
He didn’t have the heart to tell either Pancake or Cinnamon that in the end it all really depended on what Babycorn would choose for herself. Even if he was perfect for her. According to love experts Pancake and Cinnamon at least.
Of course Butter would be heartbroken if she chose someone else, but in the end all he really wanted was for Babycorn to be happy. For her to live her very best life with the person she loved the most.
Even now Butter could still see Babycorn’s little lopsided smile looking back at him.
Waving back at him.
He sighed, with a smile.
“I’ll wait patiently for her and I’ll never stop loving her no matter what happens.”
While Butter was distracted looking longingly out into the distance he didn’t notice how Cinnamon rolled up the chart into a large tube of paper until it was smacking him on the back of the head.
“Ow?!” Butter held up both of his hands to the back of his head and looked behind him. Cinnamon was flying in place and barring her surprisingly sharp teeth right at him.
“What did I just say?! I told you! Don’t wait! You take the initiative!!”
Butter blushed a deep red. “...But it’s embarrassing…” When the topic of confessing to Babycorn ever crossed his mind his speech became nothing more than an alphabet soup of words.
“You’re going to have to figure it out eventually…” Suddenly Cinnamon looked like she had an idea. Specifically her wings stopped flapping and she got a mischievous grin on her face. “I’ve got it!!!”
Butter, ever the supportive friend, could almost never catch up to Cinnamon’s true intentions.“What’s up?” he asked.
“Once Babycorn and the others come back! That’s when you’ll make your move!”
“Huh?!”
“Imagine it Butter!” She flew in close enough to his face and grabbed at his coat with her sleeves. “They’re all back from their long trip, a loooong boat ride back home. Babycorn starts to get off the boat-!” Cinnamon flew back and took some invisible steps off of an invisible boat.
“She looks around to get her bearings…When BAM!!”
“Bam??” Butter had no idea where Cinnamon was going with this.
“Bam! You’re there Butter! With your best clothes! A bouquet of flowers in hand!! Then before anyone knows what’s going on-! You ask Babycorn out on a date!!”
“WHAT?!” Butter blushed and his face felt the warmest it had felt since they left Limsa Lominsa that morning. “I-I-I c-can’t do that!!”
“Not right now you can’t!”
“What?”
“Everyone said they would be gone for a while right?” Specifically Cinnamon remembered that Lunya said they would be gone for an undetermined amount of time. Which Cinnamon had personally translated as ‘a long time’ of course. “That gives you enough time to get ready!”
“I-I mean I don’t know…!”
Cinnamon interrupted Butter before he could say anything else. “This is it Butter! It’s now or never!” It was almost certainly not, now or never, as Cinnamon suspected but she was willing to say anything to give Butter that extra push.
Butter closed his eyes and sat in silence for far longer than Cinnamon expected him to.
Then…
“Okay!” He nodded, “I’ll do it! I’ll ask Babycorn out when she comes back home!!”
Cinnamon couldn’t even begin to contain her excitement, she must have done a dozen loops in the air at that very second from the sheer amount of happiness she was feeling at that moment. “Yesssssss!!!” She couldn’t wait to tell Pancake about this!!
“Butter! You are going to ask her out perfectly! Nothing will go wrong!!”
Butter laughed awkwardly, he was beginning to regret his abrupt decision already. Though a part of him was also metaphorically doing loops in the air out of excitement. Especially if Babycorn’s answer would be ‘yes.’
“If you say so…”

"So, not to sound like a broken record, but will I ever be invited over to your place?" your boyfriend asked from his position below you. You were back at his place after a night out. Hoseok heard of an exceptional restaurant from his coworkers, and since it was Thursday, your usual date night, the two of you decided to check it out. The food was good, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the staff was amazingly kind. There was no better way to end the evening than going back to Hoseok's apartment, turning on a random movie, and snuggling on the couch. A great end to a wonderful evening... though it seemed like he wasn't nearly as enthralled by the film as you were.
"Hear me out. The woman in this movie just showed up to her boyfriend's place out of the blue, didn't like what she saw, and booked it out of there," he added, eyes trained on you as you lifted your head from his chest.
You quirked your brow at his words, the movie no longer maintaining your interest. "Hoseok, we are watching a thriller. She ran away because she found out that her boyfriend is a psychopath. If that's your concern, I can assure you that my apartment is not a death chamber."
Hoseok rolled his eyes. "Well, you can't actually promise me that. You could be a really convincing liar," he pointed out, a scoff rolling from your plump lips. "I don't think that's what you're hiding from me, but don't you think it's a bit strange that I haven't seen your place? We've been together for a while now."
"I know you say that you aren't comfortable showing it to me, but it can't be that bad. You're a fairly neat person," he pointed out.
"Hoseok... it's pretty bad..." you said slowly, chin resting on his chest again, a pout forming on your lips.
"I used to live with six other guys. It cannot be as bad as living with six other guys," he insisted, though you would have begged to differ.
You had allowed a few men to see your place in the past, after dating them for some time, but none had been thrilled about your living arrangement. You grew conscious of your space, and you didn't want Hoseok to go running off after seeing it. You liked Hoseok a lot. He was the first guy in years that you had really connected with. He was sweet, undeniably caring, and was probably the only person that could make you blush at the smallest of action. You liked him, no, loved him... and that was why you couldn't let him see your apartment in the state that it was currently in.
You couldn't let him see that your apartment was currently more suited for fostering dogs than it was for having people over.
About two times a week, usually once on the weekend and the other a weekday, you volunteered at a local dog rescue. You had always loved animals, and being able to help them get the love and support that they needed was very fulfilling for you. You loved helping them get back on their feet, or even just giving them a playmate by jumping in and having some fun with them. Since you cared about them so deeply, you also cared about finding them forever homes. One of the things that had to be done to make sure that they were ready for adoption, was to make sure that they were socialized with other dogs and also people. As they had other dogs to play with at the rescue, the second part became more important. So, to make sure that they were socialized with people, you would often foster the dogs that were the readiest to be adopted.
However, given the rate at which puppies and dogs were coming and going from your home, you were having a hard time making it a livable space for both you and them. Often you found yourself giving them more space to play, for them to be comfortable... even if it meant you couldn't reach things like your couch. And this was the main reason that you were concerned about inviting Hoseok to your place. You worried that, if he saw it in its current state, no matter how much he loved animals and you, that it might scare him away. You just needed some time to tidy it up and make it more of an actual apartment.
Tonight was not going to be that night, unfortunately. You managed to get yourself in quite the predicament this time, and you weren't sure what to do about it. That morning, when you arrived at the rescue, the other volunteers had told you that some new puppies would be coming from outside of the city. A much smaller rescue recently came into possession of about eight new puppies, but, given their size, they weren't able to care for them. The organization you volunteered for agreed to take them in, hoping to rehome them in the city when they were ready.
This, of course, meant that you had a busier day than usual. Between taking care of the dogs that were currently at the rescue, and trying to introduce the new pups, there wasn't much time for rest. You worked tirelessly with the other volunteers to make sure that it all went well, while also trying to come up with some nicknames for the new arrivals. Everything had been going well until it was time to close up for the evening. It became apparent to all of you that there was not nearly enough room for all of the dogs to comfortably stay for the night. With a majority of your usual foster families already gone for the day, it was up to a handful of you to figure out the situation. Some of the other volunteers offered to take a few of the dogs home for the night, and you did as well. The two that you had been fostering were just adopted during the week, and that left your place reasonably open. And this was how you ended up with four puppies in your car, riding home with you.
Initially, you had chosen these four puppies because you knew their temperament and you knew that they played well together. You hoped that after an entire day of running around that they would be too exhausted to do much else once they were home. But you were wrong. The moment that you let them into the living room, it was as if they hadn't been playing all day. They zoomed around, chasing each other, making use of the ample space that they were put into. You were tiredly trying to run after them and calm them down. You needed help, and you needed it fast.
There was only one person you could call in this situation, and you just had to be prepared with the outcome.
"Hm? Babe? Isn't it kind of late? I wasn't expecting a call from you today," Hoseok said when he picked up the phone, confusion evident in his tone. On days when you volunteered at the rescue, he rarely got calls from you. He'd get texts telling him where you were, or cute puppy pictures, but you were usually too exhausted by the time you got home to really have a conversation.
"Ah, it is kind of late, isn't it. I'm sorry," you apologized as you tried to get the puppy in your lap to stay still for a bit. You heard Hoseok chuckling on the other end, knowing that he was aware of what was happening on your end, and you couldn't help but sigh. "I... I'm actually calling because I need some help..."
Your words caused Hoseok to spring up in his bed, phone in hand as he pulled on a shirt. "Help? Is something wrong? Where are you? Do you need me to get you right away?" he asked quickly, his body already moving at lightning pace out of his room and towards the front door.
His sudden and worrying remarks threw you a bit off guard. You should have known how your words sounded, but your brain was too tired to process them. "It's nothing like that," you finally said, hearing the rustling on the other end stop. "I... I brought home four puppies today because we didn't have room for them. They're... a little too much for me to handle so I was wondering if... if you could come over to help?"
The moment those words left your lips, Hoseok fell silent on the other end. You thought that in your little tussle with the pup in your lap that the call had disconnected itself. You were just about to check it when Hoseok finally spoke.
"You...you want me to... come over?" he asked slowly as if the words were foreign to him. He heard a very gentle and quiet, 'yes' on the other end, and after a pause, he spoke again. "I-I'll be right over."
The drive to your apartment was a short one, but Hoseok's mind was racing the entire way over. Just last week he was complaining about how he had never been to your place, and now you were voluntarily inviting him over. He knew that you did it because you needed the help that you were struggling, but he was also getting a bit nervous about finally seeing your place. He knew this took a lot of courage on your end to even suggest it, and so he wanted to approach it with a leveled head.
Hoseok pulled into one of the opened spots before he made his way into the building, following your instructions to your apartment. He gave it a gentle knock, figuring that ringing the bell might cause more harm than good at this hour. To his luck, he heard some feet shuffling on the other end, and the door slowly opened to reveal your pretty face. He gave you a smile in response, and you returned it, stepping aside for him to enter.
"Thank you for stopping by..." you said softly, a slight look of guilt painted all over your features.
"It's not a big deal. I stopped by and got us some food as well, in case you didn't have time to eat today," Hoseok said giving you a gentle kiss on the forehead before he followed you further into the apartment.
His steps were tentative behind you as he stepped over the small gate you had up for the puppies. The moment he stepped over, he instantly noticed the difference. Your couch was pushed against the far wall to make sure that there was ample space for any four-legged house guest of yours to run around. You had pens set up along another partition as well as baskets with dog toys. You had their food and drink bowls neatly aligned on the other side. Though he had an idea as to why you were nervous about inviting him over, he didn't think this was that bad. With some time to organize, this was a very livable space for you and the dogs you fostered. You really had no reason to be as nervous as you were.
"This was what you were too afraid to show me?" he asked, trying to stifle his chuckle.
"It's a mess, Hoseok," you reiterated, putting the squirming puppy in your arms down.
"I mean, sure there are toys everywhere, and maybe one too many crates, but this is still neater than living with six guys," he teased softly. "There's some tidying up to be done, but maybe you could do that once the puppies are gone. Speaking of, you said that you were having trouble with the puppies, but I only see –"
But before Hoseok could finish his statement, the puppy that you had put down ran over to one of the dog best and promptly woke up the three that had been asleep. The moment that they were awake enough to realize that there was a new house guest, they all came running up to him. Hoseok was quick to lower himself, his face lighting up as he played with the puppies, the air filled with cute little barks.
Hoseok playing with the puppies gave you enough time to plate the food that he had brought for the two of you, and prepare the food for the four bundles of fluff. Your food was left on the counter as you moved over to Hoseok with the four bowls of dog food, each pup getting its own portion. However, two of the puppies ate a bit faster and were already trying to find more from the others, leaving the two of you to struggle in keeping them away so that the others could eat peacefully. When their tummies were full, they seemed to lose all of their energy and slowed down for a nap.
This gave you and Hoseok just enough time to eat your own food in the kitchen. Granted, your entire meal consisted of your boyfriend, teasing you for not inviting him over sooner. He reassured you that your space wasn't inadequate and even offered to play with the puppies later if you wanted to tidy it up to your liking. You thanked him, and you felt as if a huge weight had been lifted from your shoulders. You were sure that if any other guy were brought into your home, they wouldn't have been this accepting. But Hoseok was… he was really something special.
The rest of your evening was spent playing with the puppies. The moment they woke up, energy meters refilled, they were a handful again. But with two of you, it was far more manageable. At one point, Hoseok took to playing with all four of them, a feat you weren't entirely sure how he managed to accomplish, as you took the time to move some things around. You pushed some old crates that you would bring back to the rescue towards the door. The picked up all of the toys that the puppies had unceremoniously taken from their baskets back into them. You even had the opportunity to do a bit of sweeping and cleaning the kitchen. By the time you were done and ready to situate yourself next to Hoseok, you couldn't help but giggle.
In the middle of your living room laid your boyfriend, puppies clambering all over him, but he was none the wiser. Taking care of the rambunctious quartet seemed to tire him out, and now he was passed out in the middle of it all. Gingerly, you picked up one of the puppies that almost stepped on his face and gave it some pets. Within the next hour, they had expelled all of that puppy energy and were slowly drifting off to dreamland themselves. You went around and picked up each one, putting them into the pen and making sure they were comfortable. Once they were all situated in their bed for the night, you headed back over to your boyfriend, giving him a gentle kiss on the nose.
"Hoseok..." you called out, shaking him slightly.
At the sound of his name and the spontaneous moment of his body, he woke up with a bit of a start, though he relaxed when he realized it was just you. Sleepily, he opened his eyes as he took in his surroundings, his brain, realizing that he had fallen asleep in the middle of your living room. "Ah, did I fall asleep? Are the puppies okay?"
You gave him a small smile. "They are. I just put them into the pen for the night. You did a good job at tiring them out… though they seemed to do a better job with you," you teased.
"They are… a lot of work," he said sheepishly.
"Thank you for coming over to help. I really appreciate it," you said earnestly.
"Any time, babe. And please don't be afraid to invite me over? I know that you love the dogs that you take care of, so I'm aware that your place may not always be the neatest and the most organized. I'm not scared off by it," he chided gently, giving you a kiss.
"You really are too perfect," you told him, watching that grin form on his lips. "Let's go to sleep."
Quietly the two of you moved to your feet, and you guided him back towards your bedroom, and over another dog gate. He stopped the moment you were over it, and you couldn't help but give him a confused look.
"You have a normal bed, right?" he teased.
The only thing Hoseok's remark got him, however, was a shove into the room and onto the bed that wasn't too far off. "Just get under the covers," you retorted, the two of you scrambling to get comfortable in each other's arms. You may have been worried about having Hoseok over before, but now, well, it wasn't a problem anymore...

November 2018 Blurbs
11/1/18 In Novembers Gusty Gale...The one baby song that sticks with me is that line from Chicken Soup with Rice... The fact that I know that and can sing falsetto really sets a tone. Rice Lake run today as Scholarships needed answering somehow the fact that i can only qualify for one and yet still can deal with classwork is a mystery. Eli in 2 Weeks and hoping Basketball at the Vikings Stadium at months end. Mom said shed go with on Saturday to St. Paul but in case not contingency is the Queen Movie. Stinks about Nutcracker being lousy Grinch remake for Christmas Movie it is. 11/2/18  Patti and the Bravada im trying to buy. Something tells me thats got to answer itself very soon. Ellen wasn't going to St. Paul either so contingency may now be in place. Work at least had benefits being sorted out. Also Lego Harry Potter man that game was fun, glad for the port, now they just need to port other lego games. 11/3/18 Bravada is now mine thanks to mom. More crucially Queen Movie was luckilly in town, at theater that is now only open weekends. Confusing yes, just hoping this isn't premant closing like Bruce. Movie was near perfect as Rami Malek Crushed It, a term I almost never use. Andrew fried microwave after 18 years. It was overdue but man it stinks that its gone. ReLife Anime...If episode 17 had me tearing up, the other 15 1/2 should be just as interesting. Unlike that other show A Sister Is All You Need, a premsise about slice of life, authors and drinking that wears dull quick. 11/4/18 So begins a short week, mainly due to assurance needed for initial plans. Just wish they could have called me in for one more day, i have assurance but still could have used it. Pete Davidson is really hurting based on this weeks SNL no matter his mindset and well wishes, he's hurting. Packers more so...and Ricks final Walking Dead, what a cop out...So glad I'm done with the show, no matter how interesting teenage Judith looks. One more detail, just when I thought 2018 had used up all its anime...Rapping Zombies on a Show that really should be used by the ZombieLand Sequel coming out next year, they can spit licks. 11/5/18 Remember Remember...An annual watching of V For Vendetta and its poigancy highlights today. Bravada is now officially mine just have to get it al registred and isured without it breaking my bank. Also never trust pictures for all purchases on Ebay, miffed on that count. Very long day tomorrow, even work may be overshadowed by this, could have used this 2 years ago on that fateful night. 11/6/18 The Blue Wave of election day. Unlike 2 years ago when that blowhard of president peeved off the country, this made me glad i was working. Plenty of distractions. But Walker is gone from Wisconsin and the Blue Wave crested at the house. Not the complete washover those wanting Trump gone hoped for but still great. 11/7/18 Those 2 dopes i call younger brothers...Somehow they dont get it. Only thing they do get, is how awesome Red Dead Redemption is and how i wish to high heaven it came out for the Switch. 11/8/18 This time of year when the cold comes out, the stuff you like to do seems impractical. I have a vehicle that I cant use until i get it titled, and a nephew coming in 1 week who may not even see me a bunch. Lone thing giving me some solace, the black Friday Ads popped up today. So many possibilities. 11/9/18 Winter has shown in full force, proof being, those 2 dopes stuck here. Me having to suffer through it until I head to work. Holding off on Grinch until next week, possibly seeing it with Mom and Eli. 11/10/18 RWBY Continues to astound. Salems storied history with Oz, wholly molly. Christmas season always seems to bring out the best when it comes to treats. Lately my favorite seems to be those nougats. Fresh and gooey all in one sweet package. Badgers sure do stink. That guy getting revenge on Pete Davidson especially the Ariana Ringtone that was worth it to see during SNL, Liev Schriber sure is not funny though. 11/11/18 Vets, heroes who give thier daily lives to defend all that we hold dear and sacred. Also fitting its the centiniel of said remeberence. New guy on Cap 2 Tristan, I'm really liking, seems to hold his own quite well. 4 days until Eli comes looking forward to it. 11/12/18 Why does family make the easy things so difficult, once again those 2 dopes. Store had Black Friday stuff being assembled today. Be glad to use debit card tomorrow when i get bulk of my funds back. Last few days have been rough. 11/13/18 GameFlip, an app ive been using to buy mainly Amazon cards is really having it both ways with me. Great to find digital codes for almost nada, but this one guy who i bought a card from on Sunday has been really screwey. Really miffed on that front. Said digital codes allows me to rewatch The Meg during work lunch. 11/14/18 Final Project for class has me creating a full training seminar. Stinks knowing that I have to do it on too broad a subject issue. Mobility in the workplace, having to do with wheelchairs and other devices. Wow city this is hard. Christmas box has been dug out, begining decorating tomorrow before Eli shows up. Hunters at play this weekend. Also glad store discount expands to food for rest of year. 11/15/18 Dad is 60 feels weird to say that. Well Eli, a little bit intimidated by me, but we have a week to fix it. Got A debt collection thing from WITC On the same day i finaly knocked off tuition. I know i wanted to not have autopay on tuition but this is ridiculously overkill. Likley watching Fantastic Beasts Saturday when we get back from Rice Lake, glad like the Queen movie this is in town. 11/16/18 Nora and Eli, weird combo that sends him into his Grandmas arms. Glad thats occuring while im not at home. At least my and Erics Grandma got to see him, just not sure how much longer that will be a possibility. One week to Black Friday and the trucks for delivery have tripled. The sales will be worth it but the work on the other hand, wish that just came faster. 11/17/18 Stags day, the first day of hunting season a little less crowded around the area. Went with mom and Eli to see Grinch but showing ended up being sold out. Eli for being 4 is just a near ball of energy, even if we never gave him sugar Wish he could calm down, mom somehow seemed chill with it, might have to take her advice on this issue. Cute when he has to be, bullet like mom put it on all other fronts. As for Fantastic Beasts, it seemed overstuffed for its own good a two hour episode like youd see on Netflix or somewhere else. Though Depp did win me over as Grindlewald. 11/18/18 Eli was better today, and we managed to actually get some stuff done. He ended up being major help with placing ornaments on my tree. Work however was a mess, misinformation abound. Thursday outside better not be a bigger mess. Oh wait its the Black Friday sale yeah it will be. 11/19/18 The thanksgiving week is always wacky, Monday somehow is wackiest. Eli went with Mom to meet Rafe while I mainly spent it finishing decorating the room. Green Light Strand isnt working will have to replace it. Cayedn surprsingly got a deer and Eric is really helpful on that front. Work meanwhile was nuts, this time however, with Split Pants. May have to get new ones before Thursday Night. Glad this week a lot of stuff on Itunes and Amazon is on sale. Will likely take big advantage of this. Andy possibly thew wrench in plans, hopeful that i dont have to cancel. 11/20/18 Lone day off this week has me stopping at WITC to finish work i have assigned since i have no class tomorrow. Had to pick up pants as my others split. Will hold off on game or blu ray until thursday night after work. Mom and Skillet cookies glad she makes them but could wonder what else around here might break as stove is going. Our turkey is set for tomorrow as Eric and compay leave before parade on thursday. Hopin to get Eli once more to do craft project, want to surprise mom on that count. 11/21/18 The day before, aka the busiest travel day of the year. Made rudolph feet with Eli, a lot bigger than i pictured him to be. Had to wear split pants as replacements didn't fit. Turkey was good, unexpectedly tried Moms squash that was really tasty for some odd reason. Back outside for carts tomorrow, first time since the summer and i get thrown to the wolves on the big one. Colder than usual i will admit. 11/22/18 Eli seemed sad to leave us, but at least i got him the ornament he made ready before he did. Another thanksgiving the parade in full glory. Lions crappy game, Cowboys decent game, and Wal-Marts annual 6pm sale. Cole really needed to be slapped. He must think im dumber than i look. Best part is always the low price movies and tv shows. Annual pickups of Flash, Arrow and Big Bang Theory. Handmaids Tale DVD counts too this time along with Jumanji and a film i personally wanted to see but heard crap about, Assassins Creed. Not looking forward to the rain tomorrow. 11/23/18 Quieter than usual actual Black Friday. Couple that with Rain that washed away snow, pretty off day all around. 11/24/18 Plans for Basketball with Andy and Carynn are officially scrapped, could remedy that in another surprise way. Something about today that just felt so much more off than usual. Lingered at Library, lingered at Store, even lingered at McDonalds stuff i would not normally do on a day like this. Ralph Breaks the Internet I'll hold off on for now. Really still want to see Grinch. Badgers finally lost the Ax after 15 years, really makes you think. 11/25/18 Finally got Wolfenstien 2 downloaded for Switch, will look forward to play something else besides Zelda for a bit Smash Bros awaits in the wings. Christmas gifts are starting to take abit of idea form. UCF continues to climb, will need upsets by Texas and Northwestern to have a shot at Playoff but without QB is risky. 11/26/18 Mom threw out her back, not sure if it was from picking up Eli but she seemed more out of sorts than usual. Other replacement for Cap 2 joined, liking him so far. Small issue with Chyenne who was on phone for nealry 15 minutes in the middle of the aisle, and nobody said a peep. If it was me, would have been fired. Privelege indeed. Guy at McDonalds may be homeless, was tempted to report him but with all the white calling blacks for doing normal stuff no way id risk it. 11/27/18 This day always seems to be the quietest when it comes to stuff coming out, almost nothing. One movie I wanted to get for Eli when he was here finally showed up. Wrapped up DVD's as gifts for Eric and them. 15% extra coming Thursday. Not sure what itll be used for. 11/28/18 Rare Wednesday I had store duties as well as class. Got extra 15% card for the even 25%. Glad ill be able to use it this time. Unlike what I originally had intended for The 30th. Could use some more snow around here. 11/29/18 25% discount thankfully goes 2 days so held off on that. Visited WITC the Christmas decorations are great as usual. Visited Menards but the so called enchanted forest seemed lacking. At least I was able to get bulbs and another set of blue lights. Sold ticket, hopeful Andy can get in tomorrow and enjoy himself. 11/30/18 Contigency Plan #2: Animated Grinch, OK Cumberbatch was excellent and Pharell ups Anthony Hopkins but the movie was just simply Ok. 25% got used well for Moms clients and Connor and Amber. Andy and Carynn got in and enjoyed themselves. Also got thier save the date and details on the  Weddding. Looks like a fun 4 day trip next May. Last Part of Year begins, lets see if this can finish strong. Never  figured at start that id be blogging this but just goes to so. 334 Days down 31 to Go.
